Anfal

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)

يَسۡ‍َٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡأَنفَالِۖ قُلِ ٱلۡأَنفَالُ لِلَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَصۡلِحُواْ ذَاتَ بَيۡنِكُمۡۖ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ١

8:1. Generally, when a country defeats the enemy in the war, it will loot the wealth and treasury of the defeated country. Now the question arises as to whom that wealth belongs. Let all know that they should all be used for the Regime of Allah and the Social welfare schemes outlined by the Messenger of Allah on its basis. So, be aware of the repercussions, if anything is done against His Will and reconcile yourselves. If you accept the guidance of Allah, then obey His command and the constitutional norms enacted by the Reformist based on it.

The Islamic regime aims to bring peace and tranquility to the world. Therefore, it is necessary to take action against the oppressed people in the country to stop the injustice. (See 4:75) Warfare is permitted only if there is no other way. (See 22:39) The truth is, war is not about gaining wealth or looting a country. Hence it should be used for the betterment of the people of the defeated country.

إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَجِلَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُهُۥ زَادَتۡهُمۡ إِيمَٰنٗا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ٢

8:2. Whenever the advice of Allah is revealed to the followers, they will listen to it carefully and will be more determined to follow it accordingly. To that extent, they will have complete confidence in the guidance of Allah. They are true followers of Guidance.

ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ٣

8:3. These are the people who establish social systems to bring social harmony by preaching His Guidance to the people and bringing awareness among them. They will also use their wealth for the betterment of society.

If such teachings of the Rabbu are taught to students in schools and colleges, the habit of living according to Rabbu's guidance will develop from an early age.

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ حَقّٗاۚ لَّهُمۡ دَرَجَٰتٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ وَمَغۡفِرَةٞ وَرِزۡقٞ كَرِيمٞ٤

8:4. These are the people who have truly accepted Rabbu's guidance. And they will attain status and high positions from their Rabbu according to their efforts. In addition, security and decent living facilities will be added to their lives.

كَمَآ أَخۡرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنۢ بَيۡتِكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ لَكَٰرِهُونَ٥

8:5. These high positions and status are not the ones to attain easily. For this, you will have to engage in public service and work tirelessly. Sometimes you may have to suffer hardships from a section of people who do not like such reformations.

يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ فِي ٱلۡحَقِّ بَعۡدَ مَا تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّمَا يُسَاقُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَوۡتِ وَهُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ٦

8:6. Even after clarifying Allah’s guidance to them, and some argue with you about it. You will observe the fear of death haunting them and Thus, distracting them from participating in public life.

Moreover, the teachings on warfare were very clear. Its purpose is not to kill the human race or to plunder the country. Instead, they are allowed to fight, if necessary, for the protection of the people on all sides, to eliminate injustice, and to establish a just government. (See 2: 190,22: 39)

وَإِذۡ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ إِحۡدَى ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيۡنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمۡ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيۡرَ ذَاتِ ٱلشَّوۡكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمۡ وَيُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ ٱلۡحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ وَيَقۡطَعَ دَابِرَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ٧

8:7. At one stage, you were at the battlefield and saw two groups of people. One was a traders’ group on travel and the other was a group of armed forces. You wished to fight with unarmed traders as you could easily win. But that is not the plan of Allah. Allah's advice was to drive out the unjust armed forces and establish a just government. Only then you can build a better society. (See 24:55)

لِيُحِقَّ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَيُبۡطِلَ ٱلۡبَٰطِلَ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ٨

8:8. But the perpetrators of the atrocities never liked such war activities. However, it is the Will of Allah that there should be a regime that truly protects the welfare of all the people and removes the evil rule, making fake promises.

إِذۡ تَسۡتَغِيثُونَ رَبَّكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَجَابَ لَكُمۡ أَنِّي مُمِدُّكُم بِأَلۡفٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ مُرۡدِفِينَ٩

8:9. Thus, when you asked your Rabbu for help to win the battle to establish righteousness, the message from Him that you have a strength of thousand powerful traces of war, (see 3:125) why should you be afraid? Thus, they were encouraged and assured of success in the war.

وَمَا جَعَلَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشۡرَىٰ وَلِتَطۡمَئِنَّ بِهِۦ قُلُوبُكُمۡۚ وَمَا ٱلنَّصۡرُ إِلَّا مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ١٠

8:10. These inspiring words of Allah are for you to have peace of mind and courage. Otherwise, the aids to success are available only through the arrangement made by Allah. (See also 3: 126, 8: 12 & 41: 30) Surely the guidance of Allah is clear and wise in all things.

إِذۡ يُغَشِّيكُمُ ٱلنُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةٗ مِّنۡهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيۡكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِۦ وَيُذۡهِبَ عَنكُمۡ رِجۡزَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ وَلِيَرۡبِطَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمۡ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ ٱلۡأَقۡدَامَ١١

8:11. Thus, your mind was calmed and you were able to remain peacefully. And the rainfall that occurred at that time in that desert forest helped you all to take bath and to meet water scarcity. The fear of the enemy also mitigated, and you also got water to drink. Thus, the natural forces helped you all to refresh and to withstand with full power and fight. Thus, these provisions of Allah stood by you.

إِذۡ يُوحِي رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ أَنِّي مَعَكُمۡ فَثَبِّتُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْۚ سَأُلۡقِي فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلرُّعۡبَ فَٱضۡرِبُواْ فَوۡقَ ٱلۡأَعۡنَاقِ وَٱضۡرِبُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ كُلَّ بَنَانٖ١٢

8:12. Allah’s message through His natural forces informed, “Surely, I am with you. So, strengthen the hearts of the followers. This will cause terror in the minds of the unjust soldiers who gathered against the Regime of Rabbu.” The message also informed the Islamic soldiers to cut off the means from where the enemy gets strengths.

That is, if the food materials are blocked, their strength will decline. And if their arsenals are uprooted, their minds will be horrified. Thus, the Rabbu's advice is that they may surrender. Not killing and amassing enemies.

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ شَآقُّواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥۚ وَمَن يُشَاقِقِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ١٣

8:13. This is because their activities were against the guidance of Allah and the regime created by the Reformist based on it. So, whoever acts in this way against His guidance and the regime that will be formed on its basis, will receive severe punishment from Allah.

ذَٰلِكُمۡ فَذُوقُوهُ وَأَنَّ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ١٤

8:14. These are all not mere words. So, for those who act against the guidance of Rabbu, the torment of Hell will be inevitable.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا لَقِيتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ زَحۡفٗا فَلَا تُوَلُّوهُمُ ٱلۡأَدۡبَارَ١٥

8:15. O followers of Allah’s guidance! When you clash with enemies in the battle, do not retreat and run away from the war front.

وَمَن يُوَلِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ دُبُرَهُۥٓ إِلَّا مُتَحَرِّفٗا لِّقِتَالٍ أَوۡ مُتَحَيِّزًا إِلَىٰ فِئَةٖ فَقَدۡ بَآءَ بِغَضَبٖ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ١٦

8:16. Sneaking or moving back with plans to attack the enemy is another matter. Fleeing from the war-front is a different matter. Those who turn their backs and flee will be punished by Allah. They will be thrown into painful places like prisons. Their shelter will be very bad.

فَلَمۡ تَقۡتُلُوهُمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَتَلَهُمۡۚ وَمَا رَمَيۡتَ إِذۡ رَمَيۡتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَمَىٰ وَلِيُبۡلِيَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ مِنۡهُ بَلَآءً حَسَنًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٞ١٧

8:17. And be informed that you did not kill the enemies yourself. By shooting the arrows as per the provisions of Allah, you were able to kill them easily. It was by this arrangement of Allah that you defeated the enemy. So, these arrangements were made to test the extent to which you are engaging in Allah's program. Is it not clear from this that the power to hear everything and the infinite wisdom belongs to Allah?

So, if you follow his guidance, you will gain knowledge and efficiency.

ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُوهِنُ كَيۡدِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ١٨

8:18. In this way, the conspiracies of those who act against the regime of Allah must be thwarted and humiliated. And to weaken their strength.

Those who acted against the guidance of Rabbu were obstructing the performing of Rabbu’s plans. So they were forced to weed. The followers were expecting that only by succeeding in this, they would be able to perform good deeds without hindrance. (See 48: 1-2)

إِن تَسۡتَفۡتِحُواْ فَقَدۡ جَآءَكُمُ ٱلۡفَتۡحُۖ وَإِن تَنتَهُواْ فَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡۖ وَإِن تَعُودُواْ نَعُدۡ وَلَن تُغۡنِيَ عَنكُمۡ فِئَتُكُمۡ شَيۡ‍ٔٗا وَلَوۡ كَثُرَتۡ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ١٩

8:19. As such you got success in the war. Warn your opponents, “You abstain from wrongdoing. It will be good for you. Otherwise, we will retaliate if you continue with wrongdoing. No matter how big your force is. It will not bring you any success. Because the help of Allah will be on the side of those who accept the guidance and act accordingly.”

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَلَا تَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ وَأَنتُمۡ تَسۡمَعُونَ٢٠

8:20. O followers of Rabbu's guidance! Don’t be under the impression that you have won the battle and so your mission is over. You may have to strive for the betterment of the Society as per the guidance of Allah and the constitutional laws based on it. You have already heard and known about this well.

وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ قَالُواْ سَمِعۡنَا وَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ٢١

8:21. Don’t be like those who, without listening to the guidance properly, simply say that they have heard them and later on, be negligent in performing. Do not become like those who are indifferent in listening.

۞إِنَّ شَرَّ ٱلدَّوَآبِّ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلصُّمُّ ٱلۡبُكۡمُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ٢٢

8:22. You just have to be more vigilant in serving the people. The deaf and dumb who do not know anything are like the most disgusting creatures in the sight of Allah.

وَلَوۡ عَلِمَ ٱللَّهُ فِيهِمۡ خَيۡرٗا لَّأَسۡمَعَهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ أَسۡمَعَهُمۡ لَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُم مُّعۡرِضُونَ٢٣

8:23. Even if they had a little bit of the power of hearing, they could have understood the advices of Allah. But they do not have that energy at all. Beyond that, even if you force them to listen, they will still ignore your advice.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱسۡتَجِيبُواْ لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمۡ لِمَا يُحۡيِيكُمۡۖ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَرۡءِ وَقَلۡبِهِۦ وَأَنَّهُۥٓ إِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ٢٤

8:24. O followers of Rabbu's guidance! If the Reformist invites you towards the project that will refresh your life, hasten to go to him. Know that the guidance of Allah is truly penetrating human minds and hearts. Just know that you all have time to face the consequences of all your activities.

The phrase in this text reads, “If you are invited for the life-giving matters” That does not mean that all are dead. On the contrary, calling those who live as corpses without any capability. It means that if you are called towards a good energetic meaningful life, listen to it and go to him immediately. And in this verse, it is also mentioned as “Allah comes to dominate between man and his soul”. That is, one should accept Allah alone and come forward to act boldly by removing the veil of reluctance. Because in the end, everyone has to answer to Allah for what he has been doing.

وَٱتَّقُواْ فِتۡنَةٗ لَّا تُصِيبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنكُمۡ خَآصَّةٗۖ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ٢٥

8:25. Beyond that, if you do not come forward to fulfill Allah's plans, then fear the punishment framed by Allah. This is because not only those who refuse to accept the guidance of Allah and do injustice are guilty but also those who do not fulfill the duties prescribed by Allah are also guilty. So, act in the way Allah has shown to you, keeping in mind the severe punishment.

وَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ إِذۡ أَنتُمۡ قَلِيلٞ مُّسۡتَضۡعَفُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تَخَافُونَ أَن يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ ٱلنَّاسُ فَ‍َٔاوَىٰكُمۡ وَأَيَّدَكُم بِنَصۡرِهِۦ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ٢٦

8:26. When you were in Makkah at one stage, you were very low and weak in numbers. You were afraid that at any moment you would be in danger. You were in such a dangerous situation and ways became conducive to go to Medina and function better. There you gained strength by getting the support and help of the people as per the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah. Also, you got high-quality food items and living facilities. Keep all of this in mind and show faithfulness in your activities.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَخُونُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوٓاْ أَمَٰنَٰتِكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ٢٧

8:27. O followers of Allah’s guidance! Do not indulge in any activity against the regime which has been created according to the plan of Allah. And do not fail to fulfill the duties entrusted to you by the regime. You know the consequences of doing so.

وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَآ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَأَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡ فِتۡنَةٞ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٞ٢٨

8:28. When you are engaged in performing your duties, your children and the desire of accumulating wealth will be obstacles in fulfilling your duties. These gains, which may be easily available, will later become a major problem in society. So do not allow such thoughts to haunt you in the interest of society. Know that the rewards that come from the regime of Rabbu for good performance are enormous.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن تَتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ فُرۡقَانٗا وَيُكَفِّرۡ عَنكُمۡ سَيِّ‍َٔاتِكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ٢٩

8:29. O followers of Allah’s guidance! Guidelines that differentiate between good and evil from Allah will be useful only if you realize the consequences of acting contrary to His advice and behave with fear. So in due course, you will get the ways to live safely and keep away from wrongdoing. Indeed, the guidance of Allah is a great blessing.

وَإِذۡ يَمۡكُرُ بِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِيُثۡبِتُوكَ أَوۡ يَقۡتُلُوكَ أَوۡ يُخۡرِجُوكَۚ وَيَمۡكُرُونَ وَيَمۡكُرُ ٱللَّهُۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡمَٰكِرِينَ٣٠

8:30. O Messenger of Allah! Recall the time when many of your opponents planned to imprison you, kill you, or deport you. They had been intimately planning many maneuvers. There were secret plans from Allah to thwart their conspiracies. In the end, you got protection according to Allah's plan. The plans of Allah are the highest of all plans.

Every reformist explained to his community the dire consequences of their wrongdoing. They also submitted historical evidence to their claim. Similarly, Muhammad Nabisal also presented historical sources to the people. They listened to them and ignored them saying that they were all just stories.

وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالُواْ قَدۡ سَمِعۡنَا لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَقُلۡنَا مِثۡلَ هَٰذَآ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ٣١

8:31. And when people are informed about the guidance of Rabbu and the historical evidence related to it, they say, “We have heard such stories many times before. We too can tell stories like this. All these are nothing but the fables of the ancients.”

وَإِذۡ قَالُواْ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِن كَانَ هَٰذَا هُوَ ٱلۡحَقَّ مِنۡ عِندِكَ فَأَمۡطِرۡ عَلَيۡنَا حِجَارَةٗ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَوِ ٱئۡتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ٣٢

8:32. And they said, “O, Allah! If there is any truth in Your statement that the torments will befall us, then shower hail from the sky upon us. Or send us a painful torment.”

As has already been stated many times, it is the grace of Rabbu to give every community the opportunity to rectify themselves,

وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمۡ وَأَنتَ فِيهِمۡۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ يَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَ٣٣

8:33. The torments of Allah are not likely to come to them when you and your guidance are with them. And while many of them are rectifying sinful acts and returning to a life of safety, it is not in the plan of Allah to torment them.

But now they have expelled Muhammad NabiSal and his followers from the city. They do not take proper care of law and order. Therefore,

وَمَا لَهُمۡ أَلَّا يُعَذِّبَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَهُمۡ يَصُدُّونَ عَنِ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ وَمَا كَانُوٓاْ أَوۡلِيَآءَهُۥٓۚ إِنۡ أَوۡلِيَآؤُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ٣٤

8:34. Now, what is there to prevent them from being destroyed as per the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah? They prevented reformists from rendering services to the people from the House of Common called “Ka’ba”. They also do not properly care for its administrative responsibility. Only those who perform well in the fear of Allah can be the administrators of that House. Many who are currently in charge of the administration do not know what the purpose of the establishment of the Ka’ba was.

وَمَا كَانَ صَلَاتُهُمۡ عِندَ ٱلۡبَيۡتِ إِلَّا مُكَآءٗ وَتَصۡدِيَةٗۚ فَذُوقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ٣٥

8:35. What is happening there now? It's just singing songs, whistling, and clapping. This is their “Salath”. What else is going on than this? So, the anticipated destructions to those who act against the guidance of Allah are approaching them. They must have to taste it.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡ لِيَصُدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَسَيُنفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَسۡرَةٗ ثُمَّ يُغۡلَبُونَۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ يُحۡشَرُونَ٣٦

8:36. Now they are spending their wealth to prevent the formation of the regime of Allah and try to disconnect the people from it. For this, they will continue to spend. Their endeavor will fail and they will face mental agony for themselves. They will never succeed in it. Eventually, they will all be thrown into the tormenting hell of destruction.

لِيَمِيزَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخَبِيثَ مِنَ ٱلطَّيِّبِ وَيَجۡعَلَ ٱلۡخَبِيثَ بَعۡضَهُۥ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ فَيَرۡكُمَهُۥ جَمِيعٗا فَيَجۡعَلَهُۥ فِي جَهَنَّمَۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ٣٧

8:37. Thus, those who are on the path of destruction against the rule of Rabbu are separated from those who accept Rabbu's guidance and act creatively. And all those who go astray are trying to prevent the formation of the rule of Allah. But they will all fail in their endeavor and end up in the abyss of destruction. Such are the losers.

قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِن يَنتَهُواْ يُغۡفَرۡ لَهُم مَّا قَدۡ سَلَفَ وَإِن يَعُودُواْ فَقَدۡ مَضَتۡ سُنَّتُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ٣٨

8:38. O, Reformist! Make a public announcement, “O my people! Still, you have the opportunity to stay away from sinful acts. If you do, you will be protected from the retribution of your past wrongdoing. If you continue in the act of despair, you will surely be destroyed.”

وَقَٰتِلُوهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ لَا تَكُونَ فِتۡنَةٞ وَيَكُونَ ٱلدِّينُ كُلُّهُۥ لِلَّهِۚ فَإِنِ ٱنتَهَوۡاْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٞ٣٩

8:39. Thus, this cold war will continue until the anti-social forces are completely defeated and the conditions for better performance as per Allah's constitutional agenda are carried on. Leave them, if they turn away from their anti-social activities. But tell them that the system of Allah is watching over their every action.

وَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَوۡلَىٰكُمۡۚ نِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَوۡلَىٰ وَنِعۡمَ ٱلنَّصِيرُ٤٠

8:40. So even after this announcement, if they engage in anti-social activities, Allah's regime will take appropriate action against them and protect the welfare of the public. Thus, the rule of Allah will work better with a concern to protect and help all people.

As already stated at the beginning of this chapter, the question of victory items available in battle is raised again. Inform rules decisively about it.

Part: 10

۞وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَا غَنِمۡتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُۥ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

8:41. One-fifth of the surplus wealth available in the treasury will go to the regime of Allah. The rest will be used to safeguard the welfare of vulnerable people living in that country. It will be used for the rehabilitation of families of war veterans, those who extended support during emergent situations, and the disabled.

إِن كُنتُمۡ ءَامَنتُم بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِنَا يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفُرۡقَانِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡتَقَى ٱلۡجَمۡعَانِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ٤١

Lack of access to this wealth may cause moral embarrassment to some of you. But if you truly have faith in Allah’s Schemes, you will avoid these things. You also saw how Allah's help was received during the recent Battle of Badr. Likewise, do not be in doubt that you will not have the means of living from Allah. Thus, you know that the schemes are fixed to draw on each subject. Verily Allah has control over every aspect of the life of the people.

إِذۡ أَنتُم بِٱلۡعُدۡوَةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَهُم بِٱلۡعُدۡوَةِ ٱلۡقُصۡوَىٰ وَٱلرَّكۡبُ أَسۡفَلَ مِنكُمۡۚ وَلَوۡ تَوَاعَدتُّمۡ لَٱخۡتَلَفۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡمِيعَٰدِ وَلَٰكِن لِّيَقۡضِيَ ٱللَّهُ أَمۡرٗا كَانَ مَفۡعُولٗا

8:42. At the top of the valley of Madinah on the Badr battlefield, the enemy forces were far away from you, and the business crowd was at the bottom, closer to you. And the place and time of engaging in the war had already been decided. However, there was a difference of opinion among you about whom they should clash with and when. It was the intention of Allah that they should not clash with the merchants’ crowd, but with the soldiers of the opposing team. So, there is no use in destroying traders. But if they clash with the forces of the enemy and succeed, it will create a smooth atmosphere in society. (See 8: 7-8)

لِّيَهۡلِكَ مَنۡ هَلَكَ عَنۢ بَيِّنَةٖ وَيَحۡيَىٰ مَنۡ حَيَّ عَنۢ بَيِّنَةٖۗ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَسَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ٤٢

The Law of Allah declares that those who perish must perish after fully knowing the reasons for their destruction and that the survivors should fully know about how they could survive in this world. Know that Allah has the power to hear and to know everything in the world one at a time.

That means no one should be destroyed for no reason. And it is the will of Allah to know how to live and to live better in this world. For example, how can it be fair, if those merchants are attacked? What sin did they commit? At the same time, the enemies prevented Allah's plans from being fulfilled. So how can they move forward in their project, if they are left without attacking and defeating .?

إِذۡ يُرِيكَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِي مَنَامِكَ قَلِيلٗاۖ وَلَوۡ أَرَىٰكَهُمۡ كَثِيرٗا لَّفَشِلۡتُمۡ وَلَتَنَٰزَعۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡرِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَلَّمَۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ٤٣

8:43. And even though the number of the enemy forces was high, you had the courage in your mind that they were in very small numbers and could easily defeat them. If you had thought that they were outnumbered, you would have lost your temper and reasoning on the field. Remember that you got this mental strength from Allah’s guidance. So there was no such hesitation. You went down to the field and won. Know that Allah has the power to know the thoughts running in the human mind.

وَإِذۡ يُرِيكُمُوهُمۡ إِذِ ٱلۡتَقَيۡتُمۡ فِيٓ أَعۡيُنِكُمۡ قَلِيلٗا وَيُقَلِّلُكُمۡ فِيٓ أَعۡيُنِهِمۡ لِيَقۡضِيَ ٱللَّهُ أَمۡرٗا كَانَ مَفۡعُولٗاۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ٤٤

8:44. As such when you met them on the field, you fought full range, thinking that their numbers were too small because of the courage you had. At the same time, the opponents saw that your creativity was limited in number and they left with indifference. So, they failed. This is the law of Allah. Victory or defeat in war or any other act, can only be accomplished, if it is done according to Allah's plan.

That is, even though they were very few in number, the believers fought for global peace and a just social order. So, they were full of enthusiasm, dynamism, and wisdom because they were on the right path. So, they succeeded. So it is clear from this that one can create records of achievements in the world, only if he gets down to the task of fulfilling the plans of Allah as a courageous companion. (See also 2: 249)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا لَقِيتُمۡ فِئَةٗ فَٱثۡبُتُواْ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ٤٥

8:45. O followers of Allah’s guidance! When you encounter enemies on the battlefield, fight with determination. Always keep in mind the advice of Allah and act accordingly. Only then will you succeed in your goal.

وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَلَا تَنَٰزَعُواْ فَتَفۡشَلُواْ وَتَذۡهَبَ رِيحُكُمۡۖ وَٱصۡبِرُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ٤٦

8:46. And in the warfare, when Allah and His Messenger, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, proclaim orders from time to time, act accordingly. Do not disagree with that. If you do so with disagreement, you will lose your courage and your strength will vanish. Stand firm and fight tirelessly to carry out the command that is given to you. Surely the help of Allah is available to those who venture together in this way.

وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ خَرَجُواْ مِن دِيَٰرِهِم بَطَرٗا وَرِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ مُحِيطٞ٤٧

8:47. Do not be like those who are engaged in public life for the sake of pride, with the intention to expose to the people as martyrs and who are malicious against Allah's plans. Remember that Allah knows all their deeds.

وَإِذۡ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ وَقَالَ لَا غَالِبَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَإِنِّي جَارٞ لَّكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّا تَرَآءَتِ ٱلۡفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيۡهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّنكُمۡ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰ مَا لَا تَرَوۡنَ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَۚ وَٱللَّهُ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ٤٨

8:48. All misdeeds, which were corrupting the society appeared to them as their beautiful deeds and they were giving the assurance to their soldiers that no one could shake them ever and that they would support them at times of dangers, if any. But during war times, they fled away from these forces of wrongdoers and said, “Are you sure that you will succeed? No. You will be defeated. It seems clearly that we are failing unexpectedly.” They also said that they are afraid of Allah. What good is it if they are afraid? Those anti-social elements will then come to know about how severe the punishments of Allah are.

إِذۡ يَقُولُ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ غَرَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ دِينُهُمۡۗ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ٤٩

8:49. And there were some traitors who did not take part in the war due to fear of their lives. They looked at their warriors and said, “Their religion has seduced and deceived them.” The reason for this was that they were under the impression that the Islamic forces being very small in number, would never have a chance to defeat the strong forces. But the Islamic forces with the guidance of Allah fought with determination and so they were victorious. This victory astounded the hypocrites. Let them know that the power of Allah and the admonitions of wisdom are beyond all comprehension.

وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ٥٠

8:50. O followers of Rabbu's guidance! If you have the power to see these hypocrites at the moment of their death, you will see the universal forces (Malaika), striking at their faces and backs and telling them to taste the tormenting hell.

Only those who experience death can feel these pains, and others cannot see or feel them. Therefore, this passage speaks about the torment that befalls hypocrites.

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيكُمۡ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيۡسَ بِظَلَّٰمٖ لِّلۡعَبِيدِ٥١

8:51. These punishments are not due to hatred towards them. But they are the result of their prolonged misdeeds. Otherwise, no injustice will be done to anyone by Allah.

كَدَأۡبِ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَفَرُواْ بِ‍َٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِيّٞ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ٥٢

8:52. A similar situation occurred to the soldiers of Fir’aun and those who lived before them. When the authentic guidance of Allah was revealed to them, they refused to accept them and continued to engage in sinful acts. So, they fell into the clutches of the “Ultimate consequence of human action” framed by Allah. They realized that the punishment of Allah was severe and mighty.

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَمۡ يَكُ مُغَيِّرٗا نِّعۡمَةً أَنۡعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٞ٥٣

8:53. Whichever community of the world it be, Allah never diminishes the blessings bestowed upon them. As long as they live under the guidance of Allah, those exgratia will continue to be available to them. But if they change their course, their capabilities will gradually diminish and they will lose the opportunity to receive the favors of Allah. Know that Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

This is the standard law of Allah as long as the world lasts. (See also 13:11)

كَدَأۡبِ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَذَّبُواْ بِ‍َٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَأَغۡرَقۡنَآ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ وَكُلّٞ كَانُواْ ظَٰلِمِينَ٥٤

8:54. A similar situation occurred with the people of Fir’aun and those who lived before him. They followed the wrong way. The Reformists came to guide them. But they refused to obey Rabbu's counsel and did not forsake sinful acts. As a result, they were doomed by the command of Allah. Similarly, in the time of Reformist Moosa Nabi, when Fir’aun’s army crossed the river, they were swept away by the gushing floods. Because they were so evil. (See 7: 136)

إِنَّ شَرَّ ٱلدَّوَآبِّ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ٥٥

8:55. So, the worst among the creations of Allah are those who act against His guidance. And they are the ones who refuse to accept His advice.

ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتَّ مِنۡهُمۡ ثُمَّ يَنقُضُونَ عَهۡدَهُمۡ فِي كُلِّ مَرَّةٖ وَهُمۡ لَا يَتَّقُونَ٥٦

8:56. If you look at their public life, they never fulfill the promises they made to the people. They have breached each of their promises given to Allah. Despite the admonitions about the consequences of “the ultimate result of human actions”, they were never worried.

فَإِمَّا تَثۡقَفَنَّهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَرۡبِ فَشَرِّدۡ بِهِم مَّنۡ خَلۡفَهُمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَذَّكَّرُونَ٥٧

8:57. So, if you are to fight with them, wait for the proper moment and attack them with full force so that they scatter and flee in fear. Only then will it be a lesson to them.

وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِن قَوۡمٍ خِيَانَةٗ فَٱنۢبِذۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡخَآئِنِينَ٥٨

8:58. If the opponents, after entering into a cease-fire agreement violate it, you can retaliate against them to the same extent. There is nothing wrong with you violating the agreement you made with them. This is because Allah never loves those who betray the faith.

وَلَا يَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَبَقُوٓاْۚ إِنَّهُمۡ لَا يُعۡجِزُونَ٥٩

8:59. On having entered into a ceasefire agreement with the regime, let the opponent not think that they have escaped from the defeat. The soldiers who defend the regime created to uphold sovereignty can never be defeated. (See 4:76)

وَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم مِّن قُوَّةٖ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ ٱلۡخَيۡلِ تُرۡهِبُونَ بِهِۦ عَدُوَّ ٱللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمۡ وَءَاخَرِينَ مِن دُونِهِمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُهُمۡۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَيۡءٖ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيۡكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تُظۡلَمُونَ٦٠

8:60. And strengthen your security forces to fight the enemy. Train them well and have skilled horses ready. Thus, keep all the necessities of battle and trained soldiers ready. This can frighten those who act against the rule of Allah and your enemies. Not only that but it can also scare aliens about whom you don’t know. No matter how much you spend on this, its rewards will come back to you in full. Not the slightest injustice will be done to it. It is a word from Allah.

۞وَإِن جَنَحُواْ لِلسَّلۡمِ فَٱجۡنَحۡ لَهَا وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ٦١

8:61. And if the adversary agrees with you to make peace, make an agreement as you see fit. So, in every matter act with full confidence in the guidance of Allah and act accordingly. Surely the hearing power of Allah and the power of knowing every one of them is infinite.

وَإِن يُرِيدُوٓاْ أَن يَخۡدَعُوكَ فَإِنَّ حَسۡبَكَ ٱللَّهُۚ هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَيَّدَكَ بِنَصۡرِهِۦ وَبِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ٦٢

8:62. Even if they make a ceasefire agreement to deceive you, the regime of Allah will continue to watch over them. They can be easily identified with the help of the social activists of the regime.

وَأَلَّفَ بَيۡنَ قُلُوبِهِمۡۚ لَوۡ أَنفَقۡتَ مَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا مَّآ أَلَّفۡتَ بَيۡنَ قُلُوبِهِمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ٦٣

8:63. Because there will be affection and co-operation in all activities among the social activist, who accept and follow Allah’s guidance. Even if all the wealth in the world were spent, such an affectionate bond could not be formed among them. But the guidance of Allah ensures such affection. This great provision of Allah is all-encompassing and all-wise.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ حَسۡبُكَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ٦٤

8:64. O, Reformist! The guidance of Allah is sufficient for you and for the social activists who follow you to maintain social harmony in the world.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ حَرِّضِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ عَلَى ٱلۡقِتَالِۚ إِن يَكُن مِّنكُمۡ عِشۡرُونَ صَٰبِرُونَ يَغۡلِبُواْ مِاْئَتَيۡنِۚ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّاْئَةٞ يَغۡلِبُوٓاْ أَلۡفٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يَفۡقَهُونَ٦٥

8:65. O, Reformist! Give all the training related to war to the social activists who follow you and remove the shortcomings in them. If there are twenty talented people with such training, they can control two hundred people. And if there are a hundred of you like this, they can control a thousand anti-social men. Because those who fight against the followers of guidance do not have any concrete planning and act with foresight. Just like ignorant people acting at emotional speed.

ٱلۡـَٰٔنَ خَفَّفَ ٱللَّهُ عَنكُمۡ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمۡ ضَعۡفٗاۚ فَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّاْئَةٞ صَابِرَةٞ يَغۡلِبُواْ مِاْئَتَيۡنِۚ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُمۡ أَلۡفٞ يَغۡلِبُوٓاْ أَلۡفَيۡنِ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ٦٦

8:66. But there are some shortcomings and weaknesses among the followers at present. So, controlling ten people to one is not possible now. And at present, you have very little arms and ammunition. It is therefore predicted rate of ten to one can be reduced to two per person. So, if there are a hundred activists at present, they can only control two hundred. If there are a thousand of you like this, they can bind two thousand as per the framed laws of Allah. The truth is that the help and love of Allah will be with the soldiers who persevere in their agenda and act boldly.

مَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥٓ أَسۡرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثۡخِنَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ٦٧

8:67. And it is not right to wage war with the idea to capture as much land as possible allowing the enemies caught free, keep them under bargain, and gain wealth out of it. Because the purpose of war is to suppress anti-social forces and make a better regime flourish. Some of you may have the desire to seek temporary gains. But Allah's plan seeks to act with temporary benefits as well as future sustainable benefits. Thus, every guidance of Allah is based on wisdom.

That is, if social enemies are left to move freely in society, the activists cannot properly implement welfare schemes. They will prevent public welfare schemes from reaching the people at every stage. So they have to be suppressed so that they cannot do any harm to the government. Only then will it help to create better governance and society.

لَّوۡلَا كِتَٰبٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ سَبَقَ لَمَسَّكُمۡ فِيمَآ أَخَذۡتُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ٦٨

8:68. Before this, some of you earned wealth like this and freed the enemy. Initially, however, the law of Allah did not exaggerate this. Otherwise, if Allah had punished them immediately, they would have been in great torment. (16:61)

فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا غَنِمۡتُمۡ حَلَٰلٗا طَيِّبٗاۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ٦٩

8:69. On the contrary, after winning the battle, the law of Allah permits you to use the wealth available in the enemy country in a just manner (as stated in 8:41). Fear the consequences of disobeying the command of Allah. Let no one doubt that the guidance of Allah is for the safety of all of you. This is the great grace of Allah.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ قُل لِّمَن فِيٓ أَيۡدِيكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَسۡرَىٰٓ إِن يَعۡلَمِ ٱللَّهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمۡ خَيۡرٗا يُؤۡتِكُمۡ خَيۡرٗا مِّمَّآ أُخِذَ مِنكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ٧٠

8:70. O, Reformist! Send a message to the prisoners of war, “If you have a desire to do constructive good deeds, you will get the return from the government more than what you received before and will do all the security arrangements for you. Thus, those who turn away from evil deeds and do good deeds will surely find protection and mercy from Allah.”

وَإِن يُرِيدُواْ خِيَانَتَكَ فَقَدۡ خَانُواْ ٱللَّهَ مِن قَبۡلُ فَأَمۡكَنَ مِنۡهُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ٧١

8:71. O, Reformist! If they have the intention of betraying the faith against your rule, then the law of Allah and the social activists are sufficient to identify them. Even before, when they were involved in fraudulent activities, you were able to capture them with the strong security arrangements you had. Still, catching them is not a difficult task. The government of Allah has the power to know all things.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَهَاجَرُواْ وَجَٰهَدُواْ بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاوَواْ وَّنَصَرُوٓاْ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٖۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَلَمۡ يُهَاجِرُواْ مَا لَكُم مِّن وَلَٰيَتِهِم مِّن شَيۡءٍ حَتَّىٰ يُهَاجِرُواْۚ

8:72. Those who have left their hometowns as per Allah's guidance, engage in public life, have devoted their wealth and efforts for the betterment of society according to Allah's plans, those who have provided shelter, supported, and helped social activists are close allies of one another. But this regime does not take responsibility for those who give importance to the safety of their own family and stay at home for no good reason. But the matter of the old aged and the young ones is different. (See 4:75)

وَإِنِ ٱسۡتَنصَرُوكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ فَعَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلنَّصۡرُ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِۢ بَيۡنَكُمۡ وَبَيۡنَهُم مِّيثَٰقٞۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٞ٧٢

However, it is your duty to help them as per rule, if they come to you for help. At the same time, these aids should not be used against the community you have agreed to. Remember that everything you do will never escape from the watchful eye of Allah.

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٍۚ إِلَّا تَفۡعَلُوهُ تَكُن فِتۡنَةٞ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَفَسَادٞ كَبِيرٞ٧٣

8:73. And there will be teamwork among the social enemies, just as among the social welfare activists. So if you do not fulfill the obligations given to you to suppress them, chaos and riots in society will increase.

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَهَاجَرُواْ وَجَٰهَدُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاوَواْ وَّنَصَرُوٓاْ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ حَقّٗاۚ لَّهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَرِزۡقٞ كَرِيمٞ٧٤

8:74. That is why the true followers are those who accept the guidance of Allah, work tirelessly to dedicate their homes and lands for the betterment of the community, and to provide shelter and assistance to such people. The rule of Allah will ensure that such people have access to all security facilities and decent living conditions.

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدُ وَهَاجَرُواْ وَجَٰهَدُواْ مَعَكُمۡ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ مِنكُمۡۚ وَأُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَرۡحَامِ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلَىٰ بِبَعۡضٖ فِي كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمُۢ٧٥

8:75. Those who accept the guidance of Allah and dedicate themselves to the fulfillment of their tasks and work with you for the betterment of the community are also yours. They are your close relatives according to the Scripture of Allah. Thus the Regime of Allah takes care of everything.
