Touba

بَرَآءَةٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ١

9:1. Know all by this announcement that the agreement of social reconciliation made with those Mushriks who follow other means equal to Allah has expired. This constitution of Allah will no longer validate that agreement.

Because they did not keep up with the terms of the agreement they had made (see 9: 4) they would not act contrary to the development plans of the common man and the rule of Allah.

فَسِيحُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَرۡبَعَةَ أَشۡهُرٖ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّكُمۡ غَيۡرُ مُعۡجِزِي ٱللَّهِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡزِي ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ٢

9:2. The announcement further stated, “So you can stay in this country for four months from today. You come to a conclusion within this time frame. If you want to live under this constitution, you can stay here permanently. If you think you can deviate from it and make this regime fail, it will be proved to be wrong. Know that in the end you will fail and be humiliated. ”

وَأَذَٰنٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحَجِّ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرِ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَرِيٓءٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ وَرَسُولُهُۥۚ فَإِن تُبۡتُمۡ فَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡۖ وَإِن تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّكُمۡ غَيۡرُ مُعۡجِزِي ٱللَّهِۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ٣

9:3. On the grand day of Hajj, make this announcement openly about the expiration of the covenant made by Allah and His Messenger with the Mushriks. “If you refrain from anti-social activities, it is in your best interest. But if you ignore this announcement and continue to commit anti-social acts, be prepared to fight against this government. Then know that you can never defeat this state. And let them know that those who engage in anti-social activities will be severely punished.”

Dear Intellectuals! Did you notice how Muhammad Nabi(Sal) declares world affairs on behalf of that state during the Hajj? Therefore, the United Nations Organization was established only to solve the problems of the people of the world. (See 3:97)

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَنقُصُوكُمۡ شَيۡ‍ٔٗا وَلَمۡ يُظَٰهِرُواْ عَلَيۡكُمۡ أَحَدٗا فَأَتِمُّوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِمۡ عَهۡدَهُمۡ إِلَىٰ مُدَّتِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ٤

9:4. But some of the “idolaters” are living according to that agreement without any fault. And they do not engage in anti-people activities. This deadline does not apply to such persons. They can stay here generously. We will wait until this deadline for those who engage in anti-social activities other than them. Surely those who live in obedience to the law of Allah have full support.

فَإِذَا ٱنسَلَخَ ٱلۡأَشۡهُرُ ٱلۡحُرُمُ فَٱقۡتُلُواْ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ حَيۡثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمۡ وَخُذُوهُمۡ وَٱحۡصُرُوهُمۡ وَٱقۡعُدُواْ لَهُمۡ كُلَّ مَرۡصَدٖۚ

9:5. Strict action will be taken against the “idolaters” if they are found to continue their anti-social activities even after the expiry of this four-month deadline. If they betray the implementation of the plans of this government, they will be killed on the spot. Or they will be caught and imprisoned. Their hideouts will be besieged and their activities will be closely watched.

فَإِن تَابُواْ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَوُاْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ فَخَلُّواْ سَبِيلَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ٥

But if they have vowed to give up their wrongdoings, act according to the guidance, and accept to pay the taxes prescribed by the government, then allow them to live. Of course, the laws of Allah are determined considering the protection of people from all walks of life. This is the greatest grace of Allah.

وَإِنۡ أَحَدٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ ٱسۡتَجَارَكَ فَأَجِرۡهُ حَتَّىٰ يَسۡمَعَ كَلَٰمَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ أَبۡلِغۡهُ مَأۡمَنَهُۥۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يَعۡلَمُونَ٦

9:6. If any of the “idolaters” seek refuge with you after this deadline, provide them protection and save them from danger. At the same time, explain to them the benefits of living according to Allah's guidance. Even after that, if they want to move to other places, send them safely. That means making travel arrangements for them to go safely. Because most of them are laypeople who know nothing.

Dear Intellectuals! Did you notice? They are not told to kill or humiliate because they are Mushriks who do not accept Allah. The order is issued to kill only those who are engaged in anti-social activity. That too is not a power given to any individual but the state. Also, note the extent to which those seeking safety are advised to behave diligently.

كَيۡفَ يَكُونُ لِلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ عَهۡدٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ رَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتُّمۡ عِندَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِۖ فَمَا ٱسۡتَقَٰمُواْ لَكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَقِيمُواْ لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ٧

9:7. When these idolaters often violate the agreement made by them with the regime of Allah, how can it be considered in force? Only the agreement you have made regarding the House of Common, Masjid al-Haram is followed by them. As long as they are stable in following rules and regulations, you can be liberal with them. If they are abusive there too, take action against them. The warmth of Allah is available only to those who follow the guidance of Rabbu.

كَيۡفَ وَإِن يَظۡهَرُواْ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَا يَرۡقُبُواْ فِيكُمۡ إِلّٗا وَلَا ذِمَّةٗۚ يُرۡضُونَكُم بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَتَأۡبَىٰ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ فَٰسِقُونَ٨

9:8. And perhaps, if they had attained the power to control you, they would have thrown away the agreement they made, severed ties with you, and caused you much crisis. They pretend to be nice just to satisfy you. But in their hearts is a bitter hatred. Thus most of them are sinners. How can the pact done with such vicious people be considered alive?

اِشۡتَرَوۡاْ بِ‍َٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنٗا قَلِيلٗا فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُمۡ سَآءَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ٩

9:9. And they act against the guidance of Allah for petty gains and are creating obstacles to the development programs of Allah’s regime. Do they think about the deadly consequences of their activities?

لَا يَرۡقُبُونَ فِي مُؤۡمِنٍ إِلّٗا وَلَا ذِمَّةٗۚ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُعۡتَدُونَ١٠

9:10. And they do not co-operate with the social activists who work as per the guidance of Allah for the betterment of society. They have thrown away everything in the agreement they have made in this matter. Thus they are transgressors in all aspects.

فَإِن تَابُواْ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَوُاْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ فَإِخۡوَٰنُكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِۗ وَنُفَصِّلُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَعۡلَمُونَ١١

9:11. However, the time has not passed yet. They too can be regarded as comrades, if they abstain from engaging in such illegal activity and remain firm in the way of Allah’s guidance, pay the taxes prescribed by the regime, and act creatively. All of these are explained in detail to the community who follow the advice with zealous thinking.

وَإِن نَّكَثُوٓاْ أَيۡمَٰنَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ عَهۡدِهِمۡ وَطَعَنُواْ فِي دِينِكُمۡ فَقَٰتِلُوٓاْ أَئِمَّةَ ٱلۡكُفۡرِ إِنَّهُمۡ لَآ أَيۡمَٰنَ لَهُمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَنتَهُونَ١٢

9:12. Apart from this, if they break their agreement and continue to criticize Rabbu’s projects, there is no other option but to take stern action against the leaders of perpetrators. You can contain them and make others live as per the rules of the land.

أَلَا تُقَٰتِلُونَ قَوۡمٗا نَّكَثُوٓاْ أَيۡمَٰنَهُمۡ وَهَمُّواْ بِإِخۡرَاجِ ٱلرَّسُولِ وَهُم بَدَءُوكُمۡ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۚ أَتَخۡشَوۡنَهُمۡۚ فَٱللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخۡشَوۡهُ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ١٣

9:13. How can those who act against the agreement be allowed to move freely in the country? At one stage, they were the ones who planned to oust the Reformist. (See 8:30) That is why the reformist and his followers had to leave Makkah and go to Medina. Even after that, they didn’t let up. They planned to follow him and attack him. Not only that, they were the first to invade against the regime brought by the Reformist. They are still planning to attack you. What happened to you? why don’t you take action against such people? Are you afraid of them? Not so. If you truly follow the guidance of Allah, then take strong action against them. All you have to fear is the consequences of activities against the guidance of Allah.

قَٰتِلُوهُمۡ يُعَذِّبۡهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِأَيۡدِيكُمۡ وَيُخۡزِهِمۡ وَيَنصُرۡكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَيَشۡفِ صُدُورَ قَوۡمٖ مُّؤۡمِنِينَ١٤

9:14. Because there is no direct intervention of Allah in any matter. The purpose of issuing the order to take drastic action against them is to inflict pain and humiliation on them through you. And with the help of Allah, you will succeed in it. And you will get peace of mind.

وَيُذۡهِبۡ غَيۡظَ قُلُوبِهِمۡۗ وَيَتُوبُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ١٥

9:15. The hatred and anger that has been boiling in the hearts of the rest of them may subside and they may come forward to join in the mainstream. For those who seek to change, amnesty will be granted and incorporated into society. Surely, Allah's plans are based on clear wisdom.

Dear Intellectuals! Have you noticed that Allah forgives those who have committed such atrocities and repents? The main purpose of Islam is to safeguard the welfare of the people. Allah’s guidance is not to allow anyone to act against it.

أَمۡ حَسِبۡتُمۡ أَن تُتۡرَكُواْ وَلَمَّا يَعۡلَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ جَٰهَدُواْ مِنكُمۡ وَلَمۡ يَتَّخِذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا رَسُولِهِۦ وَلَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَلِيجَةٗۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ١٦

9:16. O followers of Allah’s guidance! Do you think that the matter is over with simply accepting Allah and His Messenger? Do you think that those who come forward to dedicate themselves to the fulfillment of the programs of Allah will be left unattended? Do you think that Allah does not know those who deviate from His rule and its social activists and make good friends with others? It is not enough to just say that you accept Allah with your lips. (See 2:214, 3:141, 29:1-2) Do not assume that there are no arrangements in place to monitor everything you do. Allah knows everything.

مَا كَانَ لِلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ أَن يَعۡمُرُواْ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ شَٰهِدِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِم بِٱلۡكُفۡرِۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ وَفِي ٱلنَّارِ هُمۡ خَٰلِدُونَ١٧

9:17. So when the facts about those who act against the Rabbu’s Guidance are clear, can they be permitted to administer good offices (mosques) which are in charge of executing the projects of Allah’s Regime? They no longer have the right to lead it. (See 72:18) Since none of their activities yield any benefit to the people, you have to take action against them and make them suffer severely.

إِنَّمَا يَعۡمُرُ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ

9:18. On the contrary,

The people who deserve for management of secretariats are:

مَنۡ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ

Those who accept the guidance of Allah,

وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ

those who accept the rule of “The ultimate results of human deeds,”

وَأَقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ

those who establish the system of "Salath" that upholds human dignity,

وَءَاتَى ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ

those who pay the taxes prescribed for the betterment of society

وَلَمۡ يَخۡشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَۖ

and those who carry on official duties without fear of anything other than Allah.

فَعَسَىٰٓ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَن يَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ١٨

They are the ones who will be considered to be on the right path.

۞أَجَعَلۡتُمۡ سِقَايَةَ ٱلۡحَآجِّ وَعِمَارَةَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ كَمَنۡ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَجَٰهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ لَا يَسۡتَوُۥنَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ١٩

9:19. Is it enough to claim to manage the “House of Common” in Kaaba and to provide water and food to the people who gather there for Hajj every year? Do they care about anything else! Will these people be equal to those who accept Allah's guidance and accept the law of “the ultimate result of human deeds” and dedicate themselves to the betterment of society? The two will never be equal. So let them go out of that House. Those who do not do such good deeds are unjust. How will they get guidance?

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَهَاجَرُواْ وَجَٰهَدُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ أَعۡظَمُ دَرَجَةً عِندَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَآئِزُونَ٢٠

9:20. The administrative responsibilities of this secretariat will be handed over to those who have left their homes and lands, devote themselves to public life and devote their wealth for the betterment of the community. They deserve to get high positions. They are the ones who achieve success in their life.

يُبَشِّرُهُمۡ رَبُّهُم بِرَحۡمَةٖ مِّنۡهُ وَرِضۡوَٰنٖ وَجَنَّٰتٖ لَّهُمۡ فِيهَا نَعِيمٞ مُّقِيمٌ٢١

9:21. Such people will receive the blessings and grace of “the guidance of the Rabbu,” because their deeds are in accordance with the Laws of Allah. So there will be a paradise-like society with lasting blessings and generous economic facilities. This paradise life will continue even after their death.

خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٞ٢٢

9:22. They will get constant happiness and pleasures as promised in the Scriptures. Tell them the good news that there is a great reward for such in the Law of Allah.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُوٓاْ ءَابَآءَكُمۡ وَإِخۡوَٰنَكُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَ إِنِ ٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ ٱلۡكُفۡرَ عَلَى ٱلۡإِيمَٰنِۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمۡ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ٢٣

9:23. O followers of Allah’s guidance! An order is issued to take action against those who are engaged in anti-social activities. Whoever is involved in such inappropriate activities should be contained. There should be no discrimination on the basis of blood relationships like father, son, brother, or sister. If anyone acts in their favor, they too will be added to the list of wrongdoers.

قُلۡ إِن كَانَ ءَابَآؤُكُمۡ وَأَبۡنَآؤُكُمۡ وَإِخۡوَٰنُكُمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ وَعَشِيرَتُكُمۡ وَأَمۡوَٰلٌ ٱقۡتَرَفۡتُمُوهَا وَتِجَٰرَةٞ تَخۡشَوۡنَ كَسَادَهَا وَمَسَٰكِنُ تَرۡضَوۡنَهَآ أَحَبَّ إِلَيۡكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَجِهَادٖ فِي سَبِيلِهِۦ

9:24. And the Rabbu’s Regime insists on dedicating oneself to performance as per His plans. These relationships or affections should not interfere in such social welfare programs. Affection for your children, siblings, wife, and the wealth you have earned should not be an obstacle to these good deeds. Thus, there is no need to fear that they will lose their business if they are involved in social welfare schemes. The attachment upon your home which you heartily maintain, should not interfere with these good deeds.

فَتَرَبَّصُواْ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡتِيَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَمۡرِهِۦۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ٢٤

All of these are essential to human life. But when it comes to national security, these should be considered secondary. One should give importance to the guidance of Allah and dedicate himself to act in accordance with it. Failure to do so can lead to addiction to relationships and a lack of concern for welfare and security, resulting in socio-economic imbalance. Then you will be left with no chance but to suffer agony. Thus, Allah never guides those who ignore His Laws and go the other way.

A question arises in your mind as to how to live without the above-mentioned livelihood facilities and the support of relatives. No doubt that these livelihoods are the provisions of Allah.

لَقَدۡ نَصَرَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِي مَوَاطِنَ كَثِيرَةٖ وَيَوۡمَ حُنَيۡنٍ إِذۡ أَعۡجَبَتۡكُمۡ كَثۡرَتُكُمۡ فَلَمۡ تُغۡنِ عَنكُمۡ شَيۡ‍ٔٗا وَضَاقَتۡ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتۡ ثُمَّ وَلَّيۡتُم مُّدۡبِرِينَ٢٥

9:25. Think about the provisions of Allah during critical situations like battles in which you participated. At one stage, during the Battle of Hunain, you were delighted to see a large number of war veterans participating. But did you succeed? You were defeated by a large number of soldiers in battle and you had to wander about in search of refuge to escape from the enemy. You have no place on this vast earth. I mean you backed out.

ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَعَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَأَنزَلَ جُنُودٗا لَّمۡ تَرَوۡهَا وَعَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ٢٦

9:26. Nevertheless, your heart was calmed after the message of Allah, sent through His Messenger, saying that He would support you with invisible forces and that your enemies will be annihilated. (See also - 8:10, 9:40, 3:126 & 41:30) This gave you enthusiasm and courage and you won the war. It was also clear to you that the painful sufferings of those who were engaged in anti-social behavior were severe.

In the same way, family, business, or home alone will not support your secure life. It is clear here that the advice of Allah and the regime that is formed accordingly will stand by you forever. If you hold on to that regime and act accordingly, you will develop the courage and mental strength to deal with anything in difficult times and solve it easily. These are the experiences gained by engaging in public life. If you set aside this and think that business, family alone are enough, and public life is unnecessary, there will be no protection when danger and trouble arise.

ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ٢٧

9:27. So once you commit a mistake, it does not mean that there is no forgiveness at all for it. If they realize their mistake and correct it immediately, you will get ways and means to recover from its impact. This is the permanent law of Allah. (See 4:17)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُشۡرِكُونَ نَجَسٞ فَلَا يَقۡرَبُواْ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدَ ٱلۡحَرَامَ بَعۡدَ عَامِهِمۡ هَٰذَاۚ وَإِنۡ خِفۡتُمۡ عَيۡلَةٗ فَسَوۡفَ يُغۡنِيكُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦٓ إِن شَآءَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ٢٨

9:28. O Followers of Allah’s guidance! It is not proper for the corrupt “mushriks” who act according to their own will without any policy to administer the office of the social welfare (Mosques). Set them aside and do not allow them to participate in administrative matters from this year onwards. Because their behaviors lead to social disharmony. Are you afraid that removing them immediately will cause economic trouble? If you make alternative arrangements as per the guidance of Allah, the opportunities for you will soon increase. Allah knows best about the consequences of your actions and all about the alternative steps.

قَٰتِلُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَلَا يَدِينُونَ دِينَ ٱلۡحَقِّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ حَتَّىٰ يُعۡطُواْ ٱلۡجِزۡيَةَ عَن يَدٖ وَهُمۡ صَٰغِرُونَ٢٩

9:29. Except for these Mushriks, there are people of other scriptures who do not accept the guidance of Allah, the law of "consequences for human deeds" and act accordingly. They go beyond the limits set by Allah and the regime based on it. They do not accept this guidance which shows the rightest way for the better life of man and do not live accordingly. Wouldn't their lives and property be protected, if they obey these laws and pay the government taxes? But they don’t seem to care at all about this. So take drastic action against them. Fight them if need be.

وَقَالَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ عُزَيۡرٌ ٱبۡنُ ٱللَّهِ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَٰرَى ٱلۡمَسِيحُ ٱبۡنُ ٱللَّهِۖ ذَٰلِكَ قَوۡلُهُم بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡۖ يُضَٰهِ‍ُٔونَ قَوۡلَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبۡلُۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَ٣٠

9:30. Consider the Israelites who live there. After the guidance came to them, they left them in due coerce and began to worship the king of Egypt, Osiris as the son of Allah. And if you look at the Christians, they worship the Reformist Easa Nabi as the son of Allah. These are all fictions created by themselves. They worship just as the previous communities worshiped with such fiction. Because they have deviated from the right path and are causing social disharmony, such people will face destruction at the hands of followers of the guidance of Allah.

ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَحۡبَارَهُمۡ وَرُهۡبَٰنَهُمۡ أَرۡبَابٗا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡمَسِيحَ ٱبۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓاْ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُوٓاْ إِلَٰهٗا وَٰحِدٗاۖ لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ٣١

9:31. They forsake the guidance of Allah and make their priests and preachers Rabbus. In addition, the son of Mary, Reformist Easa, is considered a Rabbu and follows the way they created in his name. The fact is that he never instructed the people to follow any means other than the guidance of Allah. He is beyond all such fictional matters. But the Christian clergy have been using the name of the reformist Easa Nabi and teaching other methods as the guidance of Allah.

يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطۡفِ‍ُٔواْ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَيَأۡبَى ٱللَّهُ إِلَّآ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُۥ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ٣٢

9:32. By telling such myths to the people, they want to turn off the guidance of Allah, which is the best guide to the enlightened life of man. (See also 61:8) But no matter how much they hate it, a better world will be created in due course of time according to this enlightened guidance of Allah.

هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَرۡسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلۡحَقِّ لِيُظۡهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكُونَ٣٣

9:33. Allah sent His Messenger to carry out this plan. His guidance is meant to show the most perfect path to the better life of man. Although this is disgusting to the mushriks who refuse to accept the guidance of Rabbu, over time this guidance will prove to be the most perfect guidance of all the methods followed by the people of the world.

۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡأَحۡبَارِ وَٱلرُّهۡبَانِ لَيَأۡكُلُونَ أَمۡوَٰلَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۗ

9:34. O Followers of Allah’s guidance! Many of the clergies and laymen, who live averting social life are tempted to amass wealth. They hoard gold and silver and do not spend them in the way of Allah and prevent people from coming to the guidance of Allah.

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَكۡنِزُونَ ٱلذَّهَبَ وَٱلۡفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَبَشِّرۡهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ٣٤

O, Reformist! Warn those who accumulate wealth in this way that they will suffer a severe punishment. And they are preventing people from coming towards the guidance of Allah. O, Reformist! Warn them that those who accumulate wealth in this way will suffer severely.

This is because the amassing of property and privatization is against the law of Allah. And during the reign as per Allah’s guidance, the clergy and the laymen will be barred from teaching false guidance to the people. The Islamic activists will also control such social enemies.

يَوۡمَ يُحۡمَىٰ عَلَيۡهَا فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَتُكۡوَىٰ بِهَا جِبَاهُهُمۡ وَجُنُوبُهُمۡ وَظُهُورُهُمۡۖ هَٰذَا مَا كَنَزۡتُمۡ لِأَنفُسِكُمۡ فَذُوقُواْ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡنِزُونَ٣٥

9:35. Such people, who engage in anti-social activity during the period of sovereignty, will at most taste the torments of burning hell. (See 104:6-9) Their foreheads, sides, and backs will be punished with heated ornaments they had stored. So they will be told to taste them. According to the law of Allah, this punishment will continue in the life after death too.

إِنَّ عِدَّةَ ٱلشُّهُورِ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱثۡنَا عَشَرَ شَهۡرٗا فِي كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ يَوۡمَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۡهَآ أَرۡبَعَةٌ حُرُمٞۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلۡقَيِّمُۚ فَلَا تَظۡلِمُواْ فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمۡۚ

9:36. Twelve months in a year is a decision taken by Allah long before the creation of the universes and the earth. And it was Allah who issued the ban on war for four months. This is the standard rule in the case of war. So, fighting in the months when the ceasefire is signed is the biggest crime. Do not transgress and do injustice.

وَقَٰتِلُواْ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ كَآفَّةٗ كَمَا يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمۡ كَآفَّةٗۚ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ٣٦

But if the “Mushriks” fights against you violating the ceasefire, you can fight against them with full force. There is no guilt in that. Know that the support of Allah will be on the side of the idealists who fight for justice to establish social harmony and a justful regime.

As already stated in 2:190, war is not something that takes place around the year. Definitions have been set for that as well. War is the action taken against atrocities to establish peace in the world (see 22:39). And even if it is forced to fight with its neighbors, it is allowed to continue fighting for a maximum of 8 months in a year. The other four months are forbidden to fight.

The Norms of war must be fixed by the United Nations Organization. Because it is Rabbu's Will that the war is waged in such a way that agriculture, weaving, and trade in the country are not greatly affected. And the nebulae orbiting the sun operate very precisely at fixed times. There is not the slightest change in that. Accordingly, the time it takes for the sun to orbit the earth once is 365 days and 6 hours. It is divided into twelve months.

إِنَّمَا ٱلنَّسِيٓءُ زِيَادَةٞ فِي ٱلۡكُفۡرِۖ يُضَلُّ بِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُحِلُّونَهُۥ عَامٗا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُۥ عَامٗا لِّيُوَاطِ‍ُٔواْ عِدَّةَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ فَيُحِلُّواْ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُۚ زُيِّنَ لَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ أَعۡمَٰلِهِمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ٣٧

9:37. In the case of the war-forbidden months, they issue contradicting views. This is also a kind of violation of the standard rules. This creates opportunities to go astray. Because they are the ones who decide for themselves that they are allowed to fight in a particular month. They also say that there is a ban on fighting in a particular year. Thus, they change the four-month restraining order set by Allah to their wishes. They also think that it is wise to do so. It also looks beautiful to them. So the guidance of Allah will never show the right path to those who refuse to accept the guidance of Allah.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَا لَكُمۡ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمُ ٱنفِرُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱثَّاقَلۡتُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ أَرَضِيتُم بِٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا مِنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ فَمَا مَتَٰعُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ٣٨

9:38. O Followers of Allah’s guidance! You are called to establish a peaceful country to flourish as a rule of justice in the country. For this, you are asked to leave for their training camps to attain the knowledge and the skills to work in the way of Allah. But it seems to be a great burden to some of you. Your mind does not allow you to leave your home. What happened to you? Do you want a temporary comfortable life, rather than a future stable, relaxed, happy life? Know that the temporary luxury life is insignificant when you keep in mind the lasting happy life. This will be available to you only by the best rule that develops according to the advice of Allah.

إِلَّا تَنفِرُواْ يُعَذِّبۡكُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا وَيَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ قَوۡمًا غَيۡرَكُمۡ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَيۡ‍ٔٗاۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ٣٩

9:39. If you do not support flourishing such a great rule, you know what the consequences would be. As per the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah, you will be subjected to many afflictions and sufferings by your enemies. And a different society will emerge in your place to fulfill His plans. No one can stop it. Because know that the plan of Allah is full of reasoning in all things.

إِلَّا تَنصُرُوهُ فَقَدۡ نَصَرَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِذۡ أَخۡرَجَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ثَانِيَ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ إِذۡ هُمَا فِي ٱلۡغَارِ إِذۡ يَقُولُ لِصَٰحِبِهِۦ لَا تَحۡزَنۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَنَاۖ فَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَيۡهِ

9:40. If you do not support the Reformist who guides your community, other arrangements will be made by Allah. At one stage, when he emigrated from his hometown, he had the help of Allah. While he was resting in the cave with his companion, the enemy followed him. Then he said to his comrade, “Do not worry. Surely, we have the help of Allah.” This gave them peace of mind and courage.

وَأَيَّدَهُۥ بِجُنُودٖ لَّمۡ تَرَوۡهَا وَجَعَلَ كَلِمَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلسُّفۡلَىٰۗ وَكَلِمَةُ ٱللَّهِ هِيَ ٱلۡعُلۡيَاۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ٤٠

Following it, unseen forces were deployed to help him * (see 9:26) Thus the enemy’s plans were smashed. Remember that the promise of Allah always prevails and that His guidance is based on wisdom.

These were the prior arrangements made by the great Comrades of Nabi (Sahabas) for the safe journey of the Reformist Mohammed (Sal).

ٱنفِرُواْ خِفَافٗا وَثِقَالٗا وَجَٰهِدُواْ بِأَمۡوَٰلِكُمۡ وَأَنفُسِكُمۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ٤١

9:41. O, Islamic activists! Whether you are rich or poor, come forward and dedicate yourself with the surplus wealth or livelihood you have (2:219) to the training camps. If you know the benefits of doing so, you will act quickly.

That means you need to get the proper training before engaging in public life. And you should know how to deal with the general public. How to solve problems for them? All of these are unlikely to be known by remaining at home. Special training camps are set up for this purpose and teach you about such things. They will also teach you some physical exercises and rehab programs to get rid of physical ailments or defects. Only then will physical strength come together with mental strength. Can also perform better.

لَوۡ كَانَ عَرَضٗا قَرِيبٗا وَسَفَرٗا قَاصِدٗا لَّٱتَّبَعُوكَ وَلَٰكِنۢ بَعُدَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلشُّقَّةُۚ وَسَيَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَوِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡنَا لَخَرَجۡنَا مَعَكُمۡ يُهۡلِكُونَ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ٤٢

9:42. But those who are not inclined to participate in this training, make lame excuses. They point out that the travel distance is too long. And they think it would be better if they had something to gain in public service. If there are such gains they will leave with you. They say if we had the strength to travel long distances, we would have departed with you. Thus, they seek their own destruction by making such lame excuses. Does not Allah know that they are liars?

عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَنكَ لِمَ أَذِنتَ لَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكَ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُواْ وَتَعۡلَمَ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ٤٣

9:43. O Reformist! Why did you allow them to stay at home before you knew their true status without inquiring thoroughly? That's because you trusted them. This is wrong. But make sure it doesn't happen again.

لَا يَسۡتَ‍ٔۡذِنُكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ أَن يُجَٰهِدُواْ بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ٤٤

9:44. Those who accept the guidance of Allah and the law of “The ultimate result of human deeds” will not hesitate from going to training camp on such excuses. They know that a good government under the guidance of Allah is going to be established to bring social reforms, they immediately get ready to risk their lives and dedicate the surplus wealth they have. Allah is well aware of the fact that there are ambitious people who carry out Allah's plans.

إِنَّمَا يَسۡتَ‍ٔۡذِنُكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَٱرۡتَابَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ فِي رَيۡبِهِمۡ يَتَرَدَّدُونَ٤٥

9:45. Only those who do not accept Allah's guidance and the consequences of “the ultimate result of human action” will seek your permission to stay away from working for social reforms. They are still in a trance. They let their minds wander without making decisive planning about anything.

۞وَلَوۡ أَرَادُواْ ٱلۡخُرُوجَ لَأَعَدُّواْ لَهُۥ عُدَّةٗ وَلَٰكِن كَرِهَ ٱللَّهُ ٱنۢبِعَاثَهُمۡ فَثَبَّطَهُمۡ وَقِيلَ ٱقۡعُدُواْ مَعَ ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ٤٦

9:46. If they had really wanted to dedicate themselves to public life, they would have made the necessary preparations for it. But their minds did not agree to it. That is why, as per the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah, they could not leave home. So, they were told to stay at home as cowards.

لَوۡ خَرَجُواْ فِيكُم مَّا زَادُوكُمۡ إِلَّا خَبَالٗا وَلَأَوۡضَعُواْ خِلَٰلَكُمۡ يَبۡغُونَكُمُ ٱلۡفِتۡنَةَ وَفِيكُمۡ سَمَّٰعُونَ لَهُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ٤٧

9:47. Even if they had departed with you, they would have created nothing but mere confusions. And such people may be trying to create animosity between you. This is how they want to confuse you. Some of you just listen to them. So is there any difficulty for Allah to identify such wrongdoers?

لَقَدِ ٱبۡتَغَوُاْ ٱلۡفِتۡنَةَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَقَلَّبُواْ لَكَ ٱلۡأُمُورَ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَظَهَرَ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ وَهُمۡ كَٰرِهُونَ٤٨

9:48. The real fact is that such people have created confusion before. They have been preventing your action plans from being fulfilled. However, in the end, it was justice that won. They became subject to everybody's hatred. This guidance prevailed as all the plans of Allah were duly fulfilled.

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَقُولُ ٱئۡذَن لِّي وَلَا تَفۡتِنِّيٓۚ أَلَا فِي ٱلۡفِتۡنَةِ سَقَطُواْۗ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةُۢ بِٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ٤٩

9:49. Some of them came kneeling down before you and said, “Allow me to stay at home. Don't make my life problematic.” But they are already caught in many problems. Without realizing it, they are trapped in the abyss of hell.

إِن تُصِبۡكَ حَسَنَةٞ تَسُؤۡهُمۡۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡكَ مُصِيبَةٞ يَقُولُواْ قَدۡ أَخَذۡنَآ أَمۡرَنَا مِن قَبۡلُ وَيَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُمۡ فَرِحُونَ٥٠

9:50. That’s why if you get benefits through social reform works, they get mental anguish. If you have problems, it makes them happy. They simply say, “We have already known about this problem. That is why we have been cautious in this matter.”

قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَآ إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰنَاۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ٥١

9:51. But explain to them that troubles and misfortunes are caused by the wrongdoings according to the framed Laws of Allah which has already been ordained. Allah's guidance will help us to fix them. All the followers act with a strong faith in His guidance.

قُلۡ هَلۡ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَآ إِلَّآ إِحۡدَى ٱلۡحُسۡنَيَيۡنِۖ وَنَحۡنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمۡ أَن يُصِيبَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِعَذَابٖ مِّنۡ عِندِهِۦٓ أَوۡ بِأَيۡدِينَاۖ فَتَرَبَّصُوٓاْ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ٥٢

9:52. Explain this to them, “It is natural that success or failure occurs in the course of actions we undertake. What else can you expect besides this? But whatever happens, it is good for us. Even if it means losing our lives, we are proud that we sacrificed our lives for a lofty cause. And we look forward to inflicting torment on you according to the law of Allah or by our own hands. So expect according to your actions. We also look forward to the result of our project. Let’s see what happens in the end.

قُلۡ أَنفِقُواْ طَوۡعًا أَوۡ كَرۡهٗا لَّن يُتَقَبَّلَ مِنكُمۡ إِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ٥٣

9:53. Not only that but some of them think that by offering financial help, they can escape from attending the training camps. Let them know categorically that no assistance will be accepted from them. Because they are far away from the right path.

وَمَا مَنَعَهُمۡ أَن تُقۡبَلَ مِنۡهُمۡ نَفَقَٰتُهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلَا يَأۡتُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ إِلَّا وَهُمۡ كُسَالَىٰ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ إِلَّا وَهُمۡ كَٰرِهُونَ٥٤

9:54. The reason for not accepting their contributions is that they have orally accepted the guidance of Allah and the constitution which has been formed accordingly. But in practice, they act against it. They also attend the Salat, which is organized to teach the guidance of Allah and work for social harmony, just to show off. (See 4: 142 & 107: 5) The charitable deeds they do are also disgusting. They don’t give importance to creative action plans.

فَلَا تُعۡجِبۡكَ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُهُمۡۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَتَزۡهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ٥٥

9:55. You should not be surprised to find that they are wealthy and have a large number of followers. These are the obstacles for them to follow the guidance of Allah. But according to the framed Laws of Allah, their misdeeds will complicate their worldly life. So, they will never accept the guidance throughout their life.

وَيَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمِنكُمۡ وَمَا هُم مِّنكُمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ يَفۡرَقُونَ٥٦

9:56. But listen to their speech. They swear by Allah that we surely are with you. They really are not yours. But they are cowards.

لَوۡ يَجِدُونَ مَلۡجَ‍ًٔا أَوۡ مَغَٰرَٰتٍ أَوۡ مُدَّخَلٗا لَّوَلَّوۡاْ إِلَيۡهِ وَهُمۡ يَجۡمَحُونَ٥٧

9:57. Perhaps even if they had the opportunity to take part in the war, they would have wandered in search of a place to hide. If they find a hiding place, cave, or tunnel, they would have left the battlefield and fled there.

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَلۡمِزُكَ فِي ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ فَإِنۡ أُعۡطُواْ مِنۡهَا رَضُواْ وَإِن لَّمۡ يُعۡطَوۡاْ مِنۡهَآ إِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡخَطُونَ٥٨

9:58. There are some of them who accuse you of misappropriation in the allotment of funds or subsidies from the regime. If they had been given the amount they expected, they would not have complained like this. But you were not able to give as much as they wanted because you had to distribute the funds equally to all (see 9:60). So, they express their anguish.

وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ رَضُواْ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَقَالُواْ حَسۡبُنَا ٱللَّهُ سَيُؤۡتِينَا ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ رَٰغِبُونَ٥٩

9:59. But those who are satisfied with the amount of the grant received through the regime of Allah say, “Isn’t Allah enough for us? As the facilities for the rule of Allah increase, we will receive more and more funds from it. Surely we are the ones who love this Regime of Allah. ”

۞إِنَّمَا ٱلصَّدَقَٰتُ لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ عَلَيۡهَا وَٱلۡمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَفِي ٱلرِّقَابِ وَٱلۡغَٰرِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِۖ فَرِيضَةٗ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ٦٠

9:60. Contributions collected by social organizations operating under the guidance of Allah (sadaqah) should be used for the following persons.

1. To rehabilitate the backward people in society, (2) to make the lives of the physically handicapped flourish, (3) to those who work to raise money for the organization, (4) to those who convert to Islam, (5) to free slaves, (6) to help those in debt, (7) to those who work for this organization, and (8) to those who travel for this organization. This is the advice of Allah. Know and act on the fact that all the guidance of Allah is based on complete wisdom.

وَمِنۡهُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡذُونَ ٱلنَّبِيَّ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ أُذُنٞۚ قُلۡ أُذُنُ خَيۡرٖ لَّكُمۡ يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَيُؤۡمِنُ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَرَحۡمَةٞ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنكُمۡۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡذُونَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ٦١

9:61. And there are some who criticize the Reformist and say that he is the one who listens to whatever is said to him. Tell them that listening to each other is a different matter. It is for their benefit. But trusting them to the fullest extent is a different matter. So he believes in the guidance of Allah. And he believes in the followers of the guidance of Allah. And He is Most Merciful to those of you who accept His guidance. (See 33: 6) So let those who criticize the Reformist be informed that a painful punishment awaits them.

يَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ لِيُرۡضُوكُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ أَحَقُّ أَن يُرۡضُوهُ إِن كَانُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ٦٢

9:62. And they come to you, swearing by Allah, to present their cause that they may please you and the followers. But if they were true followers of Allah’s guidance, they would have been engaged in good deeds to prove their claim. They must have voluntarily come forward to abide by these constitutional laws.

أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّهُۥ مَن يُحَادِدِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَأَنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدٗا فِيهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡخِزۡيُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ٦٣

9:63. Don’t they know that whoever acts against the guidance of Allah and its by-laws, will have a severe punishment? Don't they know that punishment will be eternal? That hellish torment is the disgrace and destruction that befalls them.

يَحۡذَرُ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ أَن تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُورَةٞ تُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمۡۚ قُلِ ٱسۡتَهۡزِءُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡرِجٞ مَّا تَحۡذَرُونَ٦٤

9:64. These hypocrites fear if any chapter would be sent down to the followers informing them about what is hidden in their minds. So, tell them, “You keep making fun of us. Know that what you used to hide in your hearts will be revealed to us by Allah.”

وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُمۡ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّمَا كُنَّا نَخُوضُ وَنَلۡعَبُۚ قُلۡ أَبِٱللَّهِ وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَرَسُولِهِۦ كُنتُمۡ تَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ٦٥

9:65. When asked about the reason for such ridicule, they answer that it was said simply for the sake of jokes and entertainment. Ask them if you can play tricks on Allah's guidance and its governing duties.

Because at this moment, when the government is taking action with zealous thinking on the issue of social reform, what can be said about them if they stop helping it and continue to ridicule it like this? This government strives for the betterment of the present and future lives of all.

لَا تَعۡتَذِرُواْ قَدۡ كَفَرۡتُم بَعۡدَ إِيمَٰنِكُمۡۚ إِن نَّعۡفُ عَن طَآئِفَةٖ مِّنكُمۡ نُعَذِّبۡ طَآئِفَةَۢ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ مُجۡرِمِينَ٦٦

9:66. All their speeches appear to be lame excuses. “What restricted you to speak the truth? The truth, it seems, is that even after accepting the guidance of Allah you are determined to act against it. Some of you may have joined you in listening to your ridiculous speeches due to ignorance. They will be forgiven. But criminals who know the truth and act against it will not be forgiven. They deserve to be punished.”

ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتُ بَعۡضُهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡضٖۚ يَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَقۡبِضُونَ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡۚ نَسُواْ ٱللَّهَ فَنَسِيَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ٦٧

9:67. Among such hypocrites are men and women. They are all misleading society as a whole. When Allah's guidance outlines the sinful deeds, they urge people to do them. They are preventing people from doing good deeds They are stingy in the way of Allah without spending themselves and spoiling others. Because they do not care about the guidance of Allah, the rule of Allah will remain indifferent to their safety.

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتِ وَٱلۡكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ هِيَ حَسۡبُهُمۡۚ وَلَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّقِيمٞ٦٨

9:68. That is why such hypocritical men and women will receive the same punishment as those who oppose the guidance of Rabbu. If words and deeds are different, would not the consequences of their evil deeds lead them to hellish torment? They cannot find any way to get out of that torment. They will be stuck in it permanently. They will miss out on the blessings of Allah that come to them. This is the punishment for such people.

كَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنكُمۡ قُوَّةٗ وَأَكۡثَرَ أَمۡوَٰلٗا وَأَوۡلَٰدٗا فَٱسۡتَمۡتَعُواْ بِخَلَٰقِهِمۡ فَٱسۡتَمۡتَعۡتُم بِخَلَٰقِكُمۡ كَمَا ٱسۡتَمۡتَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُم بِخَلَٰقِهِمۡ

9:69. They seem to think that all this is just a threat and that such a situation will not occur. But the society that lived before this also thought so. They were stronger and richer than you. Their community had also grown tremendously. They had the same privileges as these people do have today. Like them, they lived happily ever after.

وَخُضۡتُمۡ كَٱلَّذِي خَاضُوٓاْۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ٦٩

But because they took their lives in vain without caring about defensive matters and future security plans, they perished without being able to face when dangers arose. Like them, people now are immersed in vain games. All their actions were ruined without giving lasting results. The same thing will happen to these people also. Such people will turn out to be great losers.

أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِهِمۡ نَبَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ قَوۡمِ نُوحٖ وَعَادٖ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوۡمِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَأَصۡحَٰبِ مَدۡيَنَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَٰتِۚ أَتَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ٧٠

9:70. This is the condition of many societies that preceded them. For example, the community of Nooh Nabi, the community of Aadhu, samoodhu, Abraham, and all the inhabitants of Madyan were completely ruined as they were indifferent to the guidance of Rabbu. Have you not been told the historical facts of those societies? Shouldn’t they be taken as a lesson? Many Reformists who came to them gave them clear guidance! But they rejected them, lived as per their own will and pleasure, and engaged in evil deeds. So, they perished. Allah did not do them any harm. They harmed themselves. This is your situation today. Accept the precaution from Allah and protect yourself from destruction.

وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتُ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٖۚ يَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ سَيَرۡحَمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ٧١

9:71. On the contrary, this is not the case with men and women who willingly accept Rabbu’s guidance and act accordingly. Their purpose in life is to make society better, to remove the evils, and to reform from time to time. For this, they maintain unity and help each other. They spend money on community development by establishing social Forums to teach Rabbu’s guidance to all people. Thus, they act in obedience to the guidance of Allah and the constitutional laws based on it. They will reap fruitful results of their good deeds from Allah. All His plans are based on wisdom.

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةٗ فِي جَنَّٰتِ عَدۡنٖۚ وَرِضۡوَٰنٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ أَكۡبَرُۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ٧٢

9:72. Thus, the society in which men and women live, accepting the guidance of Allah and acting accordingly will become heavenly. Their economy will grow like a perennial river. They will have a secure life with all the comforts. Their residences will be classic mansions. It is promised by Allah that all facilities will be available in this way. There is no doubt about it. Because they know that the best way is to seek the approval of Allah. Isn't it true that such people have a glorious life? Such a heavenly life will continue even after their death.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ جَٰهِدِ ٱلۡكُفَّارَ وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱغۡلُظۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ٧٣

9:73. Take all possible measures to control the social enemies and hypocrites who thus prevent the formation of a superior society. Do not discriminate against anyone in it. Be very strict with them. Let them know in the end that their abode is hell like a prison. Let them know that it is a very bad place to stay.

يَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ مَا قَالُواْ وَلَقَدۡ قَالُواْ كَلِمَةَ ٱلۡكُفۡرِ وَكَفَرُواْ بَعۡدَ إِسۡلَٰمِهِمۡ وَهَمُّواْ بِمَا لَمۡ يَنَالُواْۚ وَمَا نَقَمُوٓاْ إِلَّآ أَنۡ أَغۡنَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦۚ

9:74. Notice how bad their behavior is. They have been telling the people to act against Allah and its rule. But now they swear by Allah that we will never speak like that. And even though all procedures to attain peaceful life are clear to them, many conspiracies are being hatched against it. They were also planning to succeed in it somehow. But they did not succeed in their plan. However, when asked why they are acting against these followers of guidance and the government, they say that they are acting on the anguish that the Islamic activists are getting the blessings of Allah in abundance.

فَإِن يَتُوبُواْ يَكُ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۡۖ وَإِن يَتَوَلَّوۡاْ يُعَذِّبۡهُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ وَمَا لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا نَصِيرٖ٧٤

Tell them, “Even now it is not too late. If you also come forward to act in accordance with the by-laws created under the guidance of Allah, we will grant you a general amnesty and include you in this organization. It will only benefit you. But if you miss this opportunity, you will get severe punishment according to the law of Allah.” Declare that such punishments will have to be faced in this world and in the life to come. After that, they won’t find any way for protection and assistance.

۞وَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ عَٰهَدَ ٱللَّهَ لَئِنۡ ءَاتَىٰنَا مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ وَلَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ٧٥

9:75. Some of them vowed that if they received a grant or subsidy from the Regime of Allah, they too would participate in social work and be creative.

فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَىٰهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦ بَخِلُواْ بِهِۦ وَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُم مُّعۡرِضُونَ٧٦

9:76. In the same way, they were given a grant from the Regime of Allah. After receiving them all, they did not spend on any social welfare schemes. Thus they breached their promise.

فَأَعۡقَبَهُمۡ نِفَاقٗا فِي قُلُوبِهِمۡ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يَلۡقَوۡنَهُۥ بِمَآ أَخۡلَفُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا وَعَدُوهُ وَبِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡذِبُونَ٧٧

9:77. As they acted against the oath they took under the rule of Allah and lied that they were doing good deeds, evil habits became ingrained in their hearts. So they lose the chance of getting guidance throughout their life.

أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعۡلَمُ سِرَّهُمۡ وَنَجۡوَىٰهُمۡ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَّٰمُ ٱلۡغُيُوبِ٧٨

9:78. Did they think that their secret thoughts and intimate plots would go unnoticed by the framed laws of Allah? Don't they know that this regime will monitor and know what is going on behind the scenes?

This means that if the subsidy for social welfare schemes is misused, the community will not develop. This is how it will betray the status of their activities.

ٱلَّذِينَ يَلۡمِزُونَ ٱلۡمُطَّوِّعِينَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ فِي ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ إِلَّا جُهۡدَهُمۡ فَيَسۡخَرُونَ مِنۡهُمۡ سَخِرَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۡهُمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ٧٩

9:79. But the followers of the guidance spend the government subsidies properly on social welfare schemes. They work for it without expecting anything other than their emoluments. The hypocrites on observing this ridicule the social workers. But as per the Prescribed Laws of Allah, those hypocrites will be ridiculed in due course. (See 2:15)

ٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ أَوۡ لَا تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ إِن تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ سَبۡعِينَ مَرَّةٗ فَلَن يَغۡفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ٨٠

9:80. O Reformist You are deeply interested to see if there is any way to get a secure life to such hypocrites. It is a reflection of the kindness you have. But even if you worry a thousand times about their safety, the chances are remote to protect them from the punishments of Allah. This is not because of the hatred upon them. But because of their activities against the guidance of Allah and the by-laws that have been framed on that basis. How can such sinners find guidance and protection from Allah?

فَرِحَ ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقۡعَدِهِمۡ خِلَٰفَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَرِهُوٓاْ أَن يُجَٰهِدُواْ بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَالُواْ لَا تَنفِرُواْ فِي ٱلۡحَرِّۗ قُلۡ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرّٗاۚ لَّوۡ كَانُواْ يَفۡقَهُونَ٨١

9:81. There was an order from the regime of Allah to take part in the war to contain the anti-social forces. But these people stayed at home against the order. They were also proud of not participating in it. These are the people who disliked the idea of ​​a better government based on the guidance of Allah, dedicating their lives and bringing social reforms. These are the ones who looked at the followers, who set out to fulfill their duty, despite the blazing sun, and advised them not to go. O, Reformist! Tell them, “The torment of Hell is worse than this.” If they had understood the truth, they would not have done so.

فَلۡيَضۡحَكُواْ قَلِيلٗا وَلۡيَبۡكُواْ كَثِيرٗا جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ٨٢

9:82. So let them laugh at the followers for a while for what they are doing. Then they have to cry for the rest of their life. This is the reward they deserve.

فَإِن رَّجَعَكَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَىٰ طَآئِفَةٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَٱسۡتَ‍ٔۡذَنُوكَ لِلۡخُرُوجِ فَقُل لَّن تَخۡرُجُواْ مَعِيَ أَبَدٗا وَلَن تُقَٰتِلُواْ مَعِيَ عَدُوًّاۖ إِنَّكُمۡ رَضِيتُم بِٱلۡقُعُودِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖ فَٱقۡعُدُواْ مَعَ ٱلۡخَٰلِفِينَ٨٣

9:83. And when some of them went out to battle, they decided to stay away from the battlefield in the critical moment. If such people ask for permission again to participate in war, tell them, “You will never have to go to war with me. And there is no need to fight the enemy with me. Because you sat on the sidelines without fighting on the battlefield. That's what you thought to be the best. So, stay in your homes with cowardly women.”

وَلَا تُصَلِّ عَلَىٰٓ أَحَدٖ مِّنۡهُم مَّاتَ أَبَدٗا وَلَا تَقُمۡ عَلَىٰ قَبۡرِهِۦٓۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَمَاتُواْ وَهُمۡ فَٰسِقُونَ٨٤

9:84. If any of such hypocrites dies, do not go there to mourn the death. Do not attend the rites of burial in their graves. This is because they are criminals who acted against the guidance of Allah and the constitutional laws based on it.

وَلَا تُعۡجِبۡكَ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَأَوۡلَٰدُهُمۡۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَتَزۡهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ٨٥

9:85. You should not be surprised to find them wealthy and have a large number of followers. Their pride prevents them from supporting the rule of Allah. But their arrogance will become the factors to complicate their worldly life. So they will not accept the guidance throughout their life. (See: 9:55)

وَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتۡ سُورَةٌ أَنۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَجَٰهِدُواْ مَعَ رَسُولِهِ ٱسۡتَ‍ٔۡذَنَكَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلطَّوۡلِ مِنۡهُمۡ وَقَالُواْ ذَرۡنَا نَكُن مَّعَ ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ٨٦

9:86. And if an order is issued to co-operate with the reformist, who is leading the society in the process of social development, these wealthy people say, “Leave us alone. We have decided to stay with those who do not participate in such programs.”

رَضُواْ بِأَن يَكُونُواْ مَعَ ٱلۡخَوَالِفِ وَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ٨٧

9:87. So they want to be with those who retreated during wartime and do not want to take part in welfare programs. Due to such arrogance, their mindset gets sealed in such a way that they could not understand the truth. They do not think about the disgrace caused by this.

لَٰكِنِ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُۥ جَٰهَدُواْ بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡۚ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتُۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ٨٨

9:88. But the reformist who leads the society and social activists who work with him dedicate their wealth and lives to social welfare. They are entitled to get all benefits. So they themselves are the winners.

أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ٨٩

9:89. As a result of the good deeds they do, their community will become like Paradise as per the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah. Their economic facilities will grow in their lifeline just like perennial rivers. Such a happy life will continue to be available as long as they follow the guidance of Allah. (8:53) Is it not a great victory for them?

وَجَآءَ ٱلۡمُعَذِّرُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ لِيُؤۡذَنَ لَهُمۡ وَقَعَدَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَبُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥۚ سَيُصِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ٩٠

9:90. Some of the villagers came seeking permission from you and citing some pretext for their abstinence from social work. But the reasons they showed were false. Those who lie to Allah and His Messenger may stay at home without asking permission! Those who make such excuses and act against His guidance will soon undergo severe punishments.

لَّيۡسَ عَلَى ٱلضُّعَفَآءِ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلۡمَرۡضَىٰ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ مَا يُنفِقُونَ حَرَجٌ إِذَا نَصَحُواْ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦۚ مَا عَلَى ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ مِن سَبِيلٖۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ٩١

9:91. But some of them are really weak, elderly and sick. And there are those who do not have the facilities to spend on social welfare schemes. But if they act according to the guidance of Allah, there is no blame on them. Such people will receive protection and assistance from Allah.

وَلَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا مَآ أَتَوۡكَ لِتَحۡمِلَهُمۡ قُلۡتَ لَآ أَجِدُ مَآ أَحۡمِلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَلَّواْ وَّأَعۡيُنُهُمۡ تَفِيضُ مِنَ ٱلدَّمۡعِ حَزَنًا أَلَّا يَجِدُواْ مَا يُنفِقُونَ٩٢

9:92. They were some people who had no vehicle facilities to travel long distances to serve as per the guidance of Allah. When you informed them about the lack of vehicles, they left you in tears of grief for their inability to afford by themselves. So there is no blame on these people too.

۞إِنَّمَا ٱلسَّبِيلُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡتَ‍ٔۡذِنُونَكَ وَهُمۡ أَغۡنِيَآءُۚ رَضُواْ بِأَن يَكُونُواْ مَعَ ٱلۡخَوَالِفِ وَطَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ٩٣

9:93. But the rich people with all facilities wanted to be with those who sought your permission to stay away from social welfare programs. These are the real people to be blamed. Such people get their mindset sealed as per the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah But they could not realize it.

Part: 11

يَعۡتَذِرُونَ إِلَيۡكُمۡ إِذَا رَجَعۡتُمۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡۚ قُل لَّا تَعۡتَذِرُواْ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ لَكُمۡ قَدۡ نَبَّأَنَا ٱللَّهُ مِنۡ أَخۡبَارِكُمۡۚ وَسَيَرَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمۡ وَرَسُولُهُۥ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ٩٤

9:94. They will come to you to explain a thousand reasons for not participating in such activities. Let them know that this is not necessary and you need not trust them all. The message has already come from Allah about their true condition. The Regime of Allah is watching over all their deeds. Tell them that they would be held accountable for everything they do and that nothing can be hidden from Allah.

سَيَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ إِذَا ٱنقَلَبۡتُمۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡ لِتُعۡرِضُواْ عَنۡهُمۡۖ فَأَعۡرِضُواْ عَنۡهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُمۡ رِجۡسٞۖ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُ جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ٩٥

9:95. They will come to you, swear by Allah, and state their situation. But inform them that you are not prepared to listen to them. This is because of their evil thoughts and intentions. The destination of those who act in this way is hell. This is not because of hatred towards them, but as a result of the evil deeds, they are doing.

يَحۡلِفُونَ لَكُمۡ لِتَرۡضَوۡاْ عَنۡهُمۡۖ فَإِن تَرۡضَوۡاْ عَنۡهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَرۡضَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ٩٦

9:96. So they swear by Allah to satisfy you and state their condition. Even if you are satisfied with listening to them, the law of Allah will not excuse such opportunists. Such people will be punished accordingly.

ٱلۡأَعۡرَابُ أَشَدُّ كُفۡرٗا وَنِفَاقٗا وَأَجۡدَرُ أَلَّا يَعۡلَمُواْ حُدُودَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ٩٧

9:97. As for the villagers, they are worse in insidious acts than the urban people. This is because they did not get the facts of limitations set by the rule of Allah. taking into account the communication gaps, appropriate action will be taken against them.

وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ مَغۡرَمٗا وَيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ ٱلدَّوَآئِرَۚ عَلَيۡهِمۡ دَآئِرَةُ ٱلسَّوۡءِۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٞ٩٨

9:98. And there are some of the villagers. They think that spending for the benefit of the people would be a waste. And they want you all to suffer without their help. But they do not know that its doom is rushing towards them only. Let them know that Allah has the power to know all their deeds.

وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ مَن يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ قُرُبَٰتٍ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَصَلَوَٰتِ ٱلرَّسُولِۚ أَلَآ إِنَّهَا قُرۡبَةٞ لَّهُمۡۚ سَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِي رَحۡمَتِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ٩٩

9:99. But there are some other villagers. They do well in accepting the guidance of Allah and the law of “ultimate consequences of human deeds” prescribed by Allah. They seek the blessings of Allah, the support and greetings of the ruling class, and spend very much for the welfare of the people. Such people will have the blessings and support of Allah. Surely the regime of Allah will protect such people and will embrace them with all facilities in return.

وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحۡسَٰنٖ رَّضِيَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي تَحۡتَهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ١٠٠

9:100. There are some who left their home towns to devote themselves to work for the formation of a superior government according to the guidance of Allah, those who sought refuge, and those who helped such refugees. Those are the pioneers in such good deeds and will find Allah's approval. They also act wholeheartedly with the guidance support of Allah. As a result of the good deeds they do, a heavenly society will emerge. All facilities will be growing there like perennial rivers. Such arrangements have already been ordained by Allah. Achieving such a great status is a huge success, isn't it?

وَمِمَّنۡ حَوۡلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ مُنَٰفِقُونَۖ وَمِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ مَرَدُواْ عَلَى ٱلنِّفَاقِ لَا تَعۡلَمُهُمۡۖ نَحۡنُ نَعۡلَمُهُمۡۚ سَنُعَذِّبُهُم مَّرَّتَيۡنِ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ عَظِيمٖ١٠١

9:101. And there are hypocrites in the surrounding villages just as in cities, who persist in insidious acts. You do not know the truth about them. But Allah knows best. Find them through secret agents, catch them, give them a chance to change, imprison them for short period and let them go after warnings. Thus, they will be given two chances. If they do not change after that, give them a severe punishment for the third time.

وَءَاخَرُونَ ٱعۡتَرَفُواْ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ خَلَطُواْ عَمَلٗا صَٰلِحٗا وَءَاخَرَ سَيِّئًا عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ١٠٢

9:102. And there are some who admit their misdeeds. They do good deeds but also misdeeds out of ignorance. However, such people realize their mistakes and so they are given the opportunity to correct them. Surely Allah's plan of action is full of grace leading to a secure life.

خُذۡ مِنۡ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ صَدَقَةٗ تُطَهِّرُهُمۡ وَتُزَكِّيهِم بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ إِنَّ صَلَوٰتَكَ سَكَنٞ لَّهُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ١٠٣

9:103. So, accept their contributions from such people to carry out welfare programs. Make arrangements for their education to remove superstitious beliefs and nourish them well. You should applaud them for their help and co-operations. This will bring them the mental peace which they deserve to be delighted. Do not forget that Allah has the power to know whatever you do.

Normally we appeal to the government to provide facilities such as hospitals, schools, and colleges for the community developments. Instead of waiting for it, we can collect donations and arrange for such developments to take place.

أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ يَقۡبَلُ ٱلتَّوۡبَةَ عَنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَأۡخُذُ ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ١٠٤

9:104. Forgiveness in the law of Allah is for those who realize their errors, turn away from wrongdoing and do good deeds. Don't they know that the regime of Allah has approved to receive contributions from such people? Surely the law of Allah gives man the opportunity to transform and lead a secure life. This is the great grace of Allah. (See 4:17-18,25:70-71)

وَقُلِ ٱعۡمَلُواْ فَسَيَرَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمۡ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَۖ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ١٠٥

9:105. They have been granted a general amnesty by the Regime. Now let them show in action that they have changed. Explain to them that their every activity will be monitored by the Regime of Allah and the social activists who guard it. So, let them know that they can no longer cover up any hidden or overt activities.

وَءَاخَرُونَ مُرۡجَوۡنَ لِأَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِ إِمَّا يُعَذِّبُهُمۡ وَإِمَّا يَتُوبُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ١٠٦

9:106. Apart from this, there are some other culprits. The Constitution of Allah will consider and decide whether to grant them a general pardon or to punish them if they too wish to change their lives. Surely, the judgment of the Regime will be based on the clear wisdom of Allah. (See also 9: 118)

وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ مَسۡجِدٗا ضِرَارٗا وَكُفۡرٗا وَتَفۡرِيقَۢا بَيۡنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَإِرۡصَادٗا لِّمَنۡ حَارَبَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُۚ وَلَيَحۡلِفُنَّ إِنۡ أَرَدۡنَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَشۡهَدُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ١٠٧

9:107. And there are some culprits. Their activities are detrimental to the Regime of Allah. They are also helping anti-social elements working against the Regime. They also established a mosque to divide the believers and to give refuge to those who fought against the rule of Allah. They are falsely swearing that they do not want to do anything but good. The outcome of their actions according to the rules prescribed by Allah will bear witness that they are liars.

لَا تَقُمۡ فِيهِ أَبَدٗاۚ لَّمَسۡجِدٌ أُسِّسَ عَلَى ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ مِنۡ أَوَّلِ يَوۡمٍ أَحَقُّ أَن تَقُومَ فِيهِۚ فِيهِ رِجَالٞ يُحِبُّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّرُواْۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُطَّهِّرِينَ١٠٨

9:108. So, you should never visit such a mosque. There are social welfare forums that have been established as per Allah’s guidance. You can go there and chalk out your action plans. The people there want to work for community development. Only those who act with such pure thoughts will be blessed by Allah.

أَفَمَنۡ أَسَّسَ بُنۡيَٰنَهُۥ عَلَىٰ تَقۡوَىٰ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضۡوَٰنٍ خَيۡرٌ أَم مَّنۡ أَسَّسَ بُنۡيَٰنَهُۥ عَلَىٰ شَفَا جُرُفٍ هَارٖ فَٱنۡهَارَ بِهِۦ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ١٠٩

9:109. Consider this example for yourself. One erects an administrative office for common sustainable benefits with strong foundations in accordance with the guidance of Allah. Another one erects a building without any solid foundation nearby the sea-shore in such a way that it can collapse at any time. Which of these two will be better? And if such a weak building were to crumble to dust and take its occupants to the side of torment, how could it be a social secretariat? So, the guidance of Allah will never be available to such an unjust crowd.

لَا يَزَالُ بُنۡيَٰنُهُمُ ٱلَّذِي بَنَوۡاْ رِيبَةٗ فِي قُلُوبِهِمۡ إِلَّآ أَن تَقَطَّعَ قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ١١٠

9:110. Social systems raised on false pretenses are unlikely to last in this world. Such systems will become extinct over time. This will leave a scar on their hearts when it vanishes. And their hearts will be broken to pieces in grief. This is not just intimidation. It is the word of Allah, all-knowing wisdom.

۞إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱشۡتَرَىٰ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَأَمۡوَٰلَهُم بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلۡجَنَّةَۚ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقۡتُلُونَ وَيُقۡتَلُونَۖ

9:111. These are the conditions of the hypocrites and the tragedies that will befall them. But that will not be the case with activists who accept Rabbu’s guidance. Allah makes a covenant with them. According to that agreement, they will dedicate their lives and possessions to the fulfillment of Allah’s projects. When the need arises, they will fight to uphold the rule of Allah, which protects the welfare of all people. In this way, those who engage in anti-social activities will be slain. Sometimes they will even be slain by enemies.

In return for such great courageous deeds, Allah will provide them with a heavenly life. These are not just words. This is the promise of Allah. Those who act in this way will get it.

وَعۡدًا عَلَيۡهِ حَقّٗا فِي ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلِ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ وَمَنۡ أَوۡفَىٰ بِعَهۡدِهِۦ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۚ فَٱسۡتَبۡشِرُواْ بِبَيۡعِكُمُ ٱلَّذِي بَايَعۡتُم بِهِۦۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ١١١

References to this have been revealed in the earlier Scriptures, the Torah, and the Bible. That is what is mentioned in this Quran too. This is the business deal that Allah has made with the followers. Let everyone be proud to know this. Because isn’t this the greatest success available to everyone?

Allah is ready to grant Paradise. Are you ready to receive it?

9:112. Also, know how the activities of such followers should be.

ٱلتَّٰٓئِبُونَ

1. They will stop doing their wrong deeds and come forward to live as per the guidance of Allah.

ٱلۡعَٰبِدُونَ

2. They will surely live in obedience only to the guidance of Allah.

ٱلۡحَٰمِدُونَ

3. They will work tirelessly to make the schemes of Allah glorious.

ٱلسَّٰٓئِحُونَ

4. They will travel abroad to carry out the programs of Allah.

ٱلرَّٰكِعُونَ

5. They will bow to the guidance of Allah completely and the constitutional by-laws framed on its basis.

ٱلسَّٰجِدُونَ

6. They will undertake to carry out all His commandments mentioned in Qur’an and live on its basis.

ٱلۡأٓمِرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ

7. Thus, they will teach the people to behave better and to do good deeds which the Quran outlines.

وَٱلنَّاهُونَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ

8. At the same time, they will prevent all evil deeds which Qur’an declares from taking place in society.

وَٱلۡحَٰفِظُونَ لِحُدُودِ ٱللَّهِۗ

9. Thus, they will maintain all the limitations framed by Allah.

وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ١١٢

10. It is to such followers that the good news of heavenly life is given.

مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَن يَسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ لِلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ وَلَوۡ كَانُوٓاْ أُوْلِي قُرۡبَىٰ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمۡ أَنَّهُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ١١٣

9:113. It is not proper for the leader who guides the society or the social activists to support and protect the ‘idolaters’ who live according to their own will and against the laws of Allah. No matter how close relatives they are. Once it has been made clear that they are the inmates of hell, there is no chance for their security.

وَمَا كَانَ ٱسۡتِغۡفَارُ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ إِلَّا عَن مَّوۡعِدَةٖ وَعَدَهَآ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُۥٓ أَنَّهُۥ عَدُوّٞ لِّلَّهِ تَبَرَّأَ مِنۡهُۚ إِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لَأَوَّٰهٌ حَلِيمٞ١١٤

9:114. Thus, you may doubt that Reformist Ibrahim Nabi prayed to Rabbu for his protection even though his father was an idol worshiper. This was in the course of his efforts to correct his father. He was determined to somehow guide him and rescue him from the punishment of Allah. (See 19:48) But, he turned away from his father when he saw that he was firm in refusing to obey Allah's guidance (see 60: 4) Surely, Ibrahim Nabi was firm in following Allah’s guidance.

وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُضِلَّ قَوۡمَۢا بَعۡدَ إِذۡ هَدَىٰهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يُبَيِّنَ لَهُم مَّا يَتَّقُونَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٌ١١٥

9:115. Allah does not want any society to be misguided, once it has got the right path to enjoy all benefits by following them. First, He fully clarifies the principles and legislation to be followed. He then clarifies how to be safe from the effects of evil deeds. These are certainly the guidance from Allah, who knows every happening in the world.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُۚ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا نَصِيرٖ١١٦

9:116. Not only that, but everything in the universe and on earth is operating according to the laws of Allah. The same legal framework applies to human beings. So the life and death of society take place on the same basis. So, if you leave the guidance of Allah, nothing else will support a safe life.

لَّقَد تَّابَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِيِّ وَٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُ فِي سَاعَةِ ٱلۡعُسۡرَةِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيغُ قُلُوبُ فَرِيقٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِهِمۡ رَءُوفٞ رَّحِيمٞ١١٧

9:117. The mercy of Allah has been bestowed on the Reformists who guide the community, on those who emigrated with him when he was in distress, on those who provided shelter and helped them. So also, in the early stages of the establishment of Allah’s Regime, when the emigrants and supporters faced hardships, some of them stumbled. They would have changed their direction if Allah’s guidance had not been revealed and saved them. May the mercy and grace of Allah be upon all of them.

وَعَلَى ٱلثَّلَٰثَةِ ٱلَّذِينَ خُلِّفُواْ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا ضَاقَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتۡ وَضَاقَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَنفُسُهُمۡ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَن لَّا مَلۡجَأَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّآ إِلَيۡهِ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ لِيَتُوبُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ١١٨

9:118. Similarly, in the case of the three who did not advance on the battle-field during the war, the judgment to be rendered to them came for consideration (see 9:106) and when they fled the field, they found no refuge anywhere. Even though the earth was so vast, they were in great crisis. And survival had become very difficult. So they corrected their mistake, realizing that if they left this rule of Allah, there would be no other way for a secure life. So they too are to be forgiven. Thus, this rule of Allah gave them the opportunity to live after amnesty. The guidance of Allah is indeed based on mercy.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُواْ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ١١٩

9:119. O followers of Allah’s guidance. The reason for citing the incidence is to make you clear about the adverse consequences of acting against the guidance of Allah. That is, you have to act as per His guidance. And you have to mingle with those who work hard to uphold the Regime of Allah

مَا كَانَ لِأَهۡلِ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ أَن يَتَخَلَّفُواْ عَن رَّسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَرۡغَبُواْ بِأَنفُسِهِمۡ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ لَا يُصِيبُهُمۡ ظَمَأٞ وَلَا نَصَبٞ وَلَا مَخۡمَصَةٞ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَطَ‍ُٔونَ مَوۡطِئٗا يَغِيظُ ٱلۡكُفَّارَ وَلَا يَنَالُونَ مِنۡ عَدُوّٖ نَّيۡلًا إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُم بِهِۦ عَمَلٞ صَٰلِحٌۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجۡرَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ١٢٠

9:120. Whether in urban or rural areas, it is not proper to flee to safeguard their lives, leaving the commander-in-chief during warfare. Because under the guidance of Allah a great social system and governance are being formulated. Hunger, thirst, fatigue, and the suffering of those who dedicate themselves to it are all reported in their list of virtues. (2:155-156) Thus, those who do good deeds will be rewarded by Allah.

وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ نَفَقَةٗ صَغِيرَةٗ وَلَا كَبِيرَةٗ وَلَا يَقۡطَعُونَ وَادِيًا إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُمۡ لِيَجۡزِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ١٢١

9:121. The contributions made by such people for the betterment of the community, whether small or large, are all listed as good deeds. Similarly, for these tasks, even if you have to cross a rough pavement to travel to another city, they will be reported in good deeds. Every action they take for the betterment of society will not go in vain. Its rewards will surely come from Allah.

۞وَمَا كَانَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ لِيَنفِرُواْ كَآفَّةٗۚ فَلَوۡلَا نَفَرَ مِن كُلِّ فِرۡقَةٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ طَآئِفَةٞ لِّيَتَفَقَّهُواْ فِي ٱلدِّينِ وَلِيُنذِرُواْ قَوۡمَهُمۡ إِذَا رَجَعُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَحۡذَرُونَ١٢٢

9:122. One more thing to note. It is not right for everyone to go as a whole to involve themselves in warfare and social welfare. Therefore, the work should be divided into several departments and parts. A section of people is to learn Rabbu’s guidance as a method to know about moral virtues and to teach them to others. (Ref: 3:104) Doing so will ensure that these tasks are performed safely and efficiently. (See 4: 102)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ قَٰتِلُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ يَلُونَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡكُفَّارِ وَلۡيَجِدُواْ فِيكُمۡ غِلۡظَةٗۚ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ١٢٣

9:123. O followers of Allah’s guidance! On one hand, your main duty is to suppress the evil forces in society. So, suppress the social enemies around you and show them your strength. So that they may abstain from evil deeds. Know that Allah's companion is only for the idealists who work as per the law of Allah.

وَإِذَا مَآ أُنزِلَتۡ سُورَةٞ فَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَقُولُ أَيُّكُمۡ زَادَتۡهُ هَٰذِهِۦٓ إِيمَٰنٗاۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ فَزَادَتۡهُمۡ إِيمَٰنٗا وَهُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ١٢٤

9:124. On the other hand, notice how the speech of some of the people is. When the guidelines regarding rules and moral values ​​are announced, they mockingly ask, “Who among you has increased his faith?” Tell them, “Only those who wholeheartedly accept the guidance of Allah will be involved and be delighted. How can others realize this fact.?”

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ فَزَادَتۡهُمۡ رِجۡسًا إِلَىٰ رِجۡسِهِمۡ وَمَاتُواْ وَهُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ١٢٥

9:125. But for those who have insidious diseases in their hearts, it will increase day by day. Evil activities will grow among those who act with evil thoughts. So they will act against the guidance of Allah till death. (See 2:10)

أَوَلَا يَرَوۡنَ أَنَّهُمۡ يُفۡتَنُونَ فِي كُلِّ عَامٖ مَّرَّةً أَوۡ مَرَّتَيۡنِ ثُمَّ لَا يَتُوبُونَ وَلَا هُمۡ يَذَّكَّرُونَ١٢٦

9:126. Do they not notice that torment occurs once or twice a year (see 9:14)? Even then, they do not appear to turn away from their evil deeds/ They have no idea about it at all.

Natural disasters, earthquakes, hurricanes, and famines continue to plague the world. To get relief from them, everyone has to work together according to the law of Allah. When you get relief from grief, they turn back to their traditional way of life.

وَإِذَا مَآ أُنزِلَتۡ سُورَةٞ نَّظَرَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضٍ هَلۡ يَرَىٰكُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٖ ثُمَّ ٱنصَرَفُواْۚ صَرَفَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُم بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يَفۡقَهُونَ١٢٧

9:127. If any message of guidance is issued, they would look at one another and go back immediately saying, “Has anyone seen us?” Thus their hearts turn back according to the law of Allah because they do not have any mature mentality to think and accept the true things. Because they lose the power to think about real things.

لَقَدۡ جَآءَكُمۡ رَسُولٞ مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡ عَزِيزٌ عَلَيۡهِ مَا عَنِتُّمۡ حَرِيصٌ عَلَيۡكُم بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ رَءُوفٞ رَّحِيمٞ١٢٨

9:128. O Mankind! A Reformist has come among you to guide you all. If you are suffering, it gives him a lot of grief. So much he is affectionate to you all. He is much merciful and gracious to the followers who accept the guidance of Rabbu and build its governing body.

This is because the plans of Allah cannot be fulfilled by a reformist alone. The support and commitment of the followers are required (see 33:56) and they dedicate their lives and surplus wealth to fulfill the schemes proposed by Allah and participate in such activities (9: 111, 48:10 & 18,33: 6).

فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَقُلۡ حَسۡبِيَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ١٢٩

9:129. It is openly declared, “When the truth is like this, if anyone deviates from the path He shows, the harm will not be on Him or the Reformist. Allah’s guidance is sufficient for him. “Whole of the universe is functioning under the commandments of Allah. I rely on Allah, the Creator, Sustainer and Ruler of them”
