بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَٰتِ عُرۡفٗا١
77:1. Have you noticed the gentle breeze?
فَٱلۡعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصۡفٗا٢
77:2. Did you notice what happens when the same wind turns into a storm?
وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشۡرٗا٣
77:3. Have you noticed the widespread rain?
That means you will like the breeze and the pleasant rain. But you do not like storms or floods. The reason is that they pose a risk. So is your community. It is the will of Rabbu that there should be a better society with breeze and rainwater resources. But if you decide to live spontaneously without accepting the guidance of Rabbu, the opposite result will be riots, revolts, murders, robberies, and storms in your life. There will be nothing you can do about it.
فَٱلۡفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرۡقٗا٤
77:4. That is why the reformist has come to make clear what is the right path of life and what is the wrong path. Did you heed his advice?
فَٱلۡمُلۡقِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا٥
77:5. Take care of the good advices given to you.
عُذۡرًا أَوۡ نُذۡرًا٦
77:6. They are all for your safe life and are a precaution against the adverse effects of doing so.
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٞ٧
77:7. If you refuse to accept that advice and act arbitrarily, the promised destruction will come to you.
That is, joint efforts are required to establish the rule of Rabbu and to create a better society. Those who come forward to fight against this must be suppressed.
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتۡ٨
77:8. At that time, small quazi-governments will lose strength.
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتۡ٩
77:9. It will be followed by a split in the anarchic regime.
وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡ١٠
77:10. And the majesty of those who have mounted wealth will flee away like dust.
وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتۡ١١
77:11. Then, the ministry of the Rabbu’s regime and its department will take its place. The timings for its workings will also be fixed
لِأَيِّ يَوۡمٍ أُجِّلَتۡ١٢
77:12. Why is there such a delay for such a revival?
Each project will progress gradually and become fully operational. Delays are caused by anticipating the right moment. That is, arrangements are being made for the good to rule and for the wicked to be punished accordingly.
لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ١٣
77:13. That is the “harvest day” for everyone who does good or bad.
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ١٤
77:14. Who else other than Rabbu can give you a proper explanation about this “harvest day”?
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ١٥
77:15. The “harvest day” is the worst torment for those who reject Rabbu's guidance and commit evil deeds.
أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ١٦
77:16. Ask them if they were informed about the disgrace that befell the earlier societies?
ثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ١٧
77:17. “Did not the societies that came after it, when they did the same evil deeds, have the same condition?”
كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ١٨
77:18. “In the same way, those who do evil today will be punished. There will be no change in this.”
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ١٩
77:19. That is why the punishment for those who reject Rabbu's guidance and engage in evil deeds is severe.
أَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٖ مَّهِينٖ٢٠
77:20. Think about your own creation which was completed after many different stages. Did We not create all of you from the drop of the cell?
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ فِي قَرَارٖ مَّكِينٍ٢١
77:21. Then we created a safe pregnancy bag by male-female combination.
إِلَىٰ قَدَرٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ٢٢
77:22. You stay in that womb for a certain period which you know.
فَقَدَرۡنَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡقَٰدِرُونَ٢٣
77:23. We have arranged all these things. Have we not organized Our projects in the best possible way? But
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٢٤
77:24. Those who reject Our guidance by lying about such power of Rabbu and await severe punishment.
أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ كِفَاتًا٢٥
77:25. Have you ever thought about the earth that has engulfed all of you? Did We not create it ourselves?
أَحۡيَآءٗ وَأَمۡوَٰتٗا٢٦
77:26. Do you not notice that life and death continue to take place on this earth?
وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ شَٰمِخَٰتٖ وَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُم مَّآءٗ فُرَاتٗا٢٧
77:27. And We have created in it the highest mountains. With it, we make sweet water available to you.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٢٨
77:28. If all this is true, Our statement that those who reject the guidance of Rabbu and engage in evil deeds will suffer severe punishment is also true.
ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ٢٩
77:29. So ask those who refuse to obey the law of “the consequences of human actions, to carry on with their programs.
ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ ظِلّٖ ذِي ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٖ٣٠
77:30. Smoke zones with three types will surround you. You will live by it.
These three can also be referred to the economic problems, family problems, and physical health problems caused by the wrong social systems.
لَّا ظَلِيلٖ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ٣١
77:31. It will not be possible for them to get rid of those pains. Can't even enjoy them.
إِنَّهَا تَرۡمِي بِشَرَرٖ كَٱلۡقَصۡرِ٣٢
77:32. The reason is that the torments are like bombs being thrown with huge fire pits.
كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٞ صُفۡرٞ٣٣
77:33. They look like big yellow camels.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٣٤
77:34. You reject the guidance of Rabbu and engage in evil deeds without worrying about such terrible torments! Do you still doubt that you will not receive a severe punishment?
هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ٣٥
77:35. It is the time when the effects of human actions are emerging, no one can talk about anything.
وَلَا يُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَيَعۡتَذِرُونَ٣٦
77:36. There can be no excuse for having gone astray.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٣٧
77:37. Those who reject the guidance of Rabbu and engage in evil deeds without worrying about such a situation will surely be severely punished.
هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِۖ جَمَعۡنَٰكُمۡ وَٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ٣٨
77:38. "Harvest Day" is the period in which the benefits and evils are justly attained according to the good and evil deeds done by every human being in the world. So, we will gather those before you.
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَيۡدٞ فَكِيدُونِ٣٩
77:39. So plan as much as you can to escape the prescribed punishment. Do not leave anything out.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٤٠
77:40. Will severe punishment not be meted out to those who reject the guidance of Rabbu and engage in evil deeds even after such a call?
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَٰلٖ وَعُيُونٖ٤١
77:41. But the situation of those who have followed His guidance will be a direct change to this. They will be comfortable in cool shades and water droplets.
That is, the “harvest day fixed by Rabbu” will be different for followers of guidance.
وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ٤٢
77:42. Yes, they will get all the fruits they want.
كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيَٓٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ٤٣
77:43. “All these are the pleasures for your labors. So, eat as generously as you like without any difficulty. Drink more as and when needed.”
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ٤٤
77:44. Thus, We reward those who do good deeds.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٤٥
77:45. But for those who reject the guidance of Rabbu and engage in evil deeds, there will be severe torments.
كُلُواْ وَتَمَتَّعُواْ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجۡرِمُونَ٤٦
77:46. O liars of Rabbu's plan! Enjoy yourself for a while.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٤٧
77:47. But let them keep in mind that those who reject the guidance of Rabbu and engage in evil deeds are sure to receive severe punishment.
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرۡكَعُواْ لَا يَرۡكَعُونَ٤٨
77:48. The reason for this is that they are not ready to accept the constitutional laws which have been formulated in accordance with His guidance.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٤٩
77:49. That is why those who reject the guidance of Rabbu and engage in evil deeds are sure to receive severe punishment.
فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۢ بَعۡدَهُۥ يُؤۡمِنُونَ٥٠
77:50. What other source of guidance (hadith) will they accept even after such precautionary messages are revealed to them?
