Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
The shape of the letter Swadh symbolizes Hard work for prosperity
The shape of the letter Swadh symbolizes Equal Justice (Sadhiq)
The shape of the letter Swadh symbolizes to warn the consequences.
38:1. The teachings of this Qur’an are broadly based on three principles: Hard work, Equal Justice, and the warning for the wrongdoers. These teachings are proposed by Allah to mankind.
38:2. But those who refuse to accept these facts, go far away from honesty and integrity and seek false prestige.
If they had considered the advice of this Quran a little, they would have understood the extent to which it gives excellent advices for their elevation and dignity. But because they are blindly immersed in their traditional idol worships, the destruction that will befall them becomes inevitable.
38:3. Thus, many societies have perished before this as per the framed laws of Rabbu. When they faced destruction, there was nothing but hues and cries. But those screaming never helped them in any way.
38:4. It has come as a great surprise to the people that someone living with them is giving such warning messages. So, they reject his guidance by telling that all his teachings are nothing but hoodwink.
38:5. And they say teasingly, “Here is a person who seeks to separate us from our deities by claiming that they are all false. The only Rabbu whom he speaks about is the true Rabbu and it should only be worshiped. Is this not amazing?” They talk among themselves.
38:6. “So get away from him. Be firm in the worship of our Rabbu that we love. Because there seems to be some motive in his speech. That is why he wants to thrust his speeches to the people somehow.”
38:7. Others say, “We have never heard such strange talks in any society before. So, everything he says is imaginary.” (See 26: 137)
38:8. And some say, “He has been with us for so long. How could he alone have attained enlightenment all of a sudden?” That is how they express their views. That is not true. They do not understand the warning messages he gives. They could not predict the law of consequences of human actions. That is the truth.
38:9. How are they talking like this? Do they speak based on the riches they have received from Rabbu? Or do all treasuries of wealth belong to them alone?
38:10. Do all the universes, the earth, and everything between them exist under their authority? If so, let him climb up with the ladder and maintain his power there.
38:11. Such objections, sarcasm, and intimidation were always there whenever His guidance was put before the people. Similar protests would arise if the advice of this Quran is quoted even today.
38:12. This is how the community of Reformist Nooh Nabi, the community of Aadh, and the Fira’un, who ruled for generations, refused to accept the advice of Rabbu and finally perished.
38:13. In addition, the community of ‘Samoodh’, the community of Reformist Looth, and the Madyan people called As-habul Ay-katha were included in the list of those who perished in this way.
38:14. The reason for their destruction is that whenever Reformist guided them, they ignored it and continued in their wrongdoings. Their evil deeds resulted in great adverse impacts.
38:15. The present people similarly refuse to accept His guidance and look forward to that destruction. When the riot erupts, everything will be over. They cannot stop that from happening.
38:16. When you observe the method of their activities, it is like praying to Rabbu to expedite the destruction. The account of the “consequences of human deeds" prescribed by Rabbu is always under its timings.
38:17. O, Reformist! Do not think and worry about their ridicule. You stay consistent in your action plan. Reformist Dhawoodh, who ruled in this way, acted in accordance with the guidance of Rabbu.
38:18. The tribal also functioned under his rule. They all worked tirelessly day or night with the Reformist Dhawoodh according to His command.
38:19. In addition, during his reign, he mobilized and trained well-equipped cavalry. They all obeyed him. (See also: 21:79, 27:16 & 34:10)
38:20. Thus he had a strong kingdom and the wise counsel to conduct it well and the rhetoric which could give excellent judgments based on it, according to the decree of Rabbu.
But the moral values of the people in that country were very much deteriorating. They were so bad. They do not know the timings of the meeting of the government official and the method of approaching it. One day like that
38:21. Without any warning, the two suddenly climbed the wall into Dhawoodh's place and entered! Do you know what happened there?
38:22. Reformist Dhawoodh was a little frightened when he saw them. Then they said, “Do not be afraid. Injustice has been done to us. Only you, as a leader, can surely know. We, therefore, hope that you would not err in rendering judgment. You have to tell us what to do.”
38:23. When questioned, one of them said, “This is my brother. He has ninety-nine sheep. But I have only one. He keeps on insisting me to give it to him. When asked for a verdict on this with the people, they also speak in support of him. Thus, he overweighs me in the argument.”
38:24. On hearing this, Reformist Dhawoodh said, “It is unjust to ask him to give your sheep to him. He is unjust with you. This is how most of the partners behave improperly. Those who accept the guidance of Allah will not do so. There are very few people who do this.”
But he noticed that a fact was hidden in this case. Considering it as a proclamation from Rabbu, he took appropriate legal measures in his country. Thus, even he was king, he kept in mind the guidance of Rabbu and acted accordingly.
That is, Reformist Dhawoodh thought deeply about the case. He realized that the affair was not just about the litigants who came to terms with the sheep. He came to know that fraud was going on everywhere in his country and that the people were working in favor of the rich and against the poor common people. It is his fault that he did not pay attention to this even though he was king.
Sheep’s case seemed to make sense to him. The shortcoming of his rule was that the Reformist Dhawoodh, who had mobilized forces to protect himself from alien enemies, did not take action to control the illegal acts that were going on inside the country. Therefore, he took steps to protect the welfare of the public.
38:25. Likewise came Rabbu's support for the protective and grief-relieving measures he took. We made him get high status and a beautiful palace for the excellent works he did.
38:26. We gave him Our revelations which said, “O, Dhawoodh! Of course, We have given you the opportunity to rule the country. So, make way for fair judgments among the people. And rule in a just manner. And never act in accordance with the wishes of the people. Because they are submissive to their desires. So, they will divert you from the path of Allah.
Warn the people that those who act against this rule of Allah will be punished. Let them remember that those who commit unjust acts in this way will have a terrible torment.” (See 17:55)
38:27. Moreover, the Scripture said, “People think that creation of the universe and the earth are nothing but an illusion. These are the misconceptions of atheists. Rabbu created them for lofty purposes. This is the truth. So, those who take their lives sportive will hasten to the side of the torment of hell.”
38:28. On one side, those who accept the guidance of Allah, devise creative welfare schemes for the betterment of society and work for them. The reverse side is of those who mislead society and the people of the community and provoke chaos and riots. Can these two categories be equal? Are those who fear the law of the consequences framed by Rabbu equal to those who act according to their desire and commit sinful acts?
38:29. These were the contents of the Book (Zaboor) which We bestowed to Reformist Dhawoodh containing such advices and warnings. We gave him this Scripture so that all his learned scholars could diligently study and act on those advices.
38:30. Not only that, after Reformist Dhawoodh, his son Sulaiman succeeded him. and he ruled his country according to Our guidelines.
38:31. And the Reformist Sulaiman, during his reign, had prepared well-trained cavalry. Once while parading the horses,
38:32. He examined them one by one from morning till night. On this subject, he explained to his associates the reason for the top-level affection on those horses. He said, “These horses are helping to protect the kingdom as per the norms of Rabbu. So much are they important to rulers?”
38:33. He called them back and rubbed them one by one on the hind legs and neck. To that extent, he had affection for them.
38:34. Thus, the Reformist Sulaiman acted in accordance with the commandments of Rabbu in every matter relating to his rule. But his son, who took over the reins of government after him, was an unworthy idiot. He stopped worrying about his son when he could not correct him and act on Our orders.
38:35. He submitted his lofty thoughts to Rabbu, “O, My Rabbu! Show me the ways to carry out my constitutional plans safely. And help me to set an example for future generations to be the greatest rule in the world! I know, of course, that such a rule can only be established by following Your advice.”
38:36. Thus he studied the velocities and directions of the oceanic winds operating according to Our Project and paved the way for the construction of sailing vessels. This made it easier to cover a month’s travel in just a few hours (see also 34:12).
38:37. Not only that, in order to do deep-sea research, he had prepared strong divers to submerge in the sea and extract pearls and corals. (See 21:82 & 34:13)
38:38. He also trained well the mighty tribal and kept them under his command.
38:39. These are the blessings that he received from Rabbu. He could have imprisoned and enslaved those tribal if he wanted to, or he could train them like urban people and make them live better. He had such a liberty to do whatever he liked.
38:40. But he trained them well and made them live better. Thus, he was in close contact with Our guidance in every matter. So, he got high status and a beautiful palace to dwell in.
38:41. Similarly, Ayyoob Nabi was one of the reformists. One day, he was bitten by a deadly venomous snake. Unable to bear the pain, he prayed to Rabbu to relieve him.
38:42. And He advised him, “Creep a little and go into a cave nearby. Inside are springs. Dip your feet in the water and swing. It will cool down the pain. There is delicious water to drink.”
Some facts are emerging from this incident. That means he seems to be stuck in loneliness. And was throbbing with the pain of a snake bite. The severity was also high. And he seems to be very much thirsty.
38:43. And his family and his people came in search of the same water. Not only that but some others too came along with them. Thus, he received help from Rabbu. There are lessons for thinking people in this. (See 38:49)
38:44. Then they came up with the idea of using magic sticks to get rid of the pain of snake bites. They said there was no sin in it. But he did not accept it because those methods lead to superstition. He was patient and took herbal treatment. Thus, he acted only according to Rabbu's guidance at every stage of his life.
38:45. Mention the history of Reformist Ibrahim, Reformist Ishaq, and Reformist Yaquoob in the list of the great scholars who acted as per guidance.
38:46. They are all idealists who have acted according to Our command.
38:47. Of course, all of them are people who have planned and implemented social welfare schemes beautifully. They never acted against Our guidance.
38:48. Similarly, the Reformists Ismail, Alyass’a, and Zalkiflu performed well and were among the best performers in world history. They never acted against Our guidance
38:49. In examining the historical facts in this way, the late Reformists persevered in their cause despite many tribulations and oppositions. At the end of the course, they got the success.
In the same way, those who want to accept and act on the guidance of Rabbu should take into account the biographies of the Reformists of the past and continue to strive for social reforms despite hardships and impediments. These are role models of those reformists to be followed.
38:50. Thus, for those who work tirelessly, this worldly life will be heavenly and also in the life after death. And in such societies, all facilities will be available in abundance.
38:51. In such a special society they will continue to do their work sitting in reclining chairs. Delicious food and soft drinks will be available to them.
38:52. Such a comfortable life is not only available to men but also to pure-hearted women who work with them. Those women will never have any bad intentions of any strangers. To that extent, they will be holy.
38:53. These are the benefits available to those who accept Rabbu's guidance and act creatively. And these are the sketches of the social system promised by Allah.
38:54. These are all blessings from Rabbu. There will not be any shortfalls in it.
38:55. These are all benefits for the good. The situation of the wicked, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. Their shelter would be very poor.
38:56. Their society will be full of problems. This is what We call hell. It would be a very bad place to live.
38:57. These are the evil consequences of a society that engages in evil deeds. Let them overcome it. All they get is boiling water and rotten food.
38:58. Not only these but they will also suffer various afflictions like this.
38:59. The corrupt leaders will be told, “These are your closest armies. They will all enter into hell. There won’t be any dignity or respect for you. Nothing less than sorrow and pain.”
38:60. Those who followed the leaders will say, “Not so. You are the ones who should be in hell with us. You too will not have any dignity or respect. The reason. You have led us astray. So, both of us are to be sheltered in the worst place.”
38:61. And they will pray, “O, Our Rabbu! For those who have led us astray, let the torment of Hell be doubled for them!”
38:62. And those inmates of the hell will say, “What happened to us? We could not find those followers of Rabbu here, whom we considered being bad people!”
38:63. And they will cry, "We could not find here those whom we used to mock!" Where are they? Have our views shrunk to such an extent?”
38:64. Do not think that this is just a threat. This is the reality that is going to happen. This is how the inmates of Hell will be arguing among themselves.
38:65. O, Reformist! Tell them, “I am the one who warns you of the evil consequences of your wrongdoing. My duty is to advise the people to obey only the guidance of Allah, the One and Only who created all the universes and keeps them under His control.”
38:66. “All these warnings are from my Rabbu who created and sustains the universe, the earth, and all that are between them. Know that his guidance is all-pervading and all-protecting.”
38:67. And inform them, “All these warnings that I am giving you is only for your better life.”
38: 68. “You point out the facts that they are so clearly substantiated and instead of thinking and accepting them you simply ignore them!”
38:69. O, Reformist! Ask them, “I had no knowledge about the leaders of the previous community who argued with the late Reformists. This information came to me only through the revelation. So how can I fabricate these facts myself?”
38:70. So the historical events were informed to me through revelations called “Wahi” and I do not tell myself. The purpose of those historical facts is to explicitly warn you that the same destruction that befell the earlier communities will befall you.
So why does man alone in the creation of the world refuse to obey the advice of Rabbu? What is the status of man in this universe? What is Rabbu's plan for man? Such questions have already been explained under the heading "Adam" in 2: 30-39,7:11-25, 15:28-44, 20:115-124. The same thing is explained here again. That is, on the one hand, the civilized human race called "Adam" - on the other hand, the forces of the universe and nature that act in accordance with man's command as per Allah’s Plans - the devilish qualities that operate within man - and Rabbu's guidelines on one part. These are given in the form of a conversation so that you can understand them properly, and this incident should not be taken as having happened somewhere at any time. (See 15:31)
38:71. It is Rabbu's plan to create man from sounding black clay (see 15:26) and to make him worthy to lead this earth. The angels, the natural forces of the universe, were amazed to know His plans (see 2:30).
38:72. Accordingly, Allah (see 32: 5) created man, gradually cleared the deficiencies found in him, and bestowed upon him the unique power called “Rooh”. (See 32: 9) It is Rabbu's plan for the universal forces of nature to be subject to human command as and when such unique qualities develop in man.
38:73. Accordingly, all the natural forces of the universe are bound to man.
38:74. But one of the forces, Iblees which operates within man is not subject to human command. They are the intrinsic qualities such as pride, arrogance, and selfishness that he possesses. These characters restrict man to obey Allah’s advice too.
Examine the facts which are narrated in the form of dialogues.
38:75. Rabbu Asked, “O, Iblees! When My command came to you to submit to the man whom I Myself created, what prevented you? Are you proud? Do you think you are superior to him?”
That is, the man refuses to obey the command of Rabbu while he is arrogant. He considers himself superior to that extent. So, consider the answer that Iblis gave to Rabbu.
38:76. “I am superior to him. You created me from fire. But You created him from clay.”
Did you notice? The arrogance that I am superior and the others are inferior is found in man even today. That is why all the problems in society arise. (See 15:33) They do not mean the Reformist either.
38:77. “Then get out of here. Surely you have lost all our blessings and become unfit to live here with dignity.”
38:78. “Until a Regime based on Our guidance is established, your domination over man will continue.
It is this arrogance in man that prevents him from accepting Rabbu's guidance. Thus, he loses his ability to explore the universe immerses himself in the superstition that everything will be done by angels (see 2:210) and loses all energy and lives as a corpse. Thus, the life of Paradise, which is available to man is snatched away.
38:79. Iblees said, “O, My Rabbu! May I continue with my domination over such living corpses until the time of awakening by Your guidance?”
38:80. “Of course, We give you that opportunity.”
38:81. “As long as there is no enlightenment in the people, your domination will continue.”
When the man is awakened by Allah’s guidance, the satanic qualities will depart from him.
38:82. To which Iblees replied, “O, My Rabbu! Because you have led me astray, I will make all the evil deeds of this world appear to them beautiful (see 6:43) and lead them all astray.”
Did you notice? It is this wrong notion that operates within man and makes him think that every wrong deed he does is beautiful and very good. This situation occurs to him because of the lack of knowledge of His guidance. All the evil deeds that are going on in today’s world are displayed with decorations to make it look beautiful. Al Qur’an is the only text in front of the man to know whether what he is doing is right or wrong.
38:83. And Iblees said, “I acknowledge that my dominion extends to all people, except the righteous who follow Your guidance."
38:84. This is the plan of Rabbu concerning man. So it is on this basis that man today lives his life in the course of his mind and faces destruction. That's why
Here we give an explanation once again, as already explained in 2:30-39. That is, countries that do not study the natural forces of the universe will not make any progress. In addition, the people of that country will have to live in superstition without any work. That is why this Scripture often mentions the creation of the universe in the Holy Quran and stimulates human thought.
So, it is the advice of Rabbu that man should use the forces of nature to create all the things he needs. At the same time, it is Rabbu’s command to use them for creative purposes.
If a man acts according to his mental will and does not accept the instruction of Rabbu, these same creations become the root cause of his destruction. Take nuclear research, for example. It can also be used for human resource development. It can also be used to make nuclear weapons that have destructive effects. This is the explanation we have given to the letter “Swadh” at the beginning of this chapter.
38:85. According to the plan of Rabbu, all those who go astray according to their desire will fall prey to the abyss of hell and perish. They can never escape from this.
38:86. The Reformists used divine guidance to illustrate the greatness of the world with this example of Adam. He is speaking for the benefit of the people and not for his own gain and to save mankind from destruction. Otherwise, he is not going to have any trouble.
38:87. That is why all that is said in this Qur’an is good advice for the people of the whole world.
38:88. If you follow the advice of this Qur’an, you will know its benefits after a while. If you refuse to accept them, you will know the consequences after a while.
These are the facts that have happened and are about to happen.
