بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Whatever program we initiate in our life, will be as per the Pre-Directed Guidelines of Allah, the Most Benevolent and the Most Merciful. (6:162)
الٓمٓ١
ا - The letter Aleef denotes Allah. - لٓ - The letter Laam denotes La Ilaha Illa Huwa which means none other than Allah Who controls the whole of the universe. - مٓ - The letter Meem denotes Muhammed.
30:1. This is the Book which was blessed to the Reformist Muhammad Nabi by Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful, and who controls the whole of the universe.
غُلِبَتِ ٱلرُّومُ٢
30:2. The fact is that Romans are being defeated by the Iranians.
This defeat of the Romans was very good news for the idolators living in the Arab country. At that time, Syria, Palestine, and Egypt altogether had become the superpower called Roman Empire. The country was invaded by another superpower, the Persian Empire headed by Iran. This war took place in AD. 603 to 624 lasted approximately for 21 years. The Romans were defeated in the initial stage.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Nabisal was born in 570 AD. Received the status of Nabi in 610 AD. He preached to the Mecca people for about 13 years. Those who accepted the guidance of Allah were persecuted by the local arrogant in many ways. (See 4:75) So Muhammad Nabisal emigrated in 623 AD. from Mecca and went to Medina. Some of his followers too migrated to Medina. Muhammad Nabisal went to Medina, where he established a democratic rule called “Khilafat”. The Maccan arrogant did not tolerate this and in 624 AD prepared an army of a thousand men and sent it to Medina. This is called the Battle of Badru. In this battle, the Meccan troops were defeated. In the same year, the Roman army also defeated the Iranians. This was also doubly good news for the Muslim activists.
فِيٓ أَدۡنَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ غَلَبِهِمۡ سَيَغۡلِبُونَ٣
30:3. The Roman Empire, which is close to the Arab world, will soon defeat the Iranians and reign the victory.
فِي بِضۡعِ سِنِينَۗ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَمِنۢ بَعۡدُۚ وَيَوۡمَئِذٖ يَفۡرَحُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ٤
30:4. They will have success in a few years. But whether in the past or the future, success or defeat depends on arrangements as per Allah's framed laws. So, the victory of the Romans as per the Pre-Directed Laws of Allah and the victory of the Islamic Activists in the battle of Badru will be good news.
بِنَصۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ يَنصُرُ مَن يَشَآءُۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ٥
30:5. Remember. The help of Allah in battle will be only as per framed rules. Only those who make war arrangements according to the guidance of Allah will get that help. (See 8:60) No one can trespass these rules of Allah. Rabbu is merciful in the sense that He makes such arrangements only to control the wickedness of the world. (Ref. 2: 251)
That is, there is no point in simply having the desire that one must win or the other must be defeated. Efforts should be made accordingly. (See 8:60) Victory comes only to those whose ammunition and war tactics are superfluous. There is no discrimination between Muslims and non-Muslims as far as the Law of Allah is concerned.
وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِۖ لَا يُخۡلِفُ ٱللَّهُ وَعۡدَهُۥ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ٦
30:6. These are the standard legal definitions of Allah. There will be no change in this. Because the promise of Allah can never go wrong. But most people do not know this.
But in war-torn countries, there is no higher ideal nowadays. They will fight for the domination of one over the other. The reason:
يَعۡلَمُونَ ظَٰهِرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ غَٰفِلُونَ٧
30:7. The people’s vision is short-sighted and will be concerned about timely luxurious life. That's all they know. They do not know about the special life with humanity, the future stable life, or the life after death. Even if you reveal these facts, they will not pay attention to them.
But those who accept and follow the guidance of Allah will not act in this way. They will fight to suppress the unjust wicked rule in the world and never capture or dominate other countries. (Psalm 22:39) And their goal is to help the entire human race live in peace. Now think for yourself. Should a country living with such lofty ideals succeed or should domination fanatics succeed?
أَوَ لَمۡ يَتَفَكَّرُواْ فِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۗ مَّا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِلِقَآيِٕ رَبِّهِمۡ لَكَٰفِرُونَ٨
30:8. Is it fair to say that these people should succeed or the other side should succeed without thinking anything about His rules? Do they not realize that Allah has created everything between the universe and the earth in such a way that it is beneficial to all with creative intentions? And don't they notice that they all perform excellently as per framed timings? Most people do not think about it at all and do not know that they will face the consequences of their wrongdoing.
أَوَ لَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗ وَأَثَارُواْ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَعَمَرُوهَآ أَكۡثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوهَا
30:9. If they want to know these facts, let them travel and look at the world. Let them see how the previous communities have suffered a lot by devastation as a result of superstitious beliefs without thinking of anything. Those communities were stronger than these. They had many times more livelihoods than these people have.
وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ٩
The reformists who came to them asked them to give up living in superstition and advised them to think and act intellectually. But because they blindly committed unjust acts, they were doomed as per the law of Allah. So, Allah never wronged them. They have wronged themselves.
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَٰٓـُٔواْ ٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓ أَن كَذَّبُواْ بَِٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَانُواْ بِهَا يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ١٠
30:10. Moreover, they sought to disprove the counsel of Allah by saying that it was all unnecessary. As they could not disprove it, they were making fun of them. So, their evil deeds resulted in social disorder and their destruction. Thus, evil befell those who did evil.
ٱللَّهُ يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ١١
30:11. Let them consider the law of Allah's creation. All the creations are created according to the laws He has enacted. They all gradually grow at a slow pace and fully develop in their own way. Thus, each one goes towards the goal set by Allah.
Similarly, the consequences of evil deeds that take place in the community gradually develop, and at some point, they come to the fore.
وَيَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يُبۡلِسُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ١٢
30:12. Each of the world's creations has a time frame to grow and take a final stage. That's how they grow. Similarly, the duration of the effects of human actions has also been determined. According to them, they will grow and come into force. Then those who do evil deeds will fall into the grip of despair.
That is, they are sure to perish just as previous societies perished.
وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُم مِّن شُرَكَآئِهِمۡ شُفَعَٰٓؤُاْ وَكَانُواْ بِشُرَكَآئِهِمۡ كَٰفِرِينَ١٣
30:13. None of the conspirators who have corrupted the community in such a period can be saved from the misery of the misguided. They will not be able to ask for help from the misguided.
وَيَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَتَفَرَّقُونَ١٤
30:14. Thus those who misguided the people and those who are misguided will focus on maintaining the status quo. How can they care about redeeming others from afflictions? Thus, division will occur between them.
فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَهُمۡ فِي رَوۡضَةٖ يُحۡبَرُونَ١٥
30:15. On the contrary, such disgrace will not befall the communities which have accepted the guidance of Allah, devised creative social welfare schemes accordingly, and are working for it. They will all live happily with dignity.
وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بَِٔايَٰتِنَا وَلِقَآيِٕ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَ١٦
30:16. Therefore, a community that denies the guidance of Allah, will have to face the consequences of their own deeds. Living in a state of mindlessness and denying guidance will make them suffer.
فَسُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ حِينَ تُمۡسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصۡبِحُونَ١٧
30:17. So whichever community it be! Whether it is in the early stages of growth or its growth is on the verge of collapse, it must come forward to act according to His guidance. When it does, it will be the way to solve all human problems.
وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَعَشِيّٗا وَحِينَ تُظۡهِرُونَ١٨
30:18. All the plans of Allah will be worth thousands of praises, as all His creations in the universe and earth function excellently and are beneficial to all. So, when a community functions in the most beautiful way, the darkness around them will change. They will get a clear solution to all their problems and lead an excellent life.
يُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡحَيَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَيِّتِ وَيُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡمَيِّتَ مِنَ ٱلۡحَيِّ وَيُحۡيِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ تُخۡرَجُونَ١٩
30:19. Just as Allah brings the barren earth to life with rainwater, He guides the people to become an enlightened community through this Scripture. (See 16:64-65) At the same time, if a community abandons His guidance, it will eventually lose all its potential and become a lifeless community. This is the standard law of Allah.
These are not the result of sudden twists or miracles. Explore the workings of Allah's creations in the universe and the world. You will find that they all work as per the procedure framed by Him. That is how societies grow and fall. For example
وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَنۡ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٖ ثُمَّ إِذَآ أَنتُم بَشَرٞ تَنتَشِرُونَ٢٠
30:20. Take human creation. It was formed from the nutrients of the soil during the initial period. From the stage of being a cell, it passed through many stages and arrived in human form. (See 32:7-9) (23:13-14) Those cells were divided into two, male and female (see 4: 1). Thereafter, the human race spread all over the world through the conjugation of males and females. (See 4:1) All these were created under the plan of Allah. Those who use their intellect and live will have clear evidences from these.
The nutrients available in the soil turn to varieties of foods and help to grow sperm in males and all the nutrients needed for the development of the fetus to the child are assigned in the female womb. So, man is created from dust even day.
وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَنۡ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا لِّتَسۡكُنُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيۡنَكُم مَّوَدَّةٗ وَرَحۡمَةًۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ٢١
30:21. Both males and females, created under the law of creation of Allah, are paired with one another. Thus, they are mutually compatible with each other and complement each other's welfare. Thus, they get contentment and peace of mind in their life. Only contemplative people can learn about the evidence of Allah's power.
وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ خَلۡقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱخۡتِلَٰفُ أَلۡسِنَتِكُمۡ وَأَلۡوَٰنِكُمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡعَٰلِمِينَ٢٢
30:22. Then explore the vast universes and the creation of the earth. Notice how many languages there are in this world. Notice how many different colors and shapes there are in human creation. Despite these differences in colors, languages, and forms, the human race has become one (See 2:213).
وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ مَنَامُكُم بِٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱبۡتِغَآؤُكُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَسۡمَعُونَ٢٣
30:23. Is that all? It is Allah Who has made arrangements for you to take rest at night and to seek His blessings by working during the day. If you reveal these facts, the people have to re-think their position. How can those who do not come forward to hear them, know about the blessings of the Rabbu?
وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ يُرِيكُمُ ٱلۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفٗا وَطَمَعٗا وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَيُحۡيِۦ بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَآۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ٢٤
30:24. And examine the rain and the lightning which Allah has ordained for the whole world. Dry earth thrives on rainwater from the sky. Lightning strikes, giving the earth chemical energy and helping to make it green. (See 13:12-13) Without all these provisions, what would the life of human beings be? Only people who use knowledge can understand all these facts. But you have a craving for rainwater and fear of thunders and lightning.
وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَن تَقُومَ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ بِأَمۡرِهِۦۚ ثُمَّ إِذَا دَعَاكُمۡ دَعۡوَةٗ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِذَآ أَنتُمۡ تَخۡرُجُونَ٢٥
30:25. And examine how Allah, by His grand action plan, has caused the earth to remain in gravity and move on its orbit rapidly in the sky. (See 36: 38-40) Have you noticed that one day you will have to accept the call of Allah and leave this earth?
This verse can be interpreted in two ways. First, with the death of man, his life journey will continue on another planet or in the sky. It means "Alame Barzaq" (see 23: 100). Second, this would mean that man is forced to leave this world to do astronomical research and discover the facts of how other planets and worlding work to meet his requirements. So, who can deny the immense power of Allah anyway? The reason is that
وَلَهُۥ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ كُلّٞ لَّهُۥ قَٰنِتُونَ٢٦
30:26. All creation in the universe and on earth is working to fulfill the plans of Allah. Each of them operates according to the rules of law prescribed by Allah. (See 16: 49-50)
As for the other creations, you mention them as “Natural creations”. You do not see any change in their functions. So, they are beautiful. Man is one of the creations of Allah. So, his life will be better, only if he also lives according to the rules of Allah. Because,
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَهُوَ أَهۡوَنُ عَلَيۡهِۚ وَلَهُ ٱلۡمَثَلُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ٢٧
30:27. Everything that happens from the beginning to the end is according to the law of Allah. All of His schemes are functioning in full swing. Thus, Allah has no difficulty in creating and growing to its full potential. Moreover, there are lofty purposes in the creation of the galaxies and the earth. And His creative plans are above all else and each is based on clear wisdom.
Yet the condition of man is different. He is living in an imaginary world without examining the grand creations of Allah. This creates many problems in his life. All His schemes described in verses 19 to 27 above are evidence of Allah's creations. They all function under the command of Allah. But people consider the creations of Allah to be equal to Allah and fear them! Is this correct? Thus, the method they follow in their daily life is different. i.e.
ضَرَبَ لَكُم مَّثَلٗا مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡۖ هَل لَّكُم مِّن مَّا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُكُم مِّن شُرَكَآءَ فِي مَا رَزَقۡنَٰكُمۡ
30:28. Do you treat your servants equally to you? Or do you take your paid servants as your partners? Not at all! You do not care about them as much as you value those who are equal to you. We cite examples from you to gain knowledge.
فَأَنتُمۡ فِيهِ سَوَآءٞ تَخَافُونَهُمۡ كَخِيفَتِكُمۡ أَنفُسَكُمۡۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ٢٨
Just as one gives due respect to his superiors, why does he not fear Allah, the Supreme Power? And why do they fear and worship the forces of nature that work under Allah? Why don’t you give equal status to those who are inferior to you? In this way, the guidance is explained clearly so that you could understand and function accordingly.
You must give equal rights to those who work under you and make their lives better. But you never do that. Instead, you fear those at the top ranks and interact with them with due respect. Only in the case of Allah, you imagine and fear the natural forces created by Him as co-gods. And if you do not make efforts to raise the living standards of the people at the grassroots level, it will lead to your destruction. You must have acted in fear of this. Such an outlook prevails in capitalist social systems. This needs to be fixed.
بَلِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُم بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖۖ فَمَن يَهۡدِي مَنۡ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ٢٩
30:29. Thus without any educational wisdom, without caring about the future of the community at all, they commit unjust acts and act according to their own will. How can such misguided people get the guidance of Allah? Who else will help those who disregard the advice of Allah?
فَأَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفٗاۚ فِطۡرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِي فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَيۡهَاۚ لَا تَبۡدِيلَ لِخَلۡقِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلۡقَيِّمُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ٣٠
30:30. O Followers of the guidance of Allah! You should leave this trend and focus your full attention on the side of Islam that protects the welfare of people from all walks of life. Just as Allah created you all according to His law of creation (see 23:12-14; 32: 8), He has prescribed the laws for you to follow. You will not find any change in the law of creation of Allah. Likewise, you will not find any change in the guidance of Allah. These are the unchanging Laws of Allah. But most people are not aware of these facts.
۞مُنِيبِينَ إِلَيۡهِ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَلَا تَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ٣١
30:31. So, pay full attention to the guidance of Allah. Fear the perverse consequences of acting against the advice of Allah. Establish the system of Social Integration that teaches the moral values of the community. Only then will people from all walks of life come together to form a united community. (See 2: 213) Do not allow the people to live according to their will and pleasure as the idolators do.
مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُواْ دِينَهُمۡ وَكَانُواْ شِيَعٗاۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۢ بِمَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ فَرِحُونَ٣٢
30:32. If you neglect Social Integration which teaches such moral virtues, many divisions will arise in the community. Each of them will create their own rules and follow them. And over time, they will come to terms with the fact that their approach is the most appropriate. Remember. Causing division in guidance is the greatest sin. (See 3:104, 6:160, 23:53 &. 42:13)
وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلنَّاسَ ضُرّٞ دَعَوۡاْ رَبَّهُم مُّنِيبِينَ إِلَيۡهِ ثُمَّ إِذَآ أَذَاقَهُم مِّنۡهُ رَحۡمَةً إِذَا فَرِيقٞ مِّنۡهُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ يُشۡرِكُونَ٣٣
30:33. Only when problems arise with such divisions, they will turn to Allah. They will be praying to Him. If they act in the way He has shown their problems will be solved and they will get a comfortable life. But many of them follow other methods equating to the laws of Allah.
لِيَكۡفُرُواْ بِمَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡۚ فَتَمَتَّعُواْ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ٣٤
30:34. Thus without the guidance of the Rabbu, they are only able to enjoy pleasures for a short time. Then they will have a lot of problems again as before. Only then will they understand what is true.
أَمۡ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٗا فَهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يُشۡرِكُونَ٣٥
30:35. Know this too. All the idols they have set up as gods are based on their own fantasy. There is no proof for them from Allah.
وَإِذَآ أَذَقۡنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحۡمَةٗ فَرِحُواْ بِهَاۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَيِّئَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ إِذَا هُمۡ يَقۡنَطُونَ٣٦
30:36. Thus, you will find a mixture of pleasure and pain in their life. They rejoice when they receive the blessings of Allah. But when they suffer from evil deeds that they do on their own, they become frustrated and lose their peace of mind. This is what has been going on since ancient times.
أَوَ لَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ٣٧
30:37. One more thing to keep in mind. Allah does not discriminate in the matter of livelihoods (see 17:20) but livelihood facilities do increase for those who work efficiently. They are rarely available to unskilled groups. (See 53:39) Those who have accepted His guidance will find much evidence from this.
That is to say, if we take it as a community, the people there will be in various fields such as agriculture, weaving, trade, education, health, etc. (See 92:1-4) Only when they all come together can a community be formed. There may be fluctuations in the livelihoods derived from these. A community that accepts His guidance will eliminate these differences and make a way to share equally on the basis of everything for all and live in unity.
فََٔاتِ ذَا ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ وَٱبۡنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ٣٨
30:38. Thus, the followers of guidance do not restrict their relatives from getting their due share of livelihoods. They will also work to remove the grievances of the disabled and the disadvantaged people (4:36). And they will give as much as they can to help Rabbu's regime which works to protect people from all walks of life. (See 2:219) Doing so is only for their own good. There should be no advertising in helping like this. They should extend helps only to get Allah's approval. Such people are the ones who succeed in the goal of their life.
وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡتُم مِّن رِّبٗا لِّيَرۡبُوَاْ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَلَا يَرۡبُواْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡتُم مِّن زَكَوٰةٖ تُرِيدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُضۡعِفُونَ٣٩
30:39. How can a happy atmosphere be maintained, if there are thoughts of snatching away from the vulnerable people, thus spoiling the social equilibrium? When lending to vulnerable people, charging interest on them will stunt the country's economic growth. There may be some gains to investors. When you consider the whole community, it will cause ups and downs. Therefore, the community will grow at a double pace, only if it seeks the approval of Allah in helping for the development of the community. (See also 2:275-281)
Zakat is the amount of money collected for the protection of the people of the country and the development of the destitute. These funds are to be collected from wealthy people. But charging the interest is the exact opposite. Because it is about collecting from those who are poor and paying to the rich. This will widen the gap between the haves and the have nots and lead to social unrest, robbery, murder in the country. This leads to insecurity and the deterioration of all wealth. Conversely, if you pay Zakat on the advice of Allah, your security will be doubled. Further charging of interest is an act similar to running a competitive parallel government.
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُحۡيِيكُمۡۖ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَفۡعَلُ مِن ذَٰلِكُم مِّن شَيۡءٖۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ٤٠
30:40 Inform the people this too. “Allah created all of you. You get your livelihood only with the natural arrangement He has made. And you will not have eternal life in this world. You must have to meet death. Then Allah will raise you again and ask you for your activities. This is His action plan. Do your imaginary gods make any such arrangements for the truth to be like this? The immeasurable power of Allah is beyond your imagination. So, help Rabbu's regime which was created for the protection and advancement of people from all walks of life and make your life meaningful. Only then will you have a secure life in this world and in the life to come. This is what double happiness is all about.”
So, all the people will live as they please if they do not preach the counsel of the Rabbu and guide them. Over time
ظَهَرَ ٱلۡفَسَادُ فِي ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ أَيۡدِي ٱلنَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي عَمِلُواْ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ٤١
30:41. There will be chaos and riots everywhere. They will suffer a lot as a result of the evil deeds they are doing. This arrangement is to see if they repent, accept the advice of Allah and act accordingly.
The consequences of their evil deeds will take the shape of small problems in the early stages before they are completely destroyed. Take care of them and come forward to act according to the advice of Rabbu in the early stages itself. If you are careless and are determined to take care of it when it comes, after a while, those effects will suddenly come to a screeching halt. Then there will be nothing they can do but to suffer.
قُلۡ سِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلُۚ كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّشۡرِكِينَ٤٢
30:42. Ask them to look around the world at what has happened to many previous generations. Only then they can understand the extent to which Our claim is true. But since most of the people are idolators, who live as they please, they are not ready to think about it at all.
O followers of Allah's guidance! You do not do that. Accept only after you have researched and understood the guidance facts. (See 25:73)
فَأَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّينِ ٱلۡقَيِّمِ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ يَوۡمٞ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۖ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَصَّدَّعُونَ٤٣
30:43. Act according to these standard teachings that apply to all times. Pay your full attention to formulating governance plans based on them. (See 30:30) If you do not, you will surely suffer the same fate. This opportunity will not be available at that moment. The difference between the haves and the have-nots will lead to destruction.
مَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيۡهِ كُفۡرُهُۥۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَلِأَنفُسِهِمۡ يَمۡهَدُونَ٤٤
30:44. Any community that acts against the guidance of Allah will have its consequences. Conversely, any community that accepts His guidance and works on social welfare programs will reap the benefits. We have made such standard laws.
لِيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ٤٥
30:45. Those who devise and work for creative social welfare schemes under the constant guidance of Allah will reap the best rewards. The love of Allah can never be obtained simply by believing or acting against the guidance of Allah. They will never get such benefits.
Do not expect these benefits from Allah to be available in unnatural ways. It will be available according to the legal norms which He has already established. For example
وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَن يُرۡسِلَ ٱلرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَٰتٖ وَلِيُذِيقَكُم مِّن رَّحۡمَتِهِۦ وَلِتَجۡرِيَ ٱلۡفُلۡكُ بِأَمۡرِهِۦ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ٤٦
30:46. Take the atmospheric changes formulated by Allah. It brings you rainwater and makes you happy. That rainwater makes all the livelihoods available to you. The same wind helps sailing ships move from one place to another. On those ships, you carry the Rabbu's blessings of food and other supplies. These are in your favor to act according to the Rabbu’s instruction and live better.
That is, following the guidance of Allah will bring you many benefits, just as the wind created by Allah is beneficial to you in many ways. Those benefits will help create a variety of new benefit health plans. These are the benefits from Allah.
وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِمۡ فَجَآءُوهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْۖ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيۡنَا نَصۡرُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ٤٧
30:47. This is the good news that the previous reformists also tried to convey to the people of his community. They also explained each subject clearly and concisely. Those involved in illegal activities were severely punished. Those who accepted the guidance of Allah and did good deeds lived better with the help of Allah.
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي يُرۡسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابٗا فَيَبۡسُطُهُۥ فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ يَشَآءُ وَيَجۡعَلُهُۥ كِسَفٗا فَتَرَى ٱلۡوَدۡقَ يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡ خِلَٰلِهِۦۖ فَإِذَآ أَصَابَ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ٤٨
30:48. We bring to your attention again the example of the wind which Allah has created. By the command of Allah, that wind pulls up the moisture in the ocean and forms clouds. And as per the Pre-Directed Laws of Rabbu, the wind thickens and divides the clouds into many parts and makes it rain in many places. This kind of rain makes all of you happy.
وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡهِم مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَمُبۡلِسِينَ٤٩
30:49. There were many frustrations to the people in anticipation of rains.
فَٱنظُرۡ إِلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِ رَحۡمَتِ ٱللَّهِ كَيۡفَ يُحۡيِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَآۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمُحۡيِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ٥٠
30:50. Think for yourself of this great provision of Allah. Notice how the lifeless earth thrives on rainwater. Thus does Allah raise the dead. Notice that the infinite powers of Allah are hidden in every creation.
That is, the practical law of Allah is to create air and let rainfall from it. It is the duty of man to use that rainwater and produce living things from it. If it is not used, the loss will be to the man himself and not to Allah who made it rain.
Similarly, sending guidance through the reformists is an arrangement made by Allah. Whether or not to accept them is a matter left to human will. (See 18:29) If it is accepted, the community will be revived and will find ways to live better. So, the benefits and consequences will be the same as how you act. This is the greatness of Allah.
وَلَئِنۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رِيحٗا فَرَأَوۡهُ مُصۡفَرّٗا لَّظَلُّواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ يَكۡفُرُونَ٥١
30:51. And the same wind which Allah has created causes the crops to ripen and turn golden. Then you harvest it and take it away. Then you act against the advice of Allah, thinking that all that yield belongs to you alone
Would you have been able to farm and get food grains without all the provisions of Allah? (See 56: 63-73). This is the debt of gratitude you owe to Allah.
فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسۡمِعُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَلَا تُسۡمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا وَلَّوۡاْ مُدۡبِرِينَ٥٢
30:52. Those who do not think and accept all these instructions are the ones who live as dead. You can not make such people to listen to the truths of guidance. These are the deaf who do not listen to your invitation towards good. You can't make such people listen. Nor can your prayers be heard by the dead saints.
وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَٰدِ ٱلۡعُمۡيِ عَن ضَلَٰلَتِهِمۡۖ إِن تُسۡمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤۡمِنُ بَِٔايَٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ٥٣
30:53. Similarly, those who live blindly in superstition cannot be led to the right path You can only guide those who come forward to accept His guidance.
۞ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعۡفٖ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ضَعۡفٖ قُوَّةٗ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّةٖ ضَعۡفٗا وَشَيۡبَةٗۚ يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡقَدِيرُ٥٤
30:54. And look at the law of creation of Allah. When a child is born, it is very weak. After that, it gradually gains strength. Then in old age, he regains his weakness and hair loss. (See 16:70) Thus everything happens according to the plan of Allah, as far as his physical life is concerned. Thus, Allah knows best how to create, gain strength and become weak in the world. Allah is the One with such supreme powers.
That is, the law that works physically in the case of the individual also applies in the community. A weak community will develop into a strong community if it follows the guidance of Allah. If left unmanaged, they can be left astray and lose the right path. Man's life does not end with this worldly life. His life continues after death. Just like that, the good deeds and evil deeds that he did in his lifetime will follow to give results accordingly.
وَيَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يُقۡسِمُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُواْ غَيۡرَ سَاعَةٖۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَانُواْ يُؤۡفَكُونَ٥٥
30:55. A time will surely come when he will face the consequences of his deeds. He would lament that the time given to him was too short and that if he had been given more time, he would have lived a life of conversion. Such will be his miserable condition. he cannot avoid this.
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ وَٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ لَقَدۡ لَبِثۡتُمۡ فِي كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡبَعۡثِۖ فَهَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡبَعۡثِ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ٥٦
30:56. But those who accept the guidance of Allah and act wisely will not grieve in this way. They clearly know what Allah's legal plans are. They advise the people, “You have been given time until the final consequences of human deeds appear. Otherwise, the situation will say, Here it is! The time has come to end that grace period and face the consequences. You did not understand all these facts!”
فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مَعۡذِرَتُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ٥٧
30:57. The excuses made by those who have acted unjustly in such a period will never bear fruit. And they cannot take anything from Allah.
وَلَقَدۡ ضَرَبۡنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٖۚ وَلَئِن جِئۡتَهُم بَِٔايَةٖ لَّيَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا مُبۡطِلُونَ٥٨
30:58. Thinkers! In this Quran, We illustrate the hidden truths so that all the people of the world can better understand and act on them. Despite such intellectual evidences, those who refuse to accept His guidance say that these are tricks to deceive people.
كَذَٰلِكَ يَطۡبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ٥٩
30:59. Thus, the hearts of those who do not use their intellect according to the advice of Allah get sealed.
فَٱصۡبِرۡ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٞۖ وَلَا يَسۡتَخِفَّنَّكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ٦٠
30:60. O, Reformist! Stop worrying about such people and continue to strive to implement Our schemes. Our promise will never be wrong. So, do not let them think that you have retreated in your ideal.
