هود
۞

Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)

ا Stands to denote Allah. Lam stands to denote La-Ilaha That is no Controller in the Universe except Allah - رۚ Ra – Stands to denote Rahman The Most Beneficent

11:1

11:1. This Scripture, which has been bestowed by Allah, the Sole Controller of Universe, the Most Beneficent is as eloquent and detailed just as it is carved in stones. All this guidance is from Allah, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

11:2

11:2. The basic principle of this Scripture is that man should not follow anything other than the guidance of Allah. The theme of this Scripture is to warn of the adverse effects of acting as a substitute for this and to highlight the benefits of acting in accordance with Allah’s guidance.

Based on this, The Reformists conveyed the message to their respective people of communities:

11:3

11:3. Focus on the guidance of Rabbu. If you continue to do so, you will have more opportunities after a certain period. The more you work, the more comfortable you will be. I am afraid that if you turn away from this policy, you will face many problems and sufferings in your life.”

11:4

11:4. Even if you leave this guidance at present, you all have to return this guidance of Allah to find the solutions to the problems in your society. Leaving this will never get you any other way to a better life. Know that the control of all creation is with Allah.

11:5

11:5. Do you know the situation of those who act as a substitute for this guidance? Their behaviors appear to be good whereas their attitudes are against you. In this way, they try to cover up what is hidden in their hearts. But is it possible to cover up like this with Allah? Will he be unaware of the obvious actions taking place behind the scenes? Allah has the power to know the thoughts that penetrate the human heart!

Part: 12

11:6

11:6. If you want to know the mighty powers of Allah, think about the fact that He has made extensive administrative arrangements for all living beings in the world for their survival. It is because of such arrangements that no creature dies without food. (See 29:60 &. 41:10) Not only that, but Allah has set all the rules of law, such as where and how particular living beings should live and how long should they live. Thus, every matter is recorded in detail in the Immortal Planning and all the universes function accordingly. You will never find any change in them.

The regime, which is formed under the guidance of Allah, will carry out these livelihood arrangements. In this way, man or any other creature will not be left to starve. Therefore, the food production of the country and its distribution system will be the main responsibility of the state. (12:54 & 55)

11:7

11:7. Allah has created the galaxies and the earth in six stages and is maintaining them in such a way that this management plan works best. (See explanation 7:54) He has also control over the arrangement of water, which is vital for the survival of all living things. (See 2:22) He also took control of life and death to check who among the people of the world follow the guidance of Allah, act beautifully and live better. (See 67: 2). So, to those who do not accept these basic things that man's life continues after death, say that these are all nonsense. They say, "Human life ends with worldly life." (See 45:24).

When Qur’an talks about life and death, it refers to the life of the individual as well as that of a community. The death of the community means the people living there as walking corpses without any ability. (See 7: 179) Quranic education tends to give enlightened life to those who live like that. (See 8:24) This education comprises the study of scientific education (see 30: 19-27, 16: 10-16) and moral disciplines. Only if these two are present the community or the country will flourish. The worldly life of the individual and the life after death will be better. (See 2: 201).

But the consequences of the activities of an individual or community do not appear immediately. It occurs after a certain period as per the Pre-Determined Laws of Allah. (Ref: 16:61) When you inform this to the people,

11:8

11:8. They say, “Who told you to delay in inflicting such torment? It should have been given immediately.” But tell them, “Will the time of consequences for them not come because of such talk? If it comes, can they stop it?” Don't they know that what they are joking about is something that will surely surround them?

11:9

11:9. Such people, when they lose the comforts of life available to them from Rabbu, despise say, “It is our fate that Allah has inflicted on us.” He does not think about the wrong things which he has been doing. Thus he becomes ungrateful.

That is, if they are harmed by their wrongdoings, they blame Allah as if He is responsible. This is also a disgraceful speech.

11:10

11:10. At the same time, when the sufferings of man are removed and blessings are received from Rabbu, he will happily say, “It is all my favorites that evils are gone.” He will rejoice as if he has succeeded in the ambition of his life.

These are the daily occurrences among the people of the society who do not accept the guidance of Rabbu They live with the goal of temporary happiness. The community will not care about the future well-being of the people or the life that will continue after his death. They will have the audacity to take care of everything when it comes. When suffering occurs, it is said that Allah has done this. If they get a comfortable life, they will be proud to think that all these are the facilities they have achieved out of their efforts.

11:11

11:11. But those who accept the guidance of Allah will live in unison with joy and sorrow with moderation and will continue to do capable good deeds with determination. Such people will continue to enjoy a secure life and the benefits of their hard work.

And this Quran, which is blessed by Allah, often speaks of the perverse consequences of the wrongdoings of the people. But they do not heed these warnings. Therefore

11:12

11:12. O, Reformist! You might think to hide some of the revelations regarding warnings to the public. By doing so can you avoid their miseries? But, it is your duty to bring it to their knowledge.

Secondly about their objections, “Should not a treasure descend upon him? Or shouldn't an angel come with him?” Regardless of all these comments, continue to fulfill your duties. The laws prescribed by Allah will take care of their every action.

11:13

11:13. Or do they say, “He wrote this Scripture with his own imagination?” If so, ask them, “Make at least ten chapters like this Scripture with your own knowledge. If you are truthful in your argument, set aside Allah's guidance and make better ways than this (see: 2: 23,10: 38) and call on the experts and scholars among you for this.”

11:14

11:14. If there is no response to this call from them, then tell them to accept that these framed advices have surely come from Allah, the Wisest and that man can never have a better life by following any other means. At least, let them now come forward to live complying with this guidance.

11:15

11:15. Even after such a proclamation, if the members of any community do not think of future sustainable benefits and live only for the sake of temporary pleasures, they will face the adverse effects of their deed as per the Pre-Directed Laws Allah. There will be no reconsideration in this.

11:16

11:16. But those who live with such selfish tendencies only for the sake of temporary luxurious life, will not get any share in the future sustainable benefits. So, it becomes inevitable that such societies will perish over time. Thus, all of their efforts and planning will go to waste and will not yield sustainable benefits.

There are three ways to know the true state of guidance. (1) Man's cognitions (2) Benefits and consequences based on guidance (3) Historical sources and lessons learned from them.

11:17

11:17. True followers are those who, after clearly understating these facts, explore and find out if the same benefits or the consequences that occurred at the time of Reformist Like Moosa Nabi are still available. Hell would be the destination for those who do not accept all of these facts and act against Allah’s guidance. No one needs to have any doubts about this. The true things that have been going on for a long time have come from Allah. But most of the people do not think and accept this.

11:18

11:18. They use the name of Allah without thinking about all these facts and fabricate Shariah laws and guidelines on their own by pretending as if Allah has revealed them. Could there be any one more unjust than these? Such miscreants will be brought before the court of Allah. Their condition itself would be the witness to inform, “These are the ones who belied the guidance of Allah.” Thus, they will lose all the blessings of Allah.

That is, if the people of the community are to continue to live better, they must not spread wrong information to people about the plans of Allah. The Islamic State will ensure that this does not happen. Those who spread falsehoods beyond that will be imprisoned. This includes horoscopes or astrology, atonement, etc. which are not announced by Allah.

11:19

11:19. And they are preventing themselves from coming towards the true guidance of Allah, claiming that the Shariah laws that they have created are the religion of Allah. Not only that, they are causing a lot of confusion in guidance. Eventually, they themselves become the ones who act against Allah’s guidance.

11:20

11:20. But they can never escape the grip of Allah's Law of “Consequences of human deeds." Nothing can support their better life except the guidance of Allah. So over time, the bad consequences of their actions will continue to plague society. The pains and miseries will be even greater. Thus, the people of that community will not have the ability to ask or know anything or the ability to think.

11:21

11:21. Such are those who have caused loss to themselves. All the means they have created with their imagination will gradually disappear from them.

11:22

11:22. There is no doubt that such people will ultimately be in dire straits as great losers.

11:23

11:23. On the contrary, if a community accepts the guidance of Allah, obeys them completely, devises creative welfare schemes according to His commands, and works for it, the society in which they live will become like Paradise. That paradise life will continue as long as they do so.

11:24

11:24. The above two categories can be explained with an example. A group of blind people who cannot think or feel is like deaf people. Another category is those who are qualified to think and act on anything. Are the two categories equal? Think for yourself and answer. (See also 13: 16-19 & 35:19)

Today's practical world is a testament to this example. We see that the countries that think and act are better and the countries that are immersed in superstition are far behind. Nevertheless, in economically advanced countries, there is a lack of guidance on human morality, and their “progress” leads them to destruction. This is not something that only happens in today's world. This has been going on for a long time.

11:25

11:25. So did the people of the community of the Reformist Nooh Nabi who lived in ancient times. He used to advise his people. He spoke openly about the dire consequences of their wrongdoing.

11:26

11:26. The main point of his teachings was that no one should follow any means other than the guidance of Allah. He repeatedly expressed his fear that all their wrongdoings would be painful.

11:27

11:27. But the Community leaders who listened to his teachings said, “We do not see that you have any other special than that of an ordinary human being like us. Also, take note of the situation of those who are with you. These poor people seem to be blindly associating with you without any forethought. They do not seem to have any superiority over us. In light of all this, it seems to us that there will be no such sufferings as you say.”

11:28

11:28. To this, he said, “O my people! Have you not noticed that I present to you the clear evidence which I have received from Rabbu? I act according to the guidance I have received as a blessing from Rabbu but, you say you don't understand anything which I say. It is my duty to state the facts whether you like it or not. I cannot force you to accept it. Because these are all guidelines that need to be considered and accepted wholeheartedly.”

11:29

11:29. And he said, “O My community people! Notice also that this guidance is for your benefit. I am not mentioning this to you for my gain. I get my livelihood from the provision of Allah. So, I cannot chase away those who accept Allah’s guidance. If I do so, they will appeal to Rabbu against me. You call them ignorant. But If you think about it, you will come to know as to who is ignorant.”

11:30

11:30. And he said, O my people! If I chase them away for your sake, there will be no one to save me from the punishment of Allah. Don't you know about it?”

11:31

11:31. He said, “I did not tell you that I have the treasures of Allah, that I know the unseen facts, or that I am an angel. On the contrary, I say, “Will Allah leave them without any benefit to those whom you consider disgraceful? Only those who adhere to His guidance will become superior. Not by style, dress, appearance. Allah knows best what is in their hearts. So, I do not want to drive them away and become one of the wrongdoers against the will of Allah.”

11:32

11:32. And they said, “O Nooh! You have argued too much with us. It seems that you are not going to change according to our wishes. So if you are truthful, as you often warn us, bring the torment before us right now.”

11:33

11:33. To which he replied, “It is not under my control to bring that destruction or torment. They all are the consequences according to your activities. So when you look at what is going on, it seems that destruction will surely happen soon. If there is such a catastrophe, you can never stop it.”

11:34

11:34. He added, “So my advice is not useful to those who decide to go astray and face destruction according to the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah. In that case, I can do nothing to save you from destruction. For Allah is One, Who watches over you all. Know that every action you take leads to the goal of "the consequences He has set.”

11:35

11:35. O Nooh! Do they think that what you are talking about is based on your self-thinking? Tell them, “If I fabricate anything that Allah does not say, I will be guilty. So, you are responsible for the crimes you are committing. I stay away from it.”

11:36

11:36. And it is clear that most of them except a few will accept the guidance of Allah and who are with you. So don't worry about what they are doing. Leave them to their course,” the message said.

11:37

11:37. And in that revelation came the command to build a ship under the direction of Allah. No need to be complaining about what people are doing anymore. Because they are immersed in the wrong way.

11:38

11:38. So, he began to build an ark according to the direction of Allah. The people of the country, unaware of the facts behind it, spoke sarcastically of what he was doing. To which Reformist Nooh Nabi humbly replied, “I cannot stop this work because you mock us. At some point, we will make fun of you just as you make fun of us.”

11:39

11:39. “You will soon find out who is being pushed into a painful disgrace. That too would not be a temporary disgrace. Instead, you will know that it will be a permanent catastrophe.”

11:40

11:40. And it came to the end of the grace period, according to the Pre-Determined Law of Allah that the fountains rose on all four sides following heavy rains, and turned into tidal waves (see 11:44). Then came Rabbu’s advice to collect a pair from every creature that lived there. And the commandment was to enter into the ship excepting those who were determined to deny his speech. And very few of the people were his followers.

11:41

11:41. He told his followers to board in the ark as per Allah’s advice. They asked him where he was going. He said, “This ship will go and stop according to the Law of Allah. Surely by this ship, you will have the protection and mercy of Rabbu.”

11:42

11:42. Then the waters began to rise, and the ship began to float in the floodwaters. Then he looked at his son who was standing away from him and said, “My dear son! Ride with us. Don't be stubborn.”

11:43

11:43. He said to him, “I know how to save myself from this water. I will go to the top of the mountain and protect myself. ” On hearing this, Reformist Nooh Nabi said, "No one can recover from this deluge except those who have received the help and grace of Allah through this ark at this moment." At that moment a barrel arose between them and drowned him. His son was also one of those who drowned.

11:44

11:44. A few days after that the rain stopped. As per the Law of Allah, overflowing water on the surface of the earth began to recede. As the water receded, the ship landed safely on Mount Jude. The followers as such witnessed the destruction of the people who were involved in the unjust act.

11:45

11:45. Reformist Nooh Nabi could not control his grief when he saw his son being swept away in the flood before his eyes. He said, “Ya Allah! My son belongs to my family. You have promised to save my family. So, I look forward to hearing from You. For there is no one more just than You.”

11:46

11:46. And He said, “O Nooh Nabi! Truly he does not belong to your family. He may be your son by birth. But all his actions were immoral. So, he is not one of the family who followed your advice. You do know the truth about this. Still, you are asking Me to save him as if you do not know the truth.”

Dear Intellectuals! Did you notice? Is it the principle of guidance or blood relation! When it comes to the question of whether there is a bond relationship, the principle of the guidance is the most important. Doesn't this passage make it clear to us that any blood relationship is secondary?

11:47

11:47. Knowing the truth, Reformist Nooh Nabi said, “Ya Allah! I seek refuge in You to know what I do not have a clear knowledge of. You are the Most Merciful to protect all. Otherwise, I would have been one of the losers.”

That is because he was the son of a Reformist if he had been saved, he would have come to the new place doing the wrong things as before. So, there will be obstacles to the fulfillment of Rabbu's plans. Allah is fully aware of this.

When the floodwaters receded, the message came from Allah to disembark from the ship and seek His grace. It seemed to him that part of the earth would have been submerged and all its resources would have eroded. But the truth was that it became fertile.

11:48

11:48. “O Nooh Nabi! All facilities are available according to our arrangement so that you and those who are with you can live better and with more facilities. So, you get off the ship and continue your work. Now it is about those who are with you. Some of them will act against you. They will only have a temporary comfortable life. Then, as a result of their actions, they will end up in unbearable pains.”

11:49

11:49. O, Reformist! When these events occurred, you never lived with them. You are unlikely to know any of these. So, We inform you of these through revelations. The purpose of this is to inform you of the best plans for you in the same way as Reformist Nooh Nabi overcame the opposition patiently and soberly made arrangements for his self-defense. If you act according to Our guidance, you will get many successes just like the good results he got.

Not only that but do not think that such events happened only to one Reformist. This is what happened to almost all the Reformists. The same thing happened with the Reformist Hood, who came after Nooh Nabi. Notice what happened.

11:50

11:50. Hoodh was a Reformist born in the community of ‘Aadhu’. He also said to the people, “Obey only the guidance of Allah. No one can command you except Him. But you have left His guidance and are living a life of remorse and are telling fiction.”

11:51

11:51. And he said, “I speak these things for your benefits. I do not mention this to you for my own gain. I get the living facilities I need by working through the arrangements of Allah who created me. Given all this, will you not understand what I am saying?” That has been his teaching to his people.

11:52

11:52. He repeatedly advised, “O People of my community! Pay attention to Allah's guidance to protect yourself from the ill effects of your wrongdoings. Give up your wrongdoings. Also notice how the earth is revived by rain from the sky according to the Pre-Directed Laws of Rabbu, and how you gather strength and glory from the food that results from it. Likewise, the guidance of Allah is there to strengthen your better life. Do not ignore this and become a criminal.”

11:53

11:53. To which the community leaders replied, “O Hoodh! None of the things which you are telling us seem to be correct. So, trusting in you, we are not ready to give up the deities which we worship. Not only that, we do not accept your teachings.”

11:54

11:54. They said, “We think that god’s curse is on you because you have spoken against our gods. That is why you are making such strange speeches.” To which he replied, “What can I say to those who have such thoughts? Only Allah can bear witness against you. I stay away from the imaginary deities which you worship.”

11:55

11:55. He added, “All of you get together and do whatever you want to do with your gods against me. Do not delay in this.”

11:56

11:56. And he said, “I strongly believe in the law of Allah, the Sustainer of the universe, you and me as well as every creature of the world.” This law of ‘cause and effect’ applies to everyone. No creature in the universes can escape from the grip of the law. To that extent those laws are firm. And the way He shows me is the best way to a better human life.”

11:57

11:57. “Even after giving you the advice with such clear evidence, if you ignore it, you will be responsible for the consequences. It is my duty to explain the consequences based on revelations I receive. I am fulfilling that duty. So your misdeeds will result in social degradation and you may come under the pressure of regime by people from another country instead. When such a situation occurs, you cannot stop it. Surely the guidance of my Rabbu is for the protection of all.”

At present, there is inequality, discrimination, and injustice in their regime. That is why degradation is taking place in the country. It will not last long. So, the people of another country will end their anarchy and work for the safety of all people. This is the provision of Allah (see 2:251)

11:58

11:58. Thus, when their anarchy reached its climax, We announced to Hood and those who were with him through a message to go to a safe place. Thus, We saved them from a severe torment.

11:59

11:59. In this way, they made history to cry, “These are the ‘Aadhu’ communities. They refused to accept the authentic guidance of Allah and did not follow the guidance of Reformist. Instead, they followed the orders of the leaders who went astray in every way.”

11:60

11:60. So, they gradually lost the blessings of Allah in their present life and future stable life. As such, they became subject to many troubles and sufferings. These are not due to hatred towards them either. They were the result of their activities against the guidance of Allah. So, think for yourself what happened to the ‘Aadhu’ people in that country.

11:61

11:61. The same thing happened to the ‘community’ of Smoodhu. Reformist Salih Nabi came to guide them. He also said to the people, “Obey only the guidance of Allah. There is no one who can empower you except Him. It is Allah who created you on this earth and arranged all the facilities for you to live better. And these guidelines are given for your safe life. So, leave the wrong ways that you are following and come into the circle of protection of Allah. Surely, my Rabbu is very near. He is the One who fulfills all our needs.”

11:62

11:62. To this, they replied, “O Salih! Previously you were one of the prominent persons of our community. We thought that you would be our guide. But now we find a lot of changes in your speech. Are you telling us to abandon the rites of worship that our forefathers followed for a long time? Not only that, we do not see any truth in the policies which you are calling us to.”

11:63

11:63. “O People of my community! I have received clear-cut guidance from Allah. This is a great blessing that can be a beacon of light to guide man to a better life. Won't you take care of this? Who will save me from the consequences if I obey your words and deviate from the guidance of Allah? The fact is that none of your methods cause anything but disasters

All living facilities made by Rabbu are common to people of all walks of life. These livelihoods are brought under the control of vested interest, causing the economic disparity. Thus, the affluent come to power and oppress the weak. It is opposite to Allah’s guidance. Reformist Salih Nabi gave the voice against this attitude.

11:64

11:64. “O People of my community! Here is this female camel! It is a symbol of your social organization. Let everyone cooperate to make it work better. Do not do any harm to it. Beyond that, if it is not fed properly, it would mean that the control of the social system has been disrupted. As a result, there will be many problems in your community and you will have to shed tears for it.”

But the advice of the Reformist Salih did not last long. They became out of control of the social system. So over time, the system lost control.

11:65

11:65. As days passed on, they breached the contract they had made based on the symbol of the camel resulting in chaos in the community. (See 7:77) The Reformist said to them, “If you want to protect yourself, leave your town within three days from now onwards. Otherwise, you too will perish in the destruction that will occur in this place. It is certain that this will happen. There is no change in this.”

11:66

11:66. Likewise, the moment of destruction came nearer according to the Pre-Directed Law of Rabbu. Reformist Salih and his companions left the place as per the instructions of Allah and escaped from that destruction. Surely, the plan of Allah is very firm and strong.

11:67

11:67. Those who stayed there without listening to the words of the Reformist Salih were caught in an earthquake with the cry of disaster. (See 7:78) So they were buried in their own homes.

11:68

11:68. Thus, their houses were buried under the ground. And the town was gone. This was not due to the hatred We had over them. Instead, they disobeyed Our guidance and disregarded the warning of the Messenger. So, they were caught up in that destruction and perished. (See explanation 7:79)

In this way, all communities were warned by the reformist before the catastrophe occurred. Their tendency to reject the words of the reformist, despite such warnings, caused destruction.

11:69

11:69. Thus came the warning message to Reformist Ibrahim Nabi too. The messengers brought the good news to Reformist Ibrahim, wishing all of them to be well. He also wished them for their well-being and arranged for them to eat fried meats.

But the tradition was that those who bring the bad news would not be eating or talking for a long time.

11:70

11:70. Similarly, Reformist Ibrahim Nabi was skeptical and frightened when he noticed them not eating. They said, “Do not be afraid. The bad news is not for you. but to the community of the Reformist Looth Nabi.”

11:71

11:71. The message from Allah was the good news about the birth of Ishaq to Reformist Ibrahim and Jacob, who would be born through Ishaq after him. The wife of Reformist Ibrahim, who was standing there, was overjoyed.

11:72

11:72. Though the message of a son gave his wife joy, she was astonished at her old age. “Oh my Allah! Am I blessed to have a son in this time of old age? Here is my husband! He too has grown old. Will I have a baby in this situation? This is a wonderful thing,” said the wife of Reformist Ibrahim.

11:73

11:73. They said, "Do you wonder about Allah's plans? Rejoice in the fact that the good news of the child is going to be the beacon light that is coming to this house and the grace and blessing of Allah is going to be available. And know that the plans of Allah are glorious.

11:74

11:74. Reformist Ibrahim Nabi was pleased to hear this good news. But he began to inquire seriously about the community of Looth Nabi of what Rabbu's plan was.

11:75

11:75. Reformist Ibrahim was tolerant and light-hearted. He was the one, who put forward Rabbu’s guidance in every matter.

11:76

11:76. They said, “O Ibrahim! You stop worrying about them. Because the time is near when the consequences of their actions will appear according to the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah. So, the torments that will befall them are inevitable.” They went to the place of Reformist Looth Nabi.

11:77

11:77. When they came to the Reformist Looth Nabi and told him the news, he was deeply worried about the people. “This is a very critical time,” he said.

Because he feared that the newcomers would be treated inappropriately. So he had the responsibility to send them away safely.

11:78

11:78. His community rushed to those who had brought the messages. They came there wanting to do the wrong things which they had already been doing. Reformist Looth Nabi called them alone and said, “Here are these women. These are people like my grandchildren. Why don’t you live happily by marrying these chaste women instead of committing such inappropriate acts? Do you not fear the consequences of what Allah has ordained for your unworthy deeds? And do not insult me in the matter of my guests too. Is there not anyone of you good? ” He asked anxiously.

11:79

11:79. They said to him, “You know very well that we have no interest in any of your girls. You know exactly what we want.”

11:80

11:80. The Reformist regretted, “I do not have enough strength to stop your wrongdoing! I am left without any strong support!”.

11:81

11:81. Knowing this, the guests said, “We have come as messengers of your Allah. These tyrants can do nothing for you. So when dusk falls, take yourself and your followers out of the town overnight without caring about anyone. Do not waste your time thinking about them. Your wife will not be among those who come with you. The time of dangers for them is near. The time when those disasters can come is the next morning. So, time is very limited. Get ready to leave immediately.”

11:82

11:82. Reformist Looth Nabi and his companions left in the same way. Those disasters occurred as per the time frame. All the great mansions they had built collapsed and were buried in the ground. In addition, the earth split open and erupted lava from it. They also rained on them.

11:83

11:83. Those fires were signs of a dreadful message from Allah to them. They were caught in that devastation as a result of their own activities. Such catastrophes are not too far away for those who are indulged in evil activities.

11:84

11:84. Similarly, the history of the Reformist Shu'ayb, who was born in a place called Madhyan, is also very important. He also preached to the people, “Live only in obedience to the guidance of Allah. There is no one in authority except Him. I notice that you are all living happily ever after.”

“At the same time, I do not overlook the inequality in society. The main reason for this is the irregularities in buying and selling the commodities and in business matters. You have to arrange for a uniform weight and measurement system and make way for products to be reasonably available to consumers. I also fear that the happiness you now enjoy will not last if you do not do so.”

11:85

11:85. And he said, “O My community! If economic and social equilibrium is to prevail in the country, there must be no inequality in the distribution of livelihoods to all people. The judiciary must also act in a very fair manner. So do not do injustice to the poor people in the matter of setting the scale. Do not wander about creating social disharmony.”

11:86

11:86. And he said, “Do not think that it is good to acquire wealth unjustly. The real benefits are acquired only by upholding social justice. Only by this, you will get constant benefits from Allah. But you can know the truth about this only if you fully accept the guidance of Allah and act accordingly.”

Community leaders and the wealthy people who listened to his series of teachings came to argue against him. They were of the opinion that his teachings should somehow be stopped from growing in society.

11:87

11:87. They began to argue., “O Shuaib! What kind of ‘Salath’ system do you want to come up with? Does your ‘Salath’ command us to leave the gods that our ancestors worshiped for a long time? Not only that but that ‘salath’ also prevents us from spending the wealth as per our will! Are you saying that what all our forefathers so far did till this day is not right and that you alone are good enough to protect the welfare of the poor and common people? ”

Dear Intellectuals! Have you noticed what is the “Social system” that a Reformist brings to his community? Did you notice that the key aspect of that salath is to bring about reforms for economic and social balance? Notice also how great a responsibility this is on Muslims. That is why verse 29:45 emphasizes that the purpose of Salat is to promote good and prevent evil.

11:88

11:88. To which the Reformist Shu'ayb replied, “O my people! You know that I act on the clear guidance of my Rabbu. And you see that I am honestly receiving the blessings of Rabbu and living better. But you are unjustly amassing wealth to create inequality in the country. I am preventing such misconduct from taking place. I do not want to engage in wrongdoing like you. I want nothing more than to bring about reforms in the country as much as I can. All these efforts are with the help of Allah. I have full faith in the guidance He has given to me and I am acting on it.”

11:89

11:89. And he said, “O people of my community! Do not be hostile to me against Allah’s guidance which I give you. Prior to this, the community of Nooh Nabi, Looth Nabi, and Salih Nabi all refused to accept the guidance of Allah and met with destruction. I advise you not to suffer the same fate. Not only that, but notice that the place where Looth Nabi's community lived was very close to your locality.”

11:90

11:90. “So, come to the side of a safe life under the guidance of Rabbu who created and cares for all of you. Abandon your wrongdoing and act in the way He showed to you. If you do so, you will surely have the mercy and supports of my Rabbu, the Nourishing system of the world.”

11:91

11:91. When the leaders of the community heard this, they shouted, “O Shu'ayb! We do not understand most of the things you teach. Of course, you do not seem to have any specialty other than us. You are so much weaker than us in all aspects. We tell you this because you belong to our clan. And if these supporters are not with you, we would have stoned you to death. You will lose all the value and respect we had for you.”

11:92

11:92. To which Reformist Shu'ayb replied, “I refer to the consequences of human deeds as prescribed by Allah. I also warn that no one can escape from it. But you speak on the basis of caste and tribe. Is all this more important than the guidance of Allah? You have completely rejected the guidance of Allah. Know that the prescribed law of the consequences of human deeds surrounds everything you do.”

11:93

11:93. “O People of my community! Even after this, if you do not come forward to accept the guidance of Allah, act according to your will. We too are acting according to Allah’s guidance. You will soon find out where the infamous torments are coming from and who the liars are. You can not anticipate anything other than the arrival of such a torment. I look forward to the rewards of my actions.”

11:94

11:94. As the evil deeds of those communities went on increasing, the time of its consequences was nearing to appear. A warning message came from Rabbu about the moment of destruction. So, he and his followers left their locality. Those who stayed there disregarded the precaution from Rabbu and perished in the earthquake there. The town where they lived was reduced to ashes.

11:95

11:95. Thus the inhabitants of Madhyan were utterly destroyed just as the community of Samoodhu perished and the place where they lived disappeared from the graph of the world.

11:96

11:96. Similarly, We sent Moosa Nabi with full authority to give clear proof to Fir’aun.

11:97

11:97. He went to address Fir’aun and his royal court. None of the rules that Fir’aun and his royal ministers followed were honest or wise. Yet they followed suit. They did not come forward to accept the advice of Reformist Moosa Nabi.

The consoling message of Allah said that you need not regret it.

11:98

11:98. When you have the support of the Israelites, Fir’aun will come with his forces to oppose you. He and those who depend on him will be thrown into the abyss of destruction. (See 14:28 & 29) The place where they will go will be the worst hell.”

11:99

11:99. “Not only that but they will be disgraced by losing the blessings of Allah in the present life and the future stable life. The rewards for them will be very bad.”

11:100

11:100. O Messenger of Allah! These are all ongoing histories. We express these by announcing the message through the system of "revelation". A few of those communities are still alive. Others have been uprooted.

11:101

11:101. All these destructions are due to the evil deeds they have done to themselves. We have never incurred any loss on them (see 4:40). When the consequences of their misdeeds came to light, none of the imaginary deities they were calling for, came to their aid. Their misguided tendencies did nothing to aggravate their loss.

11:102

11:102. What all the historical evidence tells you is that no matter whichever society they belong to in the world! When they commit unjust acts, they can never escape the clutches of the law of "human consequences" prescribed by Allah. It is also a declaration of how dreadful the sufferings and torment they received were.

11:103

11:103. All the historical sources of the earlier societies report the destruction of the communities which were involved in unjust acts. They are held in accordance with the immutable laws of Allah. There is a lesson to be learned by contemporary society. O Reformist, by the same unchanging rules of law, those who oppose will raise objections. When the moment comes when they all come together and collide with you, they too will witness the destruction.

11:104

11:104. According to Our framed laws, they are allowed to function as they wish for a fixed period. That's all. Then they will have to face those consequences. (See 16:61)

Later on, the regime of Allah will be established in this world, the rules and regulations will be as below:

11:105

11:105. At such a time, all events will operate according to the rules of law of Allah. No one can speak against it. He will not be in a position to make laws of his choice as he is now. At that time, the good and the bad will be separated (see 36:59).

11:106

11:106. All the miserable ones will suffer the torments of Hell. The pain and anguish they feel would be overwhelming.

11:107

11:107. And they will all enjoy a life of constant torment. Such rules were created by the one Allah who created the galaxies and the earth. No one can change His Laws. No one will gain the strength to oppose it.

11:108

11:108. On the contrary, the nation which is blessed with the guidance of Allah will be like Paradise. They will live in it continuously until the guidance of Allah is maintained. This is also the plan established by Allah who created the galaxies and the earth. The availability of such a benefit is also based on standard laws.

11:109

11:109. O, Reformist! Do not have any doubts about the adverse effects of the lifestyle they follow. They are following in the footsteps of their forefathers. So there is no doubt that the same destruction that befell the previous communities will befall them. For their part, they too will experience such dreadful pains.

11:110

11:110. We gave Reformist Moosa Nabi a Scripture with similar principles. But in the course of time after the demise of Moosa Nabi, they formed different methods. This is why they still oppose you today. It is Allah's plan to give man the opportunity to repent without punishing him immediately for his wrongdoing. (16:61) Otherwise, their end would have been long before. That is why they too are skeptical of destruction. They think that there won’t be any danger for them.

11:111

11:111. Let there be no doubt that every one of them will receive the consequences of his deeds according to the Pre-Directed Law of Rabbu. There won’t be the slightest injustice in this. Tell them that all their deeds are not unknown to Allah.

11:112

11:112. So, you and those who seek to live with you continue to work for the betterment of the people as per the advice of Allah. Do not underestimate His Laws. Keep in mind that you are all under the watchful eye of Allah.

11:113

11:113. And do not associate with those who engage in anti-social activities. If you act in their favor, you too will suffer greatly. Nothing will help you to recover from those torments except the guidance of Allah. And no one else will come forward to help you.

11:114

11:114. Therefore, to convey the guidance of Allah to the people, you have to establish a Community Center. For this, fix the timing of congregation at dawn and dusk or at nights’ time. Doing creative good deeds according to the advice available through it will get rid of the bad habits that were prevalent in you. So this knowledge is essential for the people of every society who want to live according to Rabbu’s advice.

11:115

11:115. Not only that, but we must continue to work on the implementation of action plans that outlive the guidance of Allah and guide the people. This should not cause dullness in it. Thus, the efforts of those who strive for social harmony will never be in vain.

11:116

11:116. Consider the historical facts told so far. You will understand a fact. That is to say, in the pre-existing societies, there were very few intellectuals who accepted the guidance of Allah and took steps to reform accordingly. (See 11:86) They received protection and help from Allah. They prevented ups and downs in the country. Instead, most of the others who lived there followed leaders who were selfishly engaged in unjust acts. So they too were guilty people.

To this day, when the teachings of the Holy Quran are presented to the people, very few people think about them and come forward to act accordingly. (See 7:3) It is the duty of every one of us to inform Allah’s guidance to the people, regardless of whether they accept it or not. Allah knows best their state of mind. Maybe they can be reformed like the community of Reformist Younus, right?

11:117

11:117. Thus, Allah does not destroy any community while it is reforming and changing. The practical law of Allah is to give them time to change. But if they persist in wrongdoing, the consequences can be devastating. You may be wondering why such a situation takes place in this world. What is the reason for that?

11:118

11:118. Just as He created other living beings to live by force according to their nature, He did not create man to function uniformly on the basis of a particular nature. If man had been created like other creatures, all would have adopted a single way. But since man has been given complete freedom, so much hatred and differences have developed among them.

That is, Allah's plan is to give man complete freedom and to guide him through the Reformists, so that he may think and accept them of his own free will and come forward to live accordingly.

11:119

11:119. Any society that accepts the grace of "the guidance of Allah" and acts accordingly, in that country all hatreds of difference will disappear and become a united society. This is the great grace of Allah. It is for this purpose that Allah created man. (See 51:56). But if any society acts according to its lust without any thought (see 7: 179) it rushes to the side of the torments of Hell. This law set by Rabbu applies equally to all, whether urban or rural. This is the unchanging law of Allah. You have seen for yourself that historical facts suggest the same thing. This will never change.

11:120

11:120. The purpose of recounting the wrongdoings of many societies that have lived before, the disciplinary action taken by the reformist to correct them, and the plight of those who disobeyed him is that your conscience should be enlightened and you should do your best to guide the people accordingly. You will find many lessons and insights in these historical facts. These are also good advice for believers who accept the guidance of Allah.

11:121

11:121. Even after citing so much evidence, if they do not want to follow, tell them, “Act according to your own course. We also act according to the plan of our Allah.”

11:122

11:122. And tell them, “Look at the consequences of what you do. We look forward to the fruits of our efforts.”

11:123

11:123. None of these announcements can come from an individual. It is a word from Allah, the Almighty, Who created the universe and the earth. Who knows every secret that happens in them. Know that every action you take leads to the goal of the consequences he has set. So accept his guidance and live in complete obedience to it. Act with firm conviction on it. Be firm that you will succeed in your life. Also, remember that Allah is not indifferent to what you do otherwise.
