بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
وَٱلذَّٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرۡوٗا١
51:1. Watch out for the dusty wind.
فَٱلۡحَٰمِلَٰتِ وِقۡرٗا٢
51:2. Watch the wind carrying rainwater.
فَٱلۡجَٰرِيَٰتِ يُسۡرٗا٣
51:3. Observe the sea breeze that blows in different directions.
فَٱلۡمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمۡرًا٤
51:4. Observe the wind that distributes rainwater around the world according to the season.
Do you know what the functions of air correspond to? When His guideline messages spread fast at wind speed, those who carry them move here and there in different directions of wind to share the news which the community needs. These are the plans of Allah,
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٞ٥
51:5. Witness the truth which Allah has promised.
وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٞ٦
51:6. So, the promise is that the punishment for refuters will be in accordance with the rules of Allah and as per their activities.
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡحُبُكِ٧
51:7. Also, look at the stars that adorn the sky. Have you noticed how they decorate the sky even though they are fabricated from different angles?
In the same way, the central theme of guidance is the same, though it is explained from different angles. Its ultimate aim is to make a man have a lasting peaceful life.
إِنَّكُمۡ لَفِي قَوۡلٖ مُّخۡتَلِفٖ٨
51:8. But there are innumerable contradictions and different actions in human speech.
يُؤۡفَكُ عَنۡهُ مَنۡ أُفِكَ٩
51:9. So those who seek to go astray endure to go astray.
قُتِلَ ٱلۡخَرَّٰصُونَ١٠
51:10. Those who refuse to accept His guidance will have no substantiated guidance.
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي غَمۡرَةٖ سَاهُونَ١١
51:11. They are the ones who are negligent, no matter what their outcomes are.
يَسَۡٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ١٢
51:12. Those who mockingly ask when the day will come when the consequences of human actions will appear.
يَوۡمَ هُمۡ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفۡتَنُونَ١٣
51:13. Is it a good scene for them to come like that? To watch and enjoy? Not at all! It's time to dump in unbearable torments and move on! Explain this to them.
ذُوقُواْ فِتۡنَتَكُمۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ١٤
51:14. At such a time, their situation will be, “Enjoy the pain you expected. Is this what you were in a hurry for?”
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ١٥
51:15. Rather, those who function as per Rabbu’s guidance will rejoice in the gardens and fountains of Paradise.
ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَبۡلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحۡسِنِينَ١٦
51:16. They will be happy to receive all the livelihoods available from Allah’s administrative system. This is because they have been doing good deeds according to Rabbu's guidance.
كَانُواْ قَلِيلٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ مَا يَهۡجَعُونَ١٧
51:17. They performed their assigned duties at night as well. So they were able to sleep only for a short time at night.
وَبِٱلۡأَسۡحَارِ هُمۡ يَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَ١٨
51:18. They were awake before dawn and were making plans for social security
measures and relief work for the people.
وَفِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ حَقّٞ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ١٩
51:19. They used their wealth to help raise the living standards of the poor and needy, knowing that it was their duty
وَفِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ءَايَٰتٞ لِّلۡمُوقِنِينَ٢٠
51:20. Thus, for those who act with complete faith in Rabbu's guidance, various experiential lessons are available. For this, we have mentioned the wind around the earth as an example.
وَفِيٓ أَنفُسِكُمۡۚ أَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُونَ٢١
51:21. Likewise, there are many signs within you. Have you ever thought about that?
Just as the atmospheric changes bring rain which keeps the living beings alive, a community can live only on a collective basis. So society is like the body of a man. Man can live in peace only if all the organs of the bodywork together. If any one of its elements is affected, then there won’t be the peace of mind. Similarly, a community can only be better if people from all walks of life work together. If any part of it affects the people, it should be corrected immediately. Failure to do so will spread the damage to other areas and make the situation uncontrollable. Keep this in mind and do it.
وَفِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزۡقُكُمۡ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ٢٢
51:22. You are receiving sustenance from the sky as promised to you.
فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقّٞ مِّثۡلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمۡ تَنطِقُونَ٢٣
51:23. If they still do not understand the provisions of life made in the sky and on earth, then explain the truth by quoting historical sources, as they were being spoken to.
هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيۡفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلۡمُكۡرَمِينَ٢٤
51:24. Have you come across the historical facts of the noble Reformist Ibrahim in that order?
إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗاۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٞ قَوۡمٞ مُّنكَرُونَ٢٥
51:25. One day, some strangers came to him, praying for peace and tranquility. In return he entertained the visitors, saying that he too wanted them well. However, he wondered if there were strangers with whom he had no acquaintance.
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجۡلٖ سَمِينٖ٢٦
51:26. He told his household to entertain those who came, and he brought the fried meat of the calf.
فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ قَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ٢٧
51:27. He asked them to come forward and eat it.
فَأَوۡجَسَ مِنۡهُمۡ خِيفَةٗۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٖ٢٨
51:28. When he found them not eating, he was troubled*. Noticing this, they informed the message of Allah that a wise son would be born to him.
فَأَقۡبَلَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ فِي صَرَّةٖ فَصَكَّتۡ وَجۡهَهَا وَقَالَتۡ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٞ٢٩
51:29. When his wife heard this, she was amazed and ran with her fingers crossed in her mouth. He wondered if she would be able to have a baby in her old age.
قَالُواْ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ٣٠
51:30. “What’s there to be surprised about this? You will have a baby at this age. This is the message of Allah. Of course, He would never say anything that does not happen. Because He knows you have no children and will be born.”
*The reason is that usually, those who bring bad news will not eat. So, the visitors came with the bad news too.
Part: 27
۞قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ٣١
51:31. Then, Reformist Ibrahim further asked the reporters what their itinerary was.
قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ مُّجۡرِمِينَ٣٢
51:32. To which they said that they would like to go to the community who are engaged in evil deeds.
لِنُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن طِينٖ٣٣
51:33. They said that they had brought the news that a fiery flame would be thrown at that community.
مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ٣٤
51:34. This is a sign of punishment from your Allah for those who transgress.
فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ٣٥
51:35. So, those who follow His guidelines will be asked to vacate from that place.
فَمَا وَجَدۡنَا فِيهَا غَيۡرَ بَيۡتٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ٣٦
51:36. Accordingly, they went there and told Looth the message which they had brought. Except for a few who followed Looth Nabi there, no one else seemed to be obedient to Allah. His wife too was among those who perished (see 11:81)
وَتَرَكۡنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةٗ لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَلِيمَ٣٧
51:37. So, We made clear to future generations how severe the punishment for the wicked was.
وَفِي مُوسَىٰٓ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٖ٣٨
51:38. Similarly, there are many lessons in the history of Reformist Moosa, when Allah sent him to King Fir’aun with clear evidence,
فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكۡنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٞ٣٩
51:39. He refused to accept his advice due to ruling power, wealth, and force. He also charged that his speeches are nothing but lies and is mad as he repeatedly tells the same thing.
فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٞ٤٠
51:40. So when he and his soldiers crossed the river, they were thrown into it and buried in it. He was subjected to many insults because he acted without thinking about anything. (See explanation 7: 136)
وَفِي عَادٍ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلۡعَقِيمَ٤١
51:41. There are many lessons to be learned from the fall of the ‘Aadhu’ community as well. They were caught in the gusts of wind that blew across the country and perished.
مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَيۡءٍ أَتَتۡ عَلَيۡهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتۡهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ٤٢
51:42. That wind pulverized everything in front of it. To that extent, it was a severe whirlwind.
وَفِي ثَمُودَ إِذۡ قِيلَ لَهُمۡ تَمَتَّعُواْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ٤٣
51:43. There is also a lesson to be learned from the fall of the ‘Samoodh’ community. The reformist who came to them called for lasting happy life. But they rushed to the side of temporary comforts. So they were only able to enjoy it for a while.
فَعَتَوۡاْ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَهُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ٤٤
51:44. They all acted blindly in disobedience to the command of Allah. They did matter the precaution given to them. Finally, they were trapped in an earthquake and became extinct.
فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ مِن قِيَامٖ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنتَصِرِينَ٤٥
51:45. They could not withstand the severity of the earthquake there. No one was able to help them. So they perished.
وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ٤٦
51:46. And before them all, the community of Nooh too was destroyed. They too perished in the deluge because they disobeyed the instructions of Allah.
And if you do not come forward to live according to His guidance even after citing these historical sources, then convince them with some more facts of the creation of the universe as evidence.
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيۡنَٰهَا بِأَيۡيْدٖ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ٤٧
51:47. All the creations of the universe were created by the infinite power of Allah. Not only this, let them be informed that the universe expands as per His framed laws.
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَرَشۡنَٰهَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَٰهِدُونَ٤٨
51:48. Though the earth is orb-shaped, He is the One who has stretched it out so that you can stand upright and act. It testifies to the infinite power of Rabbu who created in this way.
وَمِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَا زَوۡجَيۡنِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ٤٩
51:49. Moreover, the fact that all the creations on earth are in pairs testifies to the infinite power of Rabbu.
فَفِرُّوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ٥٠
51:50. So hasten to the guidance of Allah. I warn you of what your wrongdoings are and what their consequences would be.
وَلَا تَجۡعَلُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ٥١
51:51. And do not follow any other means equating with the guidance of Allah. I warn you by informing you what your wrongdoings are and what their consequences would be.
But the people are not listening to your advice. Instead, they criticize you in various ways. This is nothing new.
كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُواْ سَاحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٌ٥٢
51:52. In the same way, the people who lived before them used to look at the reformist, whenever they came and say that this was nothing but a hoax to deceive the public.
أَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِهِۦۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٞ طَاغُونَ٥٣
51:53. When one looks at their mockery, it seems as if every community, in their last days, had been instructed to mock at the reformists in this way. Everyone is a misguided community!
فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٖ٥٤
51:54. So do not worry about them. Leave them in their course. It is not your fault if you leave them like that.
وَذَكِّرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ٥٥
51:55. But give good advice to those who wish to accept the guidance of Rabbu. This is an act that will bring benefits.
وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ٥٦
51:56. So they are all created to live in obedience only to the guidance of Allah, whether they are urban or tribal.
مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنۡهُم مِّن رِّزۡقٖ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطۡعِمُونِ٥٧
51:57. The regime that is formed under the guidance of Allah does not expect anything from you. It wants you all to lead a happy life with all amenities.
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلۡقُوَّةِ ٱلۡمَتِينُ٥٨
51:58. All the livelihoods are available to you such as water, air, sunlight, earthly forces, and the sky around the earth created by the power of Allah. Keep in mind that it is possible only through strong arrangements.
فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذَنُوبٗا مِّثۡلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصۡحَٰبِهِمۡ فَلَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونِ٥٩
51:59. So, do they expect the same sufferings as befall to previous communities by misuse of their livelihoods? So let them not rush for this. The pains will surely come at the right time. Then
فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن يَوۡمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ٦٠
51:60. It would be certain that those who reject the guidance of Allah and do wrong will be surrounded by the torments of hell.
