۞بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
PREFACE: People living in a society that does not follow the guidance of Rabbu, - whether their leaders - or religious leaders - all will live based on self-interest. They will be of the opinion that the adoption should retain the positions and status. So they do not have the feeling that the general public is vulnerable. At the same time, when the guidance of Islam prevails for the betterment of mankind as a whole, it affects the people there, especially the leaders. The Quraysh, who were still in power at the time of the revelation of the Quran, are trying to do many tricks to prevent this good governance from developing. This chapter talks about what happened to the leader who was there.
111:1تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ١
111:1. As the Islamic guidance brought by the Reformist prevailed, the strength of Abu Lahab, the leader of the Quraysh, waned. His strength must be diminished.
Because The Islamic guidance is created for the benefit of society as a whole.
111:2مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ٢
111:2. But Abu Lahab continues to use the power of his wealth. So his wealth and possessions are now of no use. (96: 7) (92:11) (69: 27-29)
111:3سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ٣
111:3. He will soon suffer the torment of Hell.
That is, when power and wealth are taken away from someone, there is no limit to the mental anguish that can ensue. That would be worse than hell.
111:4وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ٤
111:4. His wife too in maneuvering against this guidance on her part has been keeping the rumors afloat. She will be trapped in the same hell trap.
111:5فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۢ٥
111:5. You will see for yourself how an arrogant head gets stuck in shame as if one’s head is hung in the ropes.
