بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
هَلۡ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ حِينٞ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهۡرِ لَمۡ يَكُن شَيۡٔٗا مَّذۡكُورًا١
76:1. For many ages in ancient times, did the man not come across such a time when his status was not at all worth to be mentioned about? (19:77)
إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ أَمۡشَاجٖ نَّبۡتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ سَمِيعَۢا بَصِيرًا٢
76:2. Thus, after passing through the many ages, the direct creation of man from nutrient of soil gradually became obsolete. The arrangement for the creation of man from the drop of the senses by the union of the male and female gradually began, according to the plan of Rabbu. After that, We gradually infused the power of hearing and seeing and made him become a civilized man. (See 32: 5-9)
إِنَّا هَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرٗا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا٣
76:3. And he was given guidance from Rabbu so that he might live better. Since man has been given complete freedom according to the plan of Rabbu, it is left to man’s choice whether to accept guidance and walk-in faithfulness or oppose it. (See also 18:29)
إِنَّآ أَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ سَلَٰسِلَاْ وَأَغۡلَٰلٗا وَسَعِيرًا٤
76:4. But it was declared that the lives of those who reject His guidance and go astray will fall into the trap of vain rituals and become tormented. (See 7: 157)
إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ يَشۡرَبُونَ مِن كَأۡسٖ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا٥
76:5. On the contrary, the quality of life of those who accept His guidance and do good deeds will rise even higher. It was assured that their quality of life would be sweet and fragrant.
عَيۡنٗا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفۡجِيرٗا٦
76:6. This fragrance is the virtue that grows within them as a result of their good deeds. Those with such morals deserve to live in the present, will be welcomed, valued, and respected wherever they go.
يُوفُونَ بِٱلنَّذۡرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوۡمٗا كَانَ شَرُّهُۥ مُسۡتَطِيرٗا٧
76:7. These are the ones who persevere in the way of their Rabbu and fulfill His purposes. They were the ones who fear that the evil consequences spread to all sides and that it would be difficult to eliminate them if they act against His guidance.
وَيُطۡعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسۡكِينٗا وَيَتِيمٗا وَأَسِيرًا٨
76:8. To prevent such a situation, they will set up welfare forums according to His guidance to alleviate the sufferings of the afflicted people. This means that people with disabilities who are not able to earn and those who are helpless in society will get help through this. All of this, they do out of their attachment to Rabbu. (See 2:177)
إِنَّمَا نُطۡعِمُكُمۡ لِوَجۡهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمۡ جَزَآءٗ وَلَا شُكُورًا٩
76:9. And they will say to the people, “All the favors we do to you are not seeking thanks from you but seeking the approval of Rabbu who created us, it is our duty to do so, and you need not utter a single word of thanks.”
إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوۡمًا عَبُوسٗا قَمۡطَرِيرٗا١٠
76:10. They will say, “If we do not do such good deeds, we fear, that our condition will be greatly aggravated by the social depravity that would befall us as per the Pre-Determined Laws of Rabbu.”
فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمۡ نَضۡرَةٗ وَسُرُورٗا١١
76:11. By such a service mindset, the law of Allah will protect them from approaching any evils and help them to gain the admiration of all. Thus the facial bloom and happiness will remain for them.
وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُواْ جَنَّةٗ وَحَرِيرٗا١٢
76:12. And if they persevere in the work of Rabbu and continue to work, their society will become like paradise. So they will be dressed in striped clothes to honor them.
مُّتَّكِِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِۖ لَا يَرَوۡنَ فِيهَا شَمۡسٗا وَلَا زَمۡهَرِيرٗا١٣
76:13. And they lean upon their seats, looking after their affairs. Their habitat will not be too hot or too cold. That means getting a pleasant life.
وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيۡهِمۡ ظِلَٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتۡ قُطُوفُهَا تَذۡلِيلٗا١٤
76:14. And the land in which they live will be rich with shade trees. And the fruits they want will be within reach.
وَيُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بَِٔانِيَةٖ مِّن فِضَّةٖ وَأَكۡوَابٖ كَانَتۡ قَوَارِيرَا۠١٥
76:15. To mark their economic progress, there will be delicious cool drinks with shiny silverware. Those in need can sip them.
قَوَارِيرَاْ مِن فِضَّةٖ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقۡدِيرٗا١٦
76:16. They will be shining bowls of silver. They would have been made in many sizes. They can buy and use them as needed.
وَيُسۡقَوۡنَ فِيهَا كَأۡسٗا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا١٧
76:17. And there would be nutritious drinks and health-promoting tonics available. Consuming these will help you to work briskly.
عَيۡنٗا فِيهَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلۡسَبِيلٗا١٨
76:18. And there will be nutritious food that promotes the power of thought. Human intelligence power will improve much faster if these are used. Everyone will come together with knowledge and dynamism in creating a great society.
۞وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وِلۡدَٰنٞ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ حَسِبۡتَهُمۡ لُؤۡلُؤٗا مَّنثُورٗا١٩
76:19. And they will work in the offices surrounded by gardens of Paradise, there will be young servants to support them. Their style of performance will all be exciting.
وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيۡتَ نَعِيمٗا وَمُلۡكٗا كَبِيرًا٢٠
76:20. If you happen to be in such a paradise, you will see a government going on with great blessings. That is, all the resources will be obtained and will be used constructively.
عَٰلِيَهُمۡ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضۡرٞ وَإِسۡتَبۡرَقٞۖ وَحُلُّوٓاْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٖ وَسَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ شَرَابٗا طَهُورًا٢١
76:21. Those seated on such a magnificent throne will look majestic, dressed in glittering stripes of many colors, and wearing rings made of silver in their hands. And soft drinks will be provided to them when they need them. With such facilities, they will take care of their government affairs.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمۡ جَزَآءٗ وَكَانَ سَعۡيُكُم مَّشۡكُورًا٢٢
76:22. You will get none of these as donations. These are the facilities that you get for your tireless work. Your needs are being met because you have been acting according to the will of Rabbu.
But those who do not believe in this Qur’anic guidance say that it is all written by the Messenger of Rabbu by himself.
إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ تَنزِيلٗا٢٣
76:23. Let them know that this Qur’an (6:19) was gradually revealed only by Allah. The purpose is to create a heavenly society as mentioned above.
فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعۡ مِنۡهُمۡ ءَاثِمًا أَوۡ كَفُورٗا٢٤
76:24. Therefore, do not let your hearts be troubled, neither be dismayed; Never follow sinners or social enemies among them.
وَٱذۡكُرِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ بُكۡرَةٗ وَأَصِيلٗا٢٥
76:25. To accomplish this great project, you must consult and decide on your Rabbu's plans (see 42:38).
وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَٱسۡجُدۡ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحۡهُ لَيۡلٗا طَوِيلًا٢٦
76:26. Gather at night if there is an urgent need and try to accomplish His projects. And act as fast as you can to accomplish them.
إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمۡ يَوۡمٗا ثَقِيلٗا٢٧
76:27. All those who oppose you, tilt towards short-term happiness, do not even think about the tragedies that will befall them later. Thus, ignoring His guidance that is proclaimed for temporary pleasures and lasting future pleasures.
نَّحۡنُ خَلَقۡنَٰهُمۡ وَشَدَدۡنَآ أَسۡرَهُمۡۖ وَإِذَا شِئۡنَا بَدَّلۡنَآ أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ تَبۡدِيلًا٢٨
76:28. We are the Ones who created them all and gave them a strong physique. But they dare to use their strength against Us. Can't we bring another type of creation in their place?
إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذۡكِرَةٞۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلٗا٢٩
76:29. Verily, this guidance is good advice. So whichever community wishes, let them choose the guidance shown by their Rabbu.
وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمٗا٣٠
76:30. But after coming to the framework of guidance of Allah, their desire should be in consonance with Allah’s wills. Allah is well aware of the fact that whoever acts according to His will. The consequences of their actions will betray them.
يُدۡخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِي رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ وَٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِيمَۢا٣١
76:31. Thus, does He admit only those who wish to act in accordance with His guidance? And after coming and joining this organization, those who act unjustly will undergo painful torments.
