1Introduction.
Allah has revealed the principles of Islam to us through the Quran. He explains the guidelines by citing the evidence of historical events and the creations of the universe. This is because all those principles are based on clear wisdom. He urges us to examine the condition of the societies that live with different principles. He also informs us to examine the conditions of those community that does not do research works.
Apart from this, He explains many truths that are beyond human knowledge through examples and parables. The Arabs of that time did not have any difficulty in understanding and acting on them. This is because they were revealed in the language they spoke according to the custom of that time. They gained fame and glory in this world because they accepted those unimaginable facts and lived accordingly.
But as the ages passed on, they stopped following the Guidance and so those philosophical theories have all become epics. Furthermore, when translating the Quran, the translators have translated the sentences that were said in literary and figurative forms direct word to word. Therefore, they have become mysterious to the readers. We are writing this book to clarify them. On the contrary, please examine how the Quran has been revealed.
17:89. We have explained in this Quran from various angles through various examples so that all the people of the world can understand and accept the guidance of Rabbu and live safely. But it does not seem that people are acting on this.
18:54. We have explained in this Quran from various angles about every matter with many examples so that all the people of the world can clearly understand the guidance of Rabbu and live accordingly. But instead of thinking about it, accepting it and acting on it, man is only interested in making useless arguments about it.
2:26. Hidden truths can be understood only through examples. Allah is not hesitant to cite a mosquito or something smaller than it as an example to illustrate these truths. Those who accept Allah's guidance will examine those examples of Rabbu and act constructively. Those who reject Rabbu's guidance will speak negatively about what Allah intends through these examples. Many people go astray by speaking negatively. Others will accept this and gain the right path. So, those who deviate will go astray.
You may wonder if such examples are only revealed only in the Quran. Similar examples were given to previous generations also.
24:34. And certainly, We have sent down to you clear verses and examples of those previous communities who passed away and this is a reminder for the righteous.
We explain everything in detail so that you may understand the purposes of the guidance and act accordingly. We explain this with the evidence of history that lived before you and with various examples. This is a warning to those who fear the consequences of acting contrary to the guidance of Allah.
30:58. Thus We explain in this Quran the hidden truths through many examples so that all the people of the worlds may understand. Even if such intellectual evidences are presented to them, those who reject the guidance of Allah will say that these are tricks to deceive people.
30:59. Thus, a veil is placed over the hearts of those who do not use intellect according to the law of Allah.
29:43. We give such examples so that the people of the worlds may understand the truth. But no examples can benefit the people who do not think.
The numbers given here are the chapter number and verse number. For example, if it says 3:7, it means chapter 3, verse number 7. Please check it with the Quran. My dear friends! My wish is that you should read these carefully and achieve the goal of success in life.
2The Verses with clear meanings and parables
3:7 It is He who has revealed to you the Book, in which are clear verses. These are the basic purpose of the Book. The rest are verses of the Mutashabihath (meaning verses containing many hidden facts).
But those in whose hearts is perverted seek the interpretation of the Mutashabihath verses in direct sense, so that they may cause confusion.
No one knows its true interpretation except Allah.
And those who have broad knowledge will say, "It is from our Rabbu. We believe in it." And none will take heed from it except those who have knowledge.
1. Just as He has established practical laws for the functioning of all the universes, so has laws for man.
2. They are revealed in this Book.
3. The sentence structures of this book, which is the most perfect guide to human life, are of two types.
4. One is the “Muhakamath” sentences that give clear direct meanings. The basic purpose of this book is to make every matter clear.
5. The second types are the sentences told in the form of parables to give different meanings.
6. Those who are not interested in being rightly guided, give the literal meaning to the words of the sentences told in the form of parables and follow them.
7. In this way, they also create confusion among the people. Only Allah knows their true interpretations.
8. However, the scholars who have matured in knowledge will recognize their true status of parables to some extent.
9. And they will recognize and accept that all these truths have come from Rabbu.
10. No one will take good advice from them except those who have knowledge.
More Explanation
The sentences that give clear meanings of “Ayat-e-Muhkamath” are sentences that contain permanent commands and action plans. The phrases that appear in these sentences can be interpreted with a direct meaning. For example, the sentence Hurrimat Alaykum Ummahathukum (4:23) means “You are forbidden to marry your mothers.” This is a sentence that has to be interpreted directly. No other meaning can be given to the words used in it. Therefore, these are Ayat-e-Muhakammath. That is, they are clear sentences. Therefore, the intention of the Quran is that every sentence in the Quran should be clear.
Also, when the Quran talks about family matters, it speaks in a way that is literal and simple. But when it talks about general global matters, its phraseology speaks with grammatical and literary elegance. This is a unique feature of every language. For example, we say that the world laughed. It refers to the people of the world. We say that the stomach is irritating. It is a word that expresses our anger.
Similarly, the people's aggressive speech about burning Reformist Ibrahim Nabi in the fire shows the anger that had flared up among them. This is what the Quran says in 21:69: “O fire! Become cool for Ibrahim.” The correct meaning is the burning attitude of the people. That is, their anger subsided as he migrated.
Similarly, the Quran says in 20:20 that Reformist Moosa Nabi threw down his staff. It became a slithering snake. That is, it is not an ordinary thing for people to present the divine guidance that was in his hand. When he observed the opposition that arose from it, Reformist Moosa Nabi feared as if one sees the snake. In this way, the Quran becomes very clear rationally when intrinsic meaning is given in metaphorical way with literary style.
Apart from this, the sentences about the creation of the universe and their implementation are also said in a way that gives the different meanings to each other (Synonyms and similarity in meanings). The full truth of these is known only to Allah. But as human thought and educational studies develop, man can know its truth to some extent.
For example, it is said in the Quran that the sun is moving towards its path. (36:38) In ancient times, people had the idea that the earth was flat and the sun revolves around the earth. This sentence was evidence for that. But as man carried out scientific studies, he discovered that the earth revolves around itself and revolves around the sun, and the sun also revolves around itself and travels towards a destination with the planets in its family. Now the truth of that sentence has become clear. This sentence, which was mudashabihat (ambiguous), has become muhkamat (Clear). Thus, it is said that every sentence of the Quran is certain to become clearer. (41:53) The full knowledge of these is known only to Allah. Yes. But the wisdom that the man gains is limited. (See 17:85)
3Marital life
2:223. Your wives are your tillage, so go to your tillage as you wish, and send forth (the fruits of good deeds) for yourselves, and fear Allah, and know that you will meet Him. And give glad tidings to the believers!
1. Just as a farmer prepares the land before sowing, and examines the time, season, and nature of the seed he is sowing, so if you want to have a healthy child, you should consider the time, season, family income, and the health of both husband and wife and act accordingly.
2. Therefore, take care of your health and act with precaution.
3. Be sure that the consequences of every action you do will be according to Allah's decree, and you will have to face them.
4. Give good news that only those who accept Allah's guidance and act accordingly will receive good rewards.
5. Therefore, do not spoil your health by engaging in physical relationship whenever you like it. You should establish a planned family and give birth to the best children and contribute to the development of the country.
2:187. Your wives are a garment that fulfils your needs and you are a garment that fulfils their needs.
The relationship between husband and wife is as inseparable as the relationship between the nail and the flesh.
1. Thinkers! No one will have any doubt that among the living beings in the world, clothing is the one that helps to take man to a higher level.
2. Therefore, the help of the wife is necessary for the husband to reach a higher level. Similarly, the help of the husband is essential for the wife to live a better life.
3. Therefore, the relationship between husband and wife can be compared to the two wheels of a cart. Only when those two wheels move in the same direction will the cart called life move smoothly.
4. That is why the Quran condemns that there should be no reduction in clothing in society. It says, “Do not deprive yourselves of Paradise by reducing your clothing and make your life hell.” (7:27)
4The story of the two sons of Adam
It was customary in the society of the Children of Israel to tell a story. The Quran makes it clear what the truth of that story is. Read it carefully.
5:27. And recite to them the story of the two sons of Adam, when they placed a offering, and it was accepted from one of them, and it was not accepted from the other. The latter said, "I will surely kill you." The former said, "Indeed, Allah accepts offerings only from the righteous."
We make it clear again that this is just a story. For there is no room for any discussion in the way of Allah about accepting or rejecting offerings.
5:28. And he said, “If you decide to kill me, that is your choice. I will prevent it. But I will not do an act of injustice like you, for I fear Allah, the Rabbu of the worlds.”
5:29. “So let this wrongdoing be from you. For if I prevent it, then you will be responsible for its sin. And if I am killed, then you will be responsible for its sin. So, in any case, you will be one of the people of Hell. This is the recompense of the wrongdoers.”
5:30. But his heart did not listen to his brother, so he killed him. Thus, he sought his own destruction.
5:31. Then Allah sent a crow to inform him about his brotherhood. When he saw it digging on the earth to bury the dead crow, he said, "Alas! I am not even like this crow! If I had been like that, I would have hidden the body of my brother in the earth!" and he became vulnerable to injury.
1. We bring to your attention again that this is a story. The reason: There is no room for Allah of accepting or rejecting the offering. But the story says the opposite.
2. Secondly, it is said that Allah sent the crow to teach him how to bury the body. But the crow did not dig a hole and bury the dead crow.
3. Thirdly, the murderer should be worried about the unjust murder he committed. But he is worried about hiding the body. So, the story misleads people. They tell such stories to divert attention.
Even among the Muslims, they say, “Shane Nuzool,” and they say, “This verse” was revealed for this very reason under particular circumstance. They bring the guidance that should have existed until the world exists stands within a short period of time. As time passes, the story remains among the people. The law disappears from them.
5:32. Because of this, We decreed for the Children of Israel that whoever kills a person, except for murder or for committing evils in society, it will be considered as if he had killed all mankind, and whoever saves a life, it is considered as he had saved all mankind.
And indeed, Our Messengers came to them with clear proofs, yet most of them continue to be transgressors on earth.
1. Because of this, it is said that “Whoever kills a person unjustly, it is as if he has killed all mankind.”
2. The punishment for murder is death, and the punishment for spreading mischief is different.
3. But wilful murder is a social problem. Therefore, it deserves severe punishment.
4. And whoever saves a person from distress, it is as if he saved the whole of mankind.”
5. Such laws were made by Allah for the Children of Israel.
6. And indeed, the Messengers came to them with clear laws. But many of those who came later, narrated stories, and the stories became familiar to the people. The law disappeared from them.
5The community is a joint family
16:71. Allah has made some of you excel in wealth over others, so those who are so excelled do not give their wealth to those whom their right hands possess, making them equal in wealth. Do they dispute about the bounty of Allah?
1. If we take a community or a nation There will be various professions. There will be experts in each profession.
2. Each one of them will have its own special qualities. Only when all of them are combined will it be a society. There is no superiority or inferiority in this.
3. Therefore, the government should ensure that all people have an equal share in the basic needs. If you do not do so, then you will not be grateful to Allah.
16:72. And Allah has created for you wives from among yourselves, and from your wives He has created for you children and grandchildren, and He provides you with good things. Do they then deny the favour of Allah by believing in falsehood?
1. And consider the creation of Allah from among yourselves, in pairs.
2. Through them you will have children and grandchildren.
3. Everyone's cooperation is necessary for your families to be well-off..
4. For this, you divide the family responsibilities equally. Therefore, you are fulfilling their basic needs in a uniform manner.
5. But you are misusing the blessings of Allah by showing discrimination in the matter of protecting the welfare of the people of the country.
Morals: Only if there is a government that treats all the people of the country as members of one family and treats them all equally, that country will progress rapidly and become a great country. This is Allah's plan.
What I am telling you from this is that all the means of livelihood that you get are not through the arrangements that you have created. It is only because the rain that falls from the sky, the infinite nutrients and minerals found buried in the earth, the solar power and the power of the wind all work together that you are able to work and earn a living. These are all provisions of Allah. Therefore, according to Allah's advice, you should use them equally for all the people of the society.
6The Quran is a beacon
24:35. Allah brings light to the earth, so the Quran is like a lamp placed in a niche. It is in a glass, and the glass is like a shining star. It is lit with the oil of a blessed olive tree. It is neither from the south, nor from the north. Even if the fire does not touch it, its oil will shine. (All these together) is light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. Such are the parables of Allah for mankind. Allah is Knowing of all things.
1. Just as the power and might of Allah are spread throughout the universe and the earth, so this Book is a light for the better life of man. (See also 5:15 &42:52)
2. Just as a lamp is safely protected in a glass dome, and the glass is a shining star, similarly this Book, which contains divine guidance, is protected from the influences of human self-conception, rituals, traditions, and ancestral worship, and is a light that dispels the darkness of ignorance of the people and shows the right path.
3. Just as the lamp is supported by olive oil to continue to shine, similarly, divine guidance continues to help all ages, examples, lessons, and the activities of the universe's creations are the crutches for the enlightened life of man.
4. Just as a beaconshines in all directions, from east to west, so these guidelines are beyond country, language, and race.
5. Furthermore, the guidance does not lean in favour of the poor or against the rich, or in favour of the rich and against the poor.
6. Furthermore, it is not a guide for a specific community, but is a Scripture containing equal advice for all the people of the world.
7. Whether that guidance is followed or not, it does not change its position.
8. When a community follows this guidance, light will continue to shine upon light. And only those who wish to act according to Rabbu's guidance will be guided to a bright life.
9. Therefore, all these parables are given so that the people of the world may gain clarity and live better.
10. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
6:20. Those who were given the Book will know this as a person knows his own children. Those who have lost their own souls will not believe in it.
Those who were given the Book will know this as a person knows his own child. But those who reject it will be the losers.
7Islam shows right path of Life.
6:125. Whoever seeks guidance from Allah, He expands his heart to accept Islam - and whoever seeks to go astray, He makes his heart shrivelled like the heart of one who ascends to the heavens - thus does Allah punish the disbelievers.
1. Those who seek guidance according to Allah's plan (see 18:29) are the ones whom this Quran guides to a peaceful and prosperous life free from any defect.
2. This is Islam.
3. On the contrary, whoever seeks to go astray (see 17:15) is like a man trapped in a vacuum in the sky, unable to move in any direction, trapped in the web of rituals and traditions.
4. This is the punishment for those who refuse to accept the guidance of Allah.
14:26. The example of the evil theories (of the polytheists) is like a tree, uprooted from the earth, and having no standing.
1. The example of those who associate other priniciples with Allah is like a tree that does not bear any fruit.
2. Its roots do not reach the depths of the earth.
3. So that it has no strength to withstand even a slight wind, so it will fall down with its roots.
4. Thus, will the people who associate others with Allah be destroyed with its roots.
14:45. And they wronged themselves, and dwelt in their dwellings, and what We did to them has been made clear to you, and We have shown you examples.
1. Did We not inform you of the lives of many communities before you?
2. Did We not warn them about those who committed injustice and sought their own destruction?
3. Thus, We have explained through many examples the consequences of human actions that Rabbu has ordained (see 11:56)!
4. Despite knowing these facts, you are intended to change your position at all!
8Islam is a permanent guidance
14:24&25 (O Reformist!) Have you not noticed how Allah exemplifies good news? It is a fragrant one like a good tree, whose roots are rooted (deep in the earth) and whose branches reach to the heavens. It bears its fruit in every age according to the plan of its Rabbu, and Allah gives (such) examples so that people may gain understanding.
1. An example of the good ethics of life followed by those who live well is like a tree whose roots reach deep into the earth and are firm in their reach, spreading across the sky and yielding fruits and fragrances.
2. And that tree keeps on giving its fruit in all the seasons according to the law of the Rabbu.
3. This is an example of a society that works well according to the guidance of Allah.
4. Such examples are given from Rabbu's side so that people can be instructed.
48:29. An example of them in the Bible: Like a crop, it grows strong after it sprouts, then it becomes strong, then it stands upright on its stem, to the delight of the farmers, and with these he frightens the disbelievers - but those of them who believe and do righteous (good) deeds, Allah promises them protection and a great reward.
Description:
1. The regime created by the believers can be compared to a fine tree. It can be compared to planting a ripe seed in the earth, and it splits the earth and grows into a tender plant, which grows into a large tree, which gains strength with strong roots and stems to sustain itself, and continues to bear fruit. (See 14:24-25)
2. Thus, the regime will function in a way that benefits all. But this progress will only disgust the disbelievers.
3. Allah's promise is that those who willingly accept Allah's guidance and act creatively accordingly, will be blessed with such blessings. (See 24:55)
4. And such people will have a stable life.
9The Modern World
14:48. On the Day when this earth will be changed to another earth, and the heavens will be changed (they will be punished.) And they will stand before Allah, the One who is the One who suppresses.
Description:
1. Ruling governance based on Rabbu's guidance is sure to be established in this world.
2. Then this world will become a different world. Like the sky, the position of those who are in high positions will change and the governance will come into the hands of good people.
3. In such a time, all judgments and plans will be carried out according to the guidance of Allah, the One and Only.
10A Heavenly Society
13:35. An example of the paradise, promised to the pious - under which streams of water flow (forever), its shelter and its shadow are permanent, this is the end of the pious, the end of the disbelievers is the (hell) fire.
1. Those who accept Allah's guidance fear the consequences of deviating from it.
2. They will surely get a life similar to the promised paradise.
3. Generous economic facilities in such societies will be a never-ending stream of sustenance.
4. The fruits available there will be delicious and will continue like the shade of trees.
5. These are examples of good living. These are the rewards for those who act with piety.
6. On the contrary, the life of those who reject Rabbu's guidance and live in their own way will become hell.
47:15. The examples of Paradise which is promised to the righteous are : In it are rivers of pure water, and rivers of milk whose taste never changes, and rivers of wine that delight those who drink, and rivers of clear water, and therein are fruits of every kind, and security from their Rabbu. Is he like one who will abide in Hell forever, and will be given boiling water to drink, so that his bowels will be torn asunder?
1. Those who strictly follow the guidance of Allah are promised a community like Paradise.
2. How happy would it be if it were a land with rivers of pure water, and rivers of milk that delight those who drink, and rivers of clear water?
3. Thus, will they have the best life. They will have a provision that will not diminish, and a secure life from Allah.
4. Is it better to leave this good life and go to a life of boiling water and pain?
5. Are they equal to those who attain paradise?
11The garment woven by the old woman
16:92. Be not like a woman who spins a thread, then tears it to pieces. Do not make your promises a means of deceiving one another because one people are superior to another. Indeed, Allah tests you thereby. And He will make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that in which you used to differ.
1. Do not be like a woman who, after great efforts spun a thread, cuts it into pieces.
2. That is, if after having established social unity with great efforts, you act selfishly without keeping your promises to the people, there will be opposition and division in the society and the society will become fragmented.
3. Also, do not deceive the people by issuing false orders for fear that the minorities in the country will outnumber the majority.
4. All this is not conducive to social harmony. What is important is how you behave.
5. And do not forget that you are always under the observation of Allah.
6. If you act contrary to these instructions, the consequences of your actions will certainly become clear in due course.
12Can a camel fit through the eye of a needle?
7:40. Those who deny Our verses and are arrogant, the gates of heaven will not be opened for them. And they will not enter Paradise until a camel enters the eye of a needle - thus do We reward the wrongdoers.
1. A community that acts arrogantly, believing that the guidance of Rabbu is not correct, and blindly accepts the culture of other communities, will never receive the blessings of heaven. (See 5:66&7:96)
2. That is, they will never receive the heavenly benefits that come from following the advice of Rabbu's Scriptures.
3. For example, can a camel enter the eye of a needle? That is why they cannot follow their own ways and earn the life of heaven.
4. This is the punishment for those who ignore the guidance of Rabbu and go astray.
Dear intellectuals! This is the challenge of this Quran to the people of the world. If peace and tranquillity are to prevail in the world, there is no other go except to follow the advice of this Quran. If you follow any other method, you will eventually find failure (see 3:85)
13The example of the night and the day
17:12. We have made the night and the day two signs, then We have made the sign of the night faint (darkness) and We have made the sign of the day bright, so that you may seek of the bounty of your Rabbu - and that you may know the number of years and the account - and We have explained everything clearly.
1. Observe the night and the day, which occur according to the law of Rabbu.
2. At the outset, these two may seem to be opposites to each other.
3. But the darkening of the day and the removal of it and the light of the day are only for you to seek your means of livelihood and to know the number of months and years.
4. And note that We have explained everything clearly.
Just as the night takes away the light of the day, so evil deeds take away the benefits of good deeds. If you do not do good deeds, they will lead you to destruction. On the contrary, just as man has used his scientific knowledge to make the night shine with electric lamps, so too, with the help of the light of divine guidance, human life can be illuminated so that darkness does not envelop society.
27:86. Do they not see that We have made the night for them to rest therein and the day for light? Indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe.
1. They do not notice the alternation of night and day.
2. The night is made for rest and the day for work and earning. (See 78:10-11) Indeed, in that are signs for those who are guided.
Therefore, the quality of life of the communities that work with knowledge is very bright, and the life of the communities that do not work is becoming dark. All this does not happen on the basis of sudden changes. It happens gradually over a fixed period. That period may be fifty or a hundred years. Therefore, a community can live happily for a while without working. But in the end, it will be dark. This is what is called a living community and what is called a dead community. It is against those who live in comfort without working and live off the labour of others that rebellion, riots, and conflicts occur in this world.
14The example of the bee
16:68. And your Rabbu gave the bee its instinct. “Make your nests in the mountains and the trees and the lofty buildings,”
16:69. “Then eat of all kinds of fruits and enter into your union with your Rabbu in easy ways.” (And He created the inward feeling.) From their bellies excretes honey, a drink of varying colours, in which is healing for mankind. Indeed, in that is a sign for a people who reflect.
1. Consider the creation of Rabbu, other than man.
2. Take the bee as an example. According to the law of Rabbu, they have been given inner feelings.
3. Therefore, they build honeycombs in mountains, trees, and high buildings and collect honey.
4. Then, according to the law set by Rabbu, they suck the honey from all kinds of fruits and flowers and easily collect it in that honeycomb.
5. The honey thus sucked enters its stomach and turns into many colours. That is why honey also has many colours.
6. This honey is used to treat various diseases of people. Indeed, there are many signs for people who think.
In this verse, it is said that “wahee” revelation was sent to bees. That is, except for man, all other creatures, have been given ‘revelation’ so that they can act according to their nature. They all live according to it. That is, where should they live? Where should they get their food? How should they reproduce? Who will cause them harm? How to safeguard from it? No one teaches such things to those creatures.
But that is not the case with human beings. When a child, he does not know the difference between good and bad. He will grow up according to environment around him. His thinking will also develop in the same way. He will speak the same language as the people speak around him. He will follow the same culture as the people around him.
In short, except for humans, all other creatures live under the direct control of Rabbu. Therefore, they are all capable of benefiting the people of the world in some way or the other. If a man also accepts the advice of Rabbu and lives accordingly, he will also act in a way that benefits the people of the world. There will be a meaning to his being born as a human.
Just as bees store the honey they have sucked in their hive, similarly, if the man stores the wealth they have earned in their labour, and the surplus is used for the benefit of all, then inequality will be eliminated. A beautiful society will be formed. They will be useful for eradicating the suffering of the people of the society.
And if the honeycomb is collected at the right time, processed and distributed, then it will benefit the people. Otherwise, the bees themselves will drink the honey and fly away. Similarly, if wealth is hoarded, it will not be used for the development of the people of the country, and such wealth will lead him astray and lead him to destruction.
15The example of the spider
29:41. The example of those who take protectors other than Allah is like the example of the spider, which builds a house (for itself), but the weakest of houses. Least they know it.
1. The example of those who take advice other than Allah as their protectors is like that of a spider that builds a house. The house it builds for itself is very weak. If they only knew this, they would know that what they have taken as a parallel is very weak.
That is, Allah's guidance is to create a superior and strong country considering the security of all people. Without understanding this, they adopt other methods. Thus, they think that it is important to crush the weak and maintain their power.
Just like a spider builds a web and traps weaker insects in it and uses it as its food, so are they. But if attacked by an animal stronger than itself, it flees without the power to resist it. The house it built will not bear fruit either. Likewise, if the government maintains its power by weakening the poor, then when a stronger country attacks, it will be unable to counter it and fall. Any government that ignores Allah's guidance and makes laws on its own is as weak as a spider's web.
And they are intent on snaring the weak in places of worship like dargahs, fortune-telling and drug dealing. There is no intention of helping the poor people at all.
29:42. Surely, He knows what they call for help besides Allah - and He is Exalted (in all), Wise.
Explanation: Allah knows the reality of any community that abandons the guidance of Allah and rules by following other methods. But the rule based on the guidance of Allah is the best rule and based on wisdom. (See 9:33)
16Example of rain water
7:58. (With the same kind of rain) the fertile earth brings forth (richly) crops (greens) by the command of its Rabbu, but the bad waste land brings forth scanty produce, thus We describe the verses to a thankful people.
1. According to Rabbu's law, the earth is enriched with rain water and makes the crops grow luxuriantly and gives good yield.
2. But the yields are very meagre in the land that does not have the power to retain rain water.
3. In this way, Rabbu's guidance is evidently made clear to the communities that come forward to act with gratitude.
4. A society that has the maturity to accept Rabbu's guidance, will accept them and do creative good deeds accordingly, and make a prosperous country.
5. A society without such power will reap less benefits.
6. It is on this basis that many societies in the world have developed and fallen since the beginning of time.
30:50. (O Reformist!) Think of (such) signs of Allah's Mercy! How does he revive the earth after death? (Thus) surely, He is the Giver of life to the dead, and He is the All-Powerful over all things.
30:51. But when We send a (dry) wind and they see (the crops drying up) yellow because of it, then they remain disbelievers.
30:52. Therefore, (O Reformist!) You cannot make even the dead hear, and surely You cannot make (your call) hear the deaf who turn away (from your call).
Description:
1. Consider for yourself the great provision of rain that Allah has made.
2. Consider how the lifeless earth thrives with rainwater.
3. This is how Allah revives the dead. Indeed, notice the immeasurable power of Allah reflected in every creation.
4. That is Allah's act of making the wind and causing rain to fall from it. It is the duty of man to use that rainwater and make livelihood from it.
5. If one does not take advantage of it, the loss will be to the man himself and not to Allah, who sent the rain.
6. Similarly, the sending of divine guidance through Reformists is an arrangement from Allah.
7. It is left to human discretion whether to accept them or not. (See 18:29) If we accept it and perform, the dormant community will find ways to be revived and live better.
8. So, as you act, so will the consequences. The world will also be created.
9. This is the grace of Allah.
10. The same wind that Allah has created ripens the crops and turns them golden. Then you harvest it and take it away.
11. Then you act against the advice of Allah, thinking that all that yield belongs to you alone.
12. Could you have cultivated and obtained grains from it, if all the provisions of Allah are not there? (56:63-73)
13. Therefore, according to the advice of Allah, we should make a way to reach the crops to all the people of the society. This is your debt of gratitude to Allah.
14. Those who do not accept all these instructions are the ones who live like corpse.
15. You cannot make such beings listen to the guidance truths. These are the deaf who will not hear your call towards goodness. You cannot make such people listen either.
17What if the Quran were sent down on a mountain?
59:20. The people of Hell and the people of Paradise are not equal, but the people of Paradise are the most fortunate.
59:21. (O Reformist!) If We had sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would have seen it shaking and splitting apart for fear of Allah. And We explain the examples to mankind so that they may reflect.
1. Are the people of Hell, who act against Allah's guidance and suffer severe punishment, equal to the people of Paradise, who live according to Allah's guidance and enjoy all the pleasures of life? The people of Paradise are indeed the most fortunate.
2. Do you know who will inherit such a Paradise?
3. How deeply rooted are the divine guidance in their hearts that if they are told to act against it, they will fear it as if the mountain were to burst and fall on them.
4. We give such examples so that people may reflect on this and act.
Dear intellectuals! In this verse, it is said that if We send down this Quran on a mountain, you will see it tremble and split apart for fear of Allah. This is a proverb. We also say that a fence grazes the crop. A fence never grazes the crop. If anyone who is supposed to protect the crops like a fence, destroys it, we say this proverb. Similarly, if the Quran is placed on a mountain, it will never burst. Therefore, We have given the meaning of the followers of the Quran as an example.
18The example of a wasteland
18:7. We have certainly made the earth an adornment for it, that We may test those who are best in deed.
18:8. And We will certainly destroy what is on it and turn it into a wasteland of weeds.
1. It is natural for people to be attracted to all creations in this world because they are beautiful. (See 3:14)
2. But the purpose of Rabbu’s creation is to see who among those who have received these blessings will act in a beautiful way and live well,
3. Who will meet with destruction by misusing them.
4. Let us understand this with an example.
5. Take a piece of land. If you cultivate it well, make it well-groomed, plough it, water it, and cultivate it, it will become green and fruitful.
6. If you leave it as it is, it will become useless over time. The surface of that land will become polluted and unproductive. Isn't this the will of Rabbu?
7. Similarly, if people accept Rabbu's guidance, plan good and constructive projects, and work for it using their wealth, that society will also live well. The people of the world will also benefit.
8. On the contrary, if people abandon Rabbu's guidance and selfishness grows among them, then in the course of time, imbalance will arise in that society, there will be a slowdown in work, and imaginary stories and prayer altars will be formed.
9. In time, it will become a ruined society.
18:46. Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world, but the good deeds that last are the best in the sight of your Rabbu and are worthy of support with hope.
1. The condition of a society that lives selfishly and arrogantly, aiming only at temporary pleasures, can be explained with an example.
2. That is, according to the law of Rabbu, rain falls from the sky. Due to this, the plants and trees on the earth flourish.
3. The same plants and trees dry up and desolate, and the wind blows them away.
4. Thus, Allah's omnipotence prevails in all matters.
5. That is, just as the earth flourishes with the rain that falls from the sky, similarly, a society can be transformed into a living society with the guidance revealed by Rabbu.
6. And just as a fertile land becomes desolate if it is not properly maintained, similarly, if the divine guidance that emphasizes building and maintaining social moral values is not followed, no matter how economically developed and prosperous that society is, it will continue to deteriorate;
7. Therefore, the question arises whether wealth and children, which provide livelihood, are unnecessary. There is no doubt that they are tools that adorn the life of this world.
8. It is natural for people to be attracted to them. (See 3:14-15) They are not all excluded. (See 7:32)
9. But the position of divine guidance is that one should not live with that as the only aim.
10. If all worldly wealth is to remain, it is necessary to create a pure society based on divine guidance, plan welfare programs for its development, and help and work for it.
11. You should accept this as a matter of conscience and act accordingly.
57:20. Know: “Indeed, the life of this world is but play, amusement, and adornment, and (it is) a means of boasting among you, and of increasing wealth and children. (This is) like the example of rain, (that is) the crops which it produces, delighting the farmers, but soon you see it wither and turn yellow, then it becomes a powder. (So is the life of this world: so, for those who are deluded in the life of this world) is a severe punishment, and (for the believers) is the protection of Allah and His Favor - so the life of this world is nothing but a short enjoyment of delusion.
1. And know this also.
2. For those who disbelieve, the life of this world is but a vain play.
3. There will be much amusement and play in their communities.
4. Those amusements will appear beautiful to them. With them they will be proud.
5. And there will be competition among themselves to outdo each other in accumulating wealth for their children.
6. The lifestyle of such people can be explained with an example.
7. Rain falls from the sky and the land becomes green and prosperous. The farmer who sees it is overjoyed. But his crops soon dry up and turn into powder.
8. He did not have the ability to protect those crops before they turn into powder. Therefore, his joys become temporary.
9. Similarly, those who do not worry about future welfare plans and live only with temporary joys do not get any share in future joys.
10. Their life becomes miserable in the future. Therefore, the guidance of Allah leads to a permanent happy and secure life in the present and the future.
11. So, when we look at the permanent joys of the future, let them know that the temporary pleasures will be futile.
19The Unstable Foundation
9:109. Who is better? He who lays a strong foundation of a building, as per the law of Allah, or he who lays the weak foundation of a building on the earth, and it falls down with him into the Fire. Allah will not guide the wrongdoing people.
9:110. Their building which they have built will remain as a scar in their hearts until their hearts are torn to pieces. Allah is Knowing, Wise.
1. Think for yourselves. A person builds a building as per laws of Allah, seeking a lasting benefit. Is that better?
2. Or someone builds a building on the seashore, without any solid foundation on the surface of the earth. Is that better?
3. And how can it be a good building if it crumbles to dust and leads its inhabitants to the torment of Hell?
4. So, the wrongdoing people will never receive Allah's guidance.
5. In the same way, the social system that is based on Allah's guidance will bring lasting happiness, because it is built on a solid principle.
6. A building that is built on a wrong basis will not last in this world. It will collapse and be levelled to the ground.
7. When it collapses it will remain as a scar on their hearts. And their hearts will be shattered in grief.
8. This is not a mere threat. This is the word of the All-Knowing, the All-Wise, the All-Powerful.
9. That is, a social system that operates on a wrong principle will not last in this world for a long time. No way.
20The poor state of the communities
7:176. If they had acted according to Our will, We would have exalted them with Our guidance, but they preferred the life of temporary benefits and followed their own desires. His example is that of a dog. If you drive it away, it will still lick its tongue, and if you leave it, it will still lick its tongue. This is an example for the people who deny Our verses. So, narrate the stories so that they may reflect.
Explanation If the communities of the world had acted according to the will of Allah, they would have risen to a very high position. But they, instead of the lofty ideals of life, turned to the pleasures of temporary life and became slaves to their own desires.
As a result, their condition worsened day by day, and they became like dogs that gnaw at their prey. Whether you drive away the dogs or not, they will wander around without satisfaction. Thus, they will never be satisfied.
In the same way, selfish attitude caused imbalance in society, and they became corrupt. So, this is a precedent for the people who denied the guidance of Allah and followed their own desires. So, cite these historical evidences as examples so that the people of the world may reflect and realize.
7:177. Evil is the example of the people who denied Our verses, and they have wronged themselves.
Explanation: We reiterate. Remember that the example of the people who said that the guidance of Allah is not good and followed their own desires is very evil. Such people only wrong themselves, and Allah does not harm them in the least (see 4:40)
7:179. Indeed, We have created many of the jinn and mankind for Hell. They have hearts with which they do not understand, and they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Such are like the cattle. No! They are even more misguided than them, and they are the ones who have neglected (Our verses).
If we look at the conduct of life of such people, they will appear as if they were created for Hell. The reason: Both the urban and rural people living in the world. Although they have the thinking power, they do not seek to understand. They have eyes with which they do not observe the injustice that is happening in the world. They have ears with which they do not seek to hear the advice of Rabbu. Such are like cattle. No. They are living better by their nature. They do not have that either. So, they are worse than them. Such are the heedless ones.
14:18. The example for the efforts of those who reject their Rabbu is like ashes, which will be blown away by a strong wind on the Day of Judgment. They will have no control over anything they have earned. That is far astray.
As for those who reject the guidance of Allah and turn against it, their deeds will be easily burnt up and reduce to ashes. Just as the ashes will be scattered in a single wind, so their deeds will never bear any lasting benefits in this world. At such a time, none of the wealth they have earned will benefit them. This is the true meaning of going far astray.
21The destruction of the communities
2:266. Would any of you like this? - That is, he has a garden of date palms and grapevines, beneath which rivers flow, and in it he has all kinds of fruits, (Then) old age comes to him, and he has weak children - then a whirlwind of fire burns it (to ashes). (Would he like this?) Allah makes clear to you His signs that you may reflect.
A man has a garden full of date palms and grapevines, beside which rivers flow, and in it he has all kinds of fruits. He becomes old and he has young innocent children. In such a situation, suppose a scorching cyclone comes and destroys the garden. How much pain and sorrow would he experience then? Would you like such a situation to occur? These examples are given so that you can gain clarity. Are being.
Similarly, do you want the social system that you have built and protected for a long time to be destroyed? Or do you want the wealth that you have protected to be destroyed? Divine guidance is given so that it does not get destroyed like that.
Accordingly, protect the social balance. Establish an organization in a way that benefits all people and help it. Only then will you be safe from the adverse effects of social disorders. Otherwise, the youth of the future will not know what is the cause of the destruction of society. This will cause hatred and bitterness in time and they will become the cause of further destruction.
3:116. Indeed, those who disbelieve, neither their wealth nor their children will avail them anything against Allah - they are the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein forever.
Explanation Those who act against the guidance of Rabbu seek their own destruction. When those calamities occur, neither their wealth nor their children will be able to save them. Thus, their present life and the sustainable future will be miserable. There will be no way out of it.
3:117. The example of what they spend in this worldly life is like a wind that blows cold and destroys the crops of those who have wronged themselves. Allah does not harm them, but they harm themselves.
The example of those who accumulate wealth for a luxurious life without any future plan is like a breeze that blows from time to time. That is, they get only temporary pleasures. But in time, when it causes imbalance in society and turns into a storm of rebellion and chaos and causes destruction, there will be no way out. Thus, they wrong themselves, but Allah does not wrong.
10:24. The example of the life of this world is like the water which We send down from the sky, from which the earth grows crops of various kinds, of which men and cattle eat. Then when the earth has adorned itself with its crops, its people think that they have power over them, then Our command comes to it by night or by day. We make it as if it had not been there the day before. Thus, do We explain the signs for a people who reflect.
So let us understand by an example the society that seeks only the temporary luxurious life. According to the law of Rabbu, rain falls from the sky. With it, humans and other living beings get livelihood. Many types of crops grow. In this way, the earth looks beautiful and lush.
The owners of that land thought that all its crops belonged to them alone. At that time, suppose the crops were destroyed by a cyclone, storm, flood, etc., according to the law of Rabbu, at night or day, and it became as if nothing had existed there before. What would be their mental anguish then? The truths that are about to happen are explained to people who think in this way through such examples.
If countries that have worked hard and made progress over time, live selfishly with only the aim of temporary happiness, evil deeds and their consequences will also grow there. As a result of those evil deeds, unexpectedly, quarrels, riots and wars will arise and that country will be destroyed. Imagine how much they will experience mental agony then. To avoid such a situation, the divine guidance advises us to live with the aim of achieving lasting benefits in the future, along with temporary comfort. (See also 2:266)
7:185. Do they not consider the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that Allah has created? And what will they believe in after this?
And do they not examine the creations of the universe and the earth and all that is therein? Do they not observe that everything is in order? Do they not observe that every creation has a time framed for it, just as a seed grows into a tree and bears fruit?
And should they not be careful, knowing that there is a time fixed for the consequences of human actions? And what other principles (Hadhees) will they believe in after such a clear explanation?
16:112. And Allah sets forth the example of a town: It was free from fear and security. Its provisions (and livelihood) came to it in abundance from every direction - but it turned away from the favours of Allah, so Allah made it a garment of hunger and fear for what it used to do.
In a town, everyone lived in peace and security. There they had all their food and livelihood in abundance. But over time, they failed to obey Allah's command and live. That is, they began to cheat the people of all walks of life. As a result, the severity of hunger and the fear of the dangers of the victims surrounded them on all sides. Thus, the people who were living well became degraded and in torment.
16:113. And indeed, there came to them a Messenger from among themselves, but they denied him, so the punishment seized them while they were wrongdoers.
There came to them a Messenger from among themselves, to correct their wrongdoings and to reform their society. He used to advise them and warn them of the consequences of their wrongdoings. But the wrongdoers did not accept his advice, so the punishment overtook them because they used to wrong doing.
16:114. Eat of the lawful and good things that Allah has provided for you, and be grateful for the favour of Allah, if it is Him you worship.
O you who have been guided! Take pay attentions to our adivice and do not act unjustly. Take your share of the livelihood in accordance with the command of Allah, and act with gratitude and faith in the command of Allah.
Since the Reformist hood has been completed (see 33:40), no Reformists will come again. But we can also act on the path of the Quran that they have implemented and strive for the progress of society
22A society that has lost its powers and is dying
2:259. Or, like a person who passed by a village - all the roofs (of the houses in that village) were (collapsed and fallen) and he said (wonderingly): "How will Allah revive this village after it has died?" Allah made it die for a hundred years, then He brought it to life again,
and said: "How long did you remain (in this state)?" He said, "I remained (in this state) for a day or a part of a day." He said, "No! You remained (in this state) for hundreds of years!
Look! Your food and your drink have not changed in the least, but look at your donkey, We make you a sign for mankind, and look at the bones, how We assemble them, then clothe them with flesh."
When it became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah has power over all things."
The condition of the communities that live without guidance can be understood with an example. A person passes through a ruined village. The houses in it are in ruins. Thus, the village lies in destruction and dying. He passes by it, thinking how to fix it and bring it back to life.
Then, according to the decree of Allah, the village lies dead for a hundred years. If someone asks the villagers how many years they have been living like this, they say that they have been living like this for a few days. No. That village has been lying like this for a hundred years.
But there is no change in your food and drinks. This is because they are indispensable for survival. Similarly, the means of transportation have also remained stable. Use this as an example and understand the truth.
Also, consider how human creation is. Only when all the bones are properly structured and flesh on top of them is surrounded, can a human be formed. So, when he understood the truth with this example, he certainly came to know that Allah's great power and unlimited power are great in all matters.
That is, if the bones and flesh were separate, only the rotten bones and the ruined flesh would remain. Similarly, only if all the people of the village worked together could they create a prosperous society. If they lived individually according to their own selfish interests, the village and the people of the village would live as walking corpses and die.
So, if we look at this world that is in wrong direction and think what we can do, then this world will gradually go towards destruction. The lesson learned from this example is that those who know the truth of divine guidance should strive to eliminate the ups and downs here and create a harmonious society.
16:65. And Allah sends down water from the sky and gives life therewith to the dead earth - indeed, in that is a sign for a people who listen.
Just as Allah sends down water from the sky and gives life therewith to the lifeless earth and makes it flourish, so also, he reveals guidance, He revives a society that was living as a living corpse without strength and shows it the way to live in all prosperity. Thus, in this is a sign for a people who listen to the call of Allah.
16:66. And indeed, in the cattle (such as sheep, cows, and camels) there is a lesson for you. We give you to drink from between their dung and blood pure milk, pleasant to the drinkers.
Look at the cattle that Rabbu has created. You will find many lessons in them. The fodder they eat, after digesting it in their bellies, separates into dung and blood. Between these two, pure and milk is formed.
Similarly, in society there will be good people and bad people. If they are fed with the nourishment of divine guidance, just as pure milk is produced, great intellectuals will be produced. Just as milk is beneficial to all people, so these good people will come forward to improve the lives of all people.
16:67. You produce wine and good food from dates and grapes. Indeed, in this is a sign for people who reflect.
Take the fruits of Rabbu's creation, such as dates and grapes. From them is produced intoxicating wine. They are also good and healthy food. Indeed, in this are many signs for people who reflect.
That is, if the fruits that grow on the earth are properly preserved and used in a timely manner, they will be a support for the well-being of people. If they are not properly cared for, they will rot. Only alcoholic beverages can be made from that rot. Or they will have to be thrown into the trash.
Similarly, if children born in the world are raised well and fed with Rabbu's guidance at the appropriate time and raised properly, they will become beneficial to society. If you do not give them any education in time, thinking that they will grow up on their own, they will become evil doers in society. Then they will be thrown into the garbage of prison or Hell.
22:61 That is because Allah merges the night into the day and merges the day into the night. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.
Just as darkness merges into light, and darkness merges into the day, so will the wrongdoers have a period of respite. The wrongdoers will be enveloped in darkness. So, remember that Allah is Hearing and Knowing of all that happens in the world.
If we follow the guidance of Rabbu and strive for social development, the sufferings of the oppressed will be relieved and they will have a period of respite. Otherwise, society will remain immersed in darkness forever.
22:63. Do you not see that Allah sends down water from the sky, and thereby the earth becomes green?
Explanation: Do you not see the rain falling from the sky according to Rabbu's plan? Do you not see how the dry land becomes greenish with that rain water? In the same way, divine guidance leads a society that has withered without strength to live with renewed vigour. Know that Rabbu's plans are indeed very subtle and effective.
2:171 The example of those who disbelieve is like a herdsman who hears nothing but the call and the bellowing of a herdsman, deaf, dumb, blind, and they do not understand anything.
Let us give an example of those who reject the guidance of Rabbu and blindly follow their ancestors. Their prayers and worship will be like the cries and cries of a shepherd. They will not hear anything else. The shepherd will not know the meaning of the words he utters. Neither will the sheep. So are they. Such people will live deaf, dumb, and blind. They will not understand the good news that comes to them. (See; 7:179)
Therefore, at the time when the evil consequences of their deeds will appear,
33:67. “Our Rabbu! Indeed, we followed our leaders and our elders, but they led us astray.”
Explanation: They will say, “Our Rabbu! Indeed, we followed our leaders and our elders, but they led us astray!” They will be shouting loudly.
33:68 “Our Rabbu! Give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse.”
Explanation: And they will cry out, “Our Rabbu! Give our leaders double the punishment who led us astray and cast them into the worst pit of Hell!”
If this abomination is not to befall us, we must act with all speed and creativity according to the guidance of Rabbu. We must only convey the teachings of the Quran to the people. But the good of those who are immersed in superstition is this:
36:8. Indeed, We have placed shackles on their necks up to their necks, so they are raised up.
Explanation Those who follow traditions their conditions will be as if a horse were bridled, their necks are bound with chains of ritualistic rites up to their jaws. So, they are unable to think of anything except what their ancestors used to worship.
23Water of Illusion
24:39. And as for those who disbelieve, their deeds are like water of illusion in a desert, which a thirsty person thinks it as water - until when he comes to it, he finds nothing, but there he finds Allah (the end He has decreed for him), and He brings to account, and Allah is swift in reckoning.
As for a people who reject the guidance of Allah, which is a light of the heavens, and act contrary to it, their deeds are like water of illusion in the open dessert. Just as a thirsty person sees the illusion and thinks it is water, so also they wait for the results of their actions, believing that all their actions are good.
When he comes to the place of illusion, he finds nothing there, and the results they expect will never materialize. Thus, Allah's account will never fail in the matter of the consequences of every action. That is, everyone will find the consequences of his actions, according to the rules that Allah has determined.
24:40. Or (their condition) is like darkness in the deep sea, covered by a wave, and above that another wave, and above that a cloud, darkness, some of it above some. (Then) if he stretches out his hand, he cannot see it. For whom Allah has not made light, for him there is no light.
The life of such a people is immersed in darkness and becomes sorcery. Just as a person is drowning in the darkness of the deep sea, so too do many problems arise in such societies and they continue to flounder without being able to find a solution.
Not only that, but the waves of the sea drag him along, drown him, and wave after wave and clouds above him make him flounder in the darkness, so too do problems arise in society, and if they try to solve them, those solutions create more problems. (See also 2:17-20)
Just as a person who is trapped in such darkness cannot stretch out his hands or cannot see them even if he stretches out his hands, in the same way, a permanent solution to the problems of society can never be found. This is the disgrace of societies that ignore the divine guidance, which is the light of Allah.
24Those who have become monkeys and pigs?
Law and order are an important duty that everyone must adhere to. Whoever deviates from it, there will be corruption. And likewise, was there a law among the fishermen. Consider what they did.
2:65. And you certainly know those of you who transgressed the limits on the Sabbath, so We said to them, "Become like apes, shrivelled up."
Explanation: Once a fishermen community was prohibited to net the fish. Because of violating that prohibition, quarrelling, rivalry, and envy grew among them, and they became like monkeys and became humble. You know this fact of history well. This is also an eternal law of Allah. (See also 7:167)
5:60. Shall I inform you of those who were worse in reward from Allah? (Who are they?) Those whom Allah cursed and became angry with them and turned some of them into monkeys and pigs, and those who followed Satan - they are the most degraded, the most astray from the right path.
“Shall I inform you of those who were the worst in condition, as a result of what people did, according to the law of Allah? The evidence for this is the history of their forefathers. Because they disobeyed Allah’s commands, they lost all their blessings and comforts and were thrown into misery. As a result, human conducts vanished from them. Their standard of living became like that of monkeys and pigs. (See 2:65) They all followed their own desires. This is how the condition of those who have strayed from the straight path deteriorates day by day. Do you want such a condition to befall you?” Ask them.
7:163 (O Reformist!) Ask them about the people of the town on the seashore. They used to go beyond the limits on Saturday (the forbidden Sabbath). The fish would come to them on their Saturday. But they would not come to them on other days. Thus, did We test them because of what they used to do.
Ask them about the fishermen who lived by the sea. They were forbidden to fish for a few days a year. But they gradually began to fish. During the forbidden period, the fish naturally come to the surface of the sea to reproduce. They do not come at other times. That is why the prohibition was imposed. The fishermen, knowing this, began to fish. So, everyone there because of their excesses, the law and order in other matters also became corrupt. So, they became like the apes and pigs. (See 2:65, 4:47, 5:60, 16:124)
7:164. (When some righteous people in the city gave advice) some of them said, “Why do you advise a people whom Allah intends to destroy or to inflict a severe punishment?” They said, “To turn away from your Rabbu and perhaps they will turn away.”
As already mentioned in 7:159, there were some righteous people among them. They used to explain to them the consequences of disobeying Allah’s command. They said, “Indeed, Allah’s command is to punish those who disobey Him.” Some people said, “Why do you preach in vain to those who are destined to perish and suffer torment?” To this they said, “It is our duty to show them the right path according to the command of Rabbu. Therefore, we fulfil our responsibility to show them the right path. Perhaps they will repent and come to the right path? So, we teach them.”
That is, if a community goes astray, knowingly or unknowingly, it is the duty of those who have received the knowledge of the Book to point it out to them and correct it. Let them perish however they wish. If it is what has come to us, it means that you have received the knowledge of the Book but have not taught it for the benefit of the people. (See 3:104) Therefore, you too are guilty. And when that destruction occurs, you too will perish in it.
7:166. When they transgressed the limits that they were forbidden, We said to them, "Become apes, degraded."
Explanation: Their condition worsened as they transgressed, and they became like apes and swine, sinners.
7:167. (O Reformist!) And (remind them) of your Rabbu's declaration that We will make those who can inflict a severe punishment over them, to rule over them until the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, your Rabbu is severe in punishment, but He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Explanation: Therefore, when law and order are disrupted, evils and injustice occur there, and the community becomes very weak. Taking advantage of this weakness, other communities will dominate them and crush them. They are reminded of the promise of your Rabbu that this will continue until the Day of Resurrection. So, no one who follows the evil path can escape this punishment of Rabbu. At the same time, those who change their ways and act constructively will certainly get a safe life. Rabbu is the One who gives a chance for man to change.
Dear intellectuals! Allah did not cast them into a state of disgrace for the single offense of violating the prohibition of fishing. Because of their violation of that prohibition, the other restrictions in the society gradually relaxed. In the end, everyone competed with each other, envied and rebelled, and injustice and injustice spread there. As a result, the society became weak and lost all its qualities. This is what is happening in the world today.
25Spending in the way of Allah
2:261. The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that sprouts seven ears, each ear containing a hundred grains. Allah multiplies (this) for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
If one gives the surplus wealth he has to Allah’s social system, it will decrease. For example, if a farmer refuses to sow his grain in the ground, thinking that it will perish, and he uses it completely, how can he increase the production of food? Therefore, it is because he cultivates it properly that it multiplies, and he and others get food.
Similarly, if you do not help the plans of Allah’s government/social system, how can you fulfil the welfare plans of the people? Therefore, helping the government of Rabbu will not go in vain. It will also increase manifold and reach you. The wealth of those who work and live according to Allah’s advice increases. So, know that Allah’s plan is based on vast wisdom. (Chapter 2:261)
If there is no such government, form an association and do social welfare work.
26Charity disclosed to others
2:264. O you who believe! Do not make your charity useless by showing off and doing wrong, like one who spends his wealth to be seen by public, and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. The example of such is like a bare rock on which is a little dust, then a heavy rain falls on it and washes it away. Thus, they will not benefit from their charity at all, and Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
O you who have accepted the guidance! Do not give charity for puicity. If you do so, you will truly reject Allah and His decreed final consequences for human actions. Your charity will not be of any use. Just as rain falls on rocks and washes away the dust that has settled on them, so your charity will be of no use. Allah Those who act contrary to the advice of Allah will not be guided.
Dear intellectuals! It is said that charity for publicity is compared to disbelief in “Aaquira”. That is, if you give charity privately, you will develop beggars in the community. This is against the will of Allah.
2:265 The example of those who spend their wealth seeking the Will of Allah and to strengthen their souls is: There is a garden on a high (rich) earth. It receives heavy rain, then its produce doubles. And if it does not receive heavy rain, a drizzle suffices for it. And Allah is Seeing of all that you do.
Rather, you should establish an organization according to Allah's will and provide it with financial support from your own means, and through it you have to remove the suffering of all people and help them for their development. Such help will be fruitful. Just as the earth in the mountains produces abundant and good crops, whether it rains heavily or little, similarly, if you contribute your wealth to the organization of Rabbu and participate in the formation of a good community, good moral values and speed of action will grow in you. So, remember that nothing you do escapes the observation of Allah. That is, you will definitely get its rewards.
27Are these two equal?
4:95. Not equal among the believers are those who sit back and those who fight in the way of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with their wealth and their lives in rank over those who sit back.
Explanation: And among the believers are two groups. Among them are those who work tirelessly day and night in the cause of Allah, and those who plan and risk their wealth and live for it. On the other hand, those who do not participate in any such work and remain in their own occupation. They are not equal. Those who work for social reforms will be deserving for high ranks in the government.
5:100. (O Reformist!) Even if the abundance of evil surprises you, say, "Are evil and good equal? So, you who have knowledge! Fear Allah, that you may be successful."
Explanation Working for the development of humanity and for world peace are good deeds. All acts that cause destruction are sinful acts. Therefore, these two are not equal. But no one should be surprised at the abundance of evil in the world. If everyone does an evil deed together, they will think that there is nothing wrong with it. So, O, intellectuals! Do not function like that. Act only in obedience to the command of Allah. You will be successful in achieving your goal in life.
6:50. And you say: "Are the blind and the seeing equal? Will you not reflect?"
Explanation: "Just as the blind and the seeing are not equal, so are not the righteous who follow the guidance of Rabbu and the one who blindly following rituals are not equal. Will you not think it over?" "
6:122. And Just as the one who received the ways of enlightened life by which he walks among men, and another is in darkness from which he cannot emerge. Are they not equal? Thus is the (sinful) deeds that they do make fair-seeming to the disbelievers.
Explanation: The one who received the guidance for enlightened life spreads it among the people. The other is trapped in darkness and cannot come out of it. Are these two equal? Thus do the deeds of those who reject guidance seem beautiful to them.
That is, those who reject guidance find pleasure in being in darkness like a frog in a well. It is bitter to come out of the light. So, they delight in the rituals they have invented.
9:19. Have you made those who give water to the pilgrims and those who maintain the Ka’ba equal to t hose who believe in Allah and the Last Day and fight in the way of Allah? They are not equal in the society of Allah. Allah does not guide the wrongdoers.
Explanation: Is it enough to claim to manage the Kaaba, the main secretariat, and provide water and food to the people who gather there every year for the Hajj? Will they be equal to those who accept the guidance of Allah, accept the “consequences of human actions,” and dedicate themselves to the betterment of society? These two will never be equal. Therefore, they should be expelled from that secretariat. Those who do not do any such good deeds are the wrongdoers. How can they be guided?
11:24. An example of these two groups: (One group) is like the blind and the deaf, and (another group) is like the (good) sighted and the (good) hearing. Are these two groups equal in comparison? Shouldn't you think?
Explanation: An example can be given to explain the two groups. One group is like the blind and the deaf who cannot think and perceive. The other group is capable of thinking and acting on anything. Are these two groups equal? Think and answer for yourself. (See also 13:16-19&35:19)
Today's practical world is a witness to this example. We see that countries that think and act are better, and countries that are immersed in superstition are very backward. However, in economically advanced countries, there are still many problems related to human values. Their own growth leads them to destruction, because they are not guided by Rabbu. This is not the case in today's world. It has been the case for ages.
16:75. Allah sets forth an example: A slave who has no right to anything that belongs to another, and another whom We have provided with good things from Us, and he spends from them secretly and openly. Are they both equal? Alhamdu lillah (All praise is due to Allah) - but most of them do not know.
Explanation: If you want to give examples, you can give examples that Allah gives. One is a poor slave. He cannot act on his own. There is another. He has all the facilities. He gives from them to others for the betterment of society, secretly and openly. You tell me. Are they both equal? The second type makes the plans of Allah praiseworthy, right? But most people do not know this fact.
16:76. Furthermore, Allah tells an example about two people (and) One of them is a dumb (slave), powerless over anything, a burden to his master, and wherever he is sent he brings no good, while the other enjoins righteousness (to others). Is he equal to him?
Explanation: Consider another example that Allah gives. One is dumb. He has no ability. He is a burden to his master. Wherever he is sent he brings no good. The other is on the right path, and he enjoins righteousness and good deeds. Are they two equal?
That is, those who live in bondage to superstitions cannot do any good to the world. On the contrary, only those who are capable of thinking and acting independently can add benefits to the country and the world. All these facts are theirs. They are hidden from the senses of thought. Therefore, it is the main duty of each one to convey the divine guidance called Wahi to the people and awaken their awareness. And they should explain it to them through such examples.
32:18. So, is (such) a believer like a sinner? (The two) are not equal. Will the believers who strive to build a better and more prosperous country and the sinners who destroy social harmony become equal? These two will never be equal. The reason:
32:19. Those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them will be the dwelling places of Paradise as a guest because of what they used to do.
Explanation: A community is immersed in evil deeds and another community follows the guidance of Allah and works in accordance with it. This society will become heavenly as a result of their good deeds. All who live therein will be happy. These two cannot be considered equal.
32:20. But those who commit sins, their dwelling place will be the Fire - whenever they try to get out of it, they will be pushed back into it and it will be said to them: "Taste the torment of the Fire which you used to deny."
Explanation: A community that finds faults in the guidance of Allah and acts in opposition to it will be full of hell like problems. No matter how much one tries to get out of those torments, he cannot get rid of them. Many new problems will arise in the solutions to those problems. This Scripture warns about such torments. But they remain indifferent, thinking that nothing like that will happen. Circumstances are being created that say, “Look! Those torments have come. Experience them.” So, are these two types of communities equal?
35:19. The blind and the sighted are not equal.
Explanation So those who live blindly in superstition are on one side. Those who think and act based on divine guidance are on the other side. Are these two equal?
35:20. (Likewise) darkness and light (are they equal)
Explanation: Similarly, those who live in the darkness of the worship of their ancestors are on the one side. Those who live in the light of divine guidance are on the other side. These two are not equal.
35:21. (Likewise) the shade and the sun (are not equal).
Explanation Likewise, the one who is caught in superstition and is scorched by the sun and the one who is comfortable under the shade of guidance.
35:22. Nor are the living and the dead equal. Indeed, He makes those who call upon Him hear. You are not the one who makes those in the graves hear.
Explanation: And those who do good deeds and those who live for namesake are not equal. Thus, Rabbu makes “whom He Wills” hear. So, you cannot make those who live as corpses hear.
That is, Rabbu does not guide those who want to live in darkness, those who want to live as lifeless corpses, and those who want to live blindly. Rabbu makes those who think and act wisely listen. This is Rabbu's will.
35:23 You are only a warner.
Explanation: O bearer of the guidance! Your duty is to warn about the consequences of wrongdoing. It is up to each person to accept them or not (see 18:29)
38:28 Or shall We make those who believe and do good deeds like those who spread mischief on earth? Or shall We make the righteous like the sinners?
Explanation: Those who accept the guidance of Rabbu and work for the betterment of society are on one side. On the other side are those who spread mischief and chaos in the country and its people. Are these two groups equal? Those who fear the law of "the consequences of human actions" according to Rabbu, and those who follow their own desires and commit sinful acts. Are these two equal?
39:9. Is he who fears the Hereafter and worships his Rabbu in the night, prostrating and standing, seeking His mercy? Say (O Reformist): "Are those who know and those who do not know equal? Indeed, those who are reminded (through this Quran) are the ones who know."
Explanation: Those who accept the rulest of "the consequences of human actions" as determined by Rabbu, avoid wrongdoing, submit completely to Rabbu's laws, work day and night, and receive Rabbu's blessings. On the other hand, those who worship imaginary Gods and saints along with Allah. Do you say that the scholars and the ignorant are equal? So, the thinkers who use knowledge will accept the advice of Allah and act upon it.
39:29. Allah sets forth an example: A man has (servants) for many masters who differ with each other in their opinions, and another man has (servants) for one master. Are they both equal? Alhamdu lillah - All praise is for Allah! But most of them do not know.
Explanation: One serves many masters with different ideologies. The other serves one master with the same ideologies. Are they both equal? Praise be to Allah, Who has shown man the right path to a good life. But this fact is not known to most people. How can a society would it be peaceful if it were immersed in polytheism and with differences of opinion and conflict among its members? How great a society would it be if there were one Rabbu, one leader to guide the society, and a single-minded Scripture, and a society based on the principle of “all happiness for all”? Only in such a society will the praise and admiration of Allah continue to resound.
41:34. Good and evil are not equal. Repel (evil) with good! Then whoever was enmity between you will become like a close friend.
Explanation: Those who work well to bring about social balance and those who corrupt the society cannot be considered equal. Therefore, only if we strive for social welfare, will social evils gradually disappear. Then, all those who stood against you will become your best friends.
45:21. Do they think that We will make those who do bad deeds equal to those who believe and do good deeds? Are they equal to being alive and dead? What they have decided is very bad.
Explanation: Are those who work to spoil the society considered equal to those who accept Allah's guidance and struggle for the development of the society? Just as the living and the dead are not equal, so these two classes are not equal. It is very bad to think that both are equal.
47:3. This is because: Verily the disbelievers follow falsehood, and verily those who believe follow that which has come from their Rabbu-Thus Allah expounds to mankind their situation in parables.
Explanation Know the difference between the unbelievers and the believers. Apostates follow false ways and live in illusion. But the believers follow the beneficial methods for the development of the society according to the guidance sent down from their Rabbu. All the people of the world should understand this tragedy
47:14. So whosoever is on the clear path of his Rabbu, to whom the details of evil deeds are clearly shown to him, and yet who follows his own desires, is he like the previous one?
Explanation On One side are those who follow the clear guidance of Rabbu and are on the right path. On the other side are those who follow their own desires, think that everything they do is beautiful, and do all the wrong things. Will these two become equal? (See 45:21)
12:39. "O, My two companions in prison! Is it better to have many different Gods? Or Allah, the One who rules (all)?
Explanation: When Reformist Yusuf was imprisoned, he said, “My companions in prison! Think for yourself whether it is better to think of a deity and plead to them for every need of man or to obey the command of the one Rabbu who has the power to fulfil all needs. So, Allah alone is the Rabbu who rules over all the worlds.”
28One who pretends to sleep
39:42. And Allah seizes the living in their death and the immortal in their sleep, and then He retains (with Himself) that which He has decreed death. And He sends the rest (to live) for a certain term - for a people who reflect, surely in that are signs.
Explanation: Consider the state of human life. According to the law of Allah, death will occur to him. After his death he loses his status in this world. But every day he is getting sleepy. It is also like temporary death. But he manages to wake up from that slumber. Thus, he lives in this world for a certain period of time. There are many proofs in this for the thinking people.
This means that those who are immersed in superstition and live a mere life cannot be made to understand the truth of this Qur'an. Because there is no meaning in his life. The second is to knock the sleeper awake. But one who pretends to be asleep can never be awakened. For him will be punishment and wake up. Like that, without receiving Rabbu's guidance, you can make one understand while sleeping carelessly. But one who sleeps and pretends as if he knows everything and is ignorant cannot be brought to the right path. He should be corrected by punishing him.
29Deaf and blind
6:24. (O Reformist!) See how they lied against themselves, but what they (falsely) imagined (to be equal to Rabbu) would (disappear without helping them.)
Explanation Consider the fate of those who tell false stories about Allah, go astray, and belie the guidance of Allah.
6:25. Some of them listen to you, but We have placed veils over their hearts, lest they understand it, and deafness in their ears. And even if they see all the signs, they will not believe in them. And if they come to you, they will argue with you, saying, "These are nothing but tales of the ancients."
Explanation: There are some who pretend to listen when you present them with the guidance of the Scriptures, which show man the best path to life. In reality, they do not understand them. Therefore, by the decree of Allah, veils are placed over their hearts and deafness in their ears. No matter how much evidence you present to them, they will not accept it. And even if it comes to you, they will argue, saying, "The Day of Judgment is nothing but tales of the ancients. Nothing like that will happen."
13:19. Is he who knows that what has been revealed to you from your Rabbu is the truth like one who is blind? Indeed, those who have knowledge will be reminded.
Explanation One who knows that the guidance is from your Rabbu and acts upon it and the other blindly refuses. Will these two be equal? Only those who reflect will be reminded.
8:21. And do not be like those who say, "We hear," while they do not listen.
Explanation Do not be like those who say, "We hear," while they actually do not listen.
8:22. Indeed, the most odious of creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and the dumb who do not know.
Explanation: They should listen and understand everything and act with sound mind. The deaf and dumb who do not know anything are like the most odious creatures in the sight of Allah.
8:23. If He had known, He would have made them turn away from hearing, and even if He had made them listen, they would have turned away.
Explanation If they had had even the slightest ability to hear and understand, He could have made them listen according to the prescribed law of Allah. But they do not have even that ability. Even if He forced them to listen, they would still turn away.
10:42. And among them are some who listen to your words - can you make the deaf hear?
Explanation: And among them are some who come to listen to your words. But they pretend to listen to your words. Can you make the deaf hear?
10:43. And among them are some who look at you - can you guide the blind?
Explanation: And among them are some who look at you as if they listen to your words. But they are blind. Can you guide them?
10:44. Indeed, Allah does not harm people - but people harm themselves.
Explanation: The truth is that Allah does not do any injustice to mankind, not even the weight of an atom's weight (see also 4:40), but it is the people who do not listen to Allah's advice and follow their own desires, and they harm themselves.
Explanation: When the teachings of this Quran are explained to them, a division arises between those who accept the divine decree of “the final consequences of human actions” and those who reject it.
17:46. And We put deafness in their ears lest they understand it, and when you mention your Rabbu alone in the Quran, they turn away in disgust and turn away on their backs.
Explanation: So, there are veils over their hearts, lest they understand. Even if you explain it to them, they turn away as if they had not heard. Therefore, when you explain to them only Rabbu’s guidance, the One, the All-Powerful, the Rabbu of the universe, they turn away and turn away. Actually, the man should submit to Him alone
17:47. And when they listen to you, We know with what motive they listen, and when they consult one another in secret, they say, "You follow nothing but a man bewitched."
Explanation: Even if they attend your gatherings, it is not for the sake of hearing and acting upon them. When they leave, they say to themselves, "This is nothing but a mere talk to enchant the people. You should not follow him, thinking that it is the truth." Tell them that Allah is well-acquainted with what they do.
17:72. And whoever is blind in this world, he is blind in the Hereafter, and he is far astray from the right path.
Explanation: If one lives blindly in this worldly life, then he will also live blindly in the Hereafter. That is, such people will have no merit in this world. They will not get any reward in the Hereafter. Such are the ones who have strayed from the right path. (See also 20:124)
17:97. Whomever Allah guides, he is the one who is rightly guided, and whomever He sends astray, you will not find any helpers for him except Him. And We will gather them on the Day of Resurrection, blind, dumb, and deaf, lying on their faces. And their abode will be Hell. Whenever it is extinguished, We will increase the Fire for them.
Explanation: Always remember one thing. And whoever follows the guidance of Allah, they are the ones who are rightly guided. But whoever desires to go astray, they will have no helpers. And We will gather them together in this world and on the Day of Resurrection, blind, dumb, and deaf. Their abode will be Hell. Whenever the punishment thereof is diminished, We will increase it.
18:57. And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the verses of his Rabbu, yet he turns away from them and forgets what his hands have done? We have placed coverings over their hearts, lest they understand, and deafness in their ears. So even if you call them to the right path, they will never be guided.
Explanation: Think for yourselves. What can be said about those who, despite being clearly instructed and advised about what is right and what is wrong, refuse to accept it? When they are faced with the consequences of their actions, who can be more unjust than the one who rejects that advice? According to Allah's law, a veil is placed over the hearts of such people. That is, they are unable to understand the guidance of Allah. Not only that, but deafness is also placed in their ears. Therefore, even if they are called to the right path, they will never come to the right path.
27:80. Surely you cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear when they turn away.
Explanation: So you cannot make those who live like dead hear. Those who have ears but are deaf will turn away. Your advice will not enter their minds. Likewise, no one can make the dead hear, so it is useless to visit their graves and complain about their faults.
27:81. And you cannot guide the blind from their error. You can only make those who believe in Our verses hear, for they will accept them wholeheartedly.
Explanation Similarly, you cannot bring the misguided people to the right path, who live blindly without thinking about anything. You can only make them listen to those who trust in Allah's guidance and accept it wholeheartedly. Such people are Muslims who obey Allah.
In societies that go astray, suffering and sorrow arise from many angles. Sometimes, corruption occurs among the upper class of society and destruction occurs. Problems arise among the lower class of some societies and law and order is disrupted. Sometimes this becomes the factor that leads to division. As a result, society splits into many sects, which leads to many atrocities such as riots, riots and conflicts. (See 6:65)
45:23. (O Reformist!) Have you seen the one who takes his (physical and mental) desires as his Rabbu? And Allah has left him astray knowingly, and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart, and a veil over his sight. So, who can guide him after Allah? Will you not reflect?
Explanation: Have you seen those who follow their own desires? They act according to their desires. They do not think about their consequences. They say, "Let us see" when the consequences happen. So, have you seen what happens to them despite their knowledge? When their desires exceed, their hearts, ears, and eyes become dull and they become a ghost. So, they are not capable of thinking about any advice. So, they do not listen to the advice of Allah. Who can guide such people? Tell them to reflect on this. Furthermore, the people living in such societies only aim at temporary pleasures. They do not make any preparations for future benefits or for the life after death.
30Self- solution to the problem of society
2:17. An example of such people is like the example of a person who kindled a fire. When it (the fire) shone around him, Allah took away their light and left them in pitch darkness.
Explanation: An example can be given about those who create and rule a society based on self-contemplation. A person lights a fire in the dark and uses its light to dispel the darkness around him. When it goes out, darkness returns by the decree of Allah. In this way, they can only find a temporary solution to their problems. They cannot find a permanent solution.
Example: Rapes are happening in the country. They only announce punishment for this. It does not prohibit obscene films, television programs, and wrong cultures such as dance, which incite indecency
2:19 Or, (another example:) A cloud with darkness, thunder, and lightning, pouring down heavy rain from the sky, (those caught in it) put their fingers in their ears, fearing death, but Allah encompasses the disbelievers.
Explanation: Another example may be given of those who rule with self-conceit. A cloud with darkness, thunder, and lightning, pouring down heavy rain from the sky. Fearing death, they close their ears with fingers, fearing death, but Allah encompasses all.
Explanation: Another example may be given of those who rule with self-conceit. A cloud with darkness, thunder, and lightning, pouring down heavy rain from the sky, fearing death, but they close their ears with fingers, fearing death. But Allah's practical law encompasses all. That is, just as the impact of thunder and lightning is widespread, the impact of their improper actions surrounds the entire society.
Example: They allow the distribution of alcoholic beverages. Due to this, some people's lives are also in danger. When someone is affected, they feel sorr and give some compensation. But they will not even notice what is happening all over the country. Can saying a few words of condolence be a permanent solution to those problems?
2:20. The lightning seeks to take away their sight. Whenever it gives them light, they walk by it, but when darkness covers them, they stand still. And Allah will take away their hearing and their sight. Indeed, Allah is over all things powerful.
Explanation: The same lightning may also take away their sight. Not only that, but they are able to walk a little distance by the light of the lightning. Then when darkness covers them, they stand still. That is, the condition of those who reject the guidance of Allah and solve their problems with their own knowledge. If Allah had intended to take away their thinking and their sight at once, He could have done so. Because Allah is the most merciful over all creation, and so He does not do so.
22:31. And do not associate anything with Allah and submit to Him completely. And whoever associates anything with Allah, it is as if he had fallen from the sky and the birds had snatched him away, or a storm had swept him away to a far-off place.
Explanation: Establish a government according to the guidance of Allah and act in harmony with it. Do not associate any other principle with it. But whichever government ignores the guidance of Allah and follows other methods, it will lose all its strength and stagger, just as birds whose wings are clipped fall down in the sky, unable to fly, and birds of prey peck at them. Or a strong wind blows and blows them to a far place, causing a riot, a riot, etc., and they lose their homes and their lands and become refugees.
31An example of imaginary Gods
30:28. He sets forth for you an example from among yourselves: Do you take as partners with you those whom your right hands have taken as partners in what We have given you, and make them equal in it? Do you fear them as We fear your own? Thus, do We explain Our signs to a people who reflect.
Explanation: Do you consider those who are under your authority as equals to you? Or do you take those who earn your wages as partners? You do not regard them as you regard those who are equal to you. We cite examples from among yourselves so that you may understand.
That is, why do you not fear Allah, the Almighty, as you do with respect for those in higher positions? And why do you not give equal status to those in lower positions than you, and why do you worship the natural forces that work under Allah as equals to Allah?
It would have been better if you had given equal rights to those working under you and made their lives better. But you never do that. Instead, you fear those at the higher level and act with mutual respect towards them. But only in the case of Allah, you imagine the natural forces that He created as parallel Gods and fear them. Moreover, if you do not make efforts to improve the living standards of the people in the lower positions, it will be the cause of your destruction. You should have acted out of fear of this. Such a view prevails in capitalist social systems. These must be corrected.
32Prayer to imaginary Gods
13:14. The true call (supplication) is for Him, and those who call upon others besides Him will not respond to them. The example of prayer through calling upon others besides Allah is like that of a man who holds out his hands for water to reach his mouth, but it does not reach it. And the prayer of the disbelievers is nothing but misguidance.
Explanation: If a person abandons the guidance of Allah and calls upon imaginary Gods with mere words, it will not benefit him. Let us explain this with an example. A person stands in front of water and prays with his hands stretched for it to reach his mouth. Will it reach his mouth without his hands reaching it? Similarly, what will be the benefit if he praises imaginary Gods and thinks that he is pleasing them? So, the condition of those who reject guidance is the same.
22:73. O mankind! An example is set forth: So, listen attentively. Surely whom do you worship besides Allah? If you pray, they cannot create even a fly if they all come together, and if something is taken from them, they cannot take it back from it. The seeker and the sought are weak.
Explanation: O you who worship imaginary Gods! Come! We explain to you the truth by an example. Those whom you worship besides Allah, even if they all try together, they cannot create even a fly. And know their weakness. Even if a fly snatches away something, they cannot release it. You are asking for your needs from those who are so weak!
33Unnecessary Rituals
13:17. It is He who sends down water from the sky, and streams flow in accordance with their measure, and the scum rises up from the bottom, likewise, the scum that is melted in the fire for making ornaments or other articles. Thus, does Allah set forth the parables of truth and falsehood. The scum that is useless is destroyed, but that which is beneficial to mankind remains on the earth. Thus does Allah set forth parables.
Explanation: Rain falls from the sky by the command of Allah. Then the streams and rivers flow in torrents according to their capacity. The scum is carried up by the top of the streams. When you use water, you remove the scum and dirt that is not useful. Similarly, when you make ornaments or utensils, you melt the respective metal objects in fire. Then the unnecessary dirt and dross are removed from those metals. You clean them and use only the good ones. You remove the unnecessary ones. Thus, what is beneficial to the people of the world remains in this world. What is useless is destroyed. (See also: 13:39, 21:18, 42:24). Such examples are given for your understanding.
Similarly, the principles of life and practical laws that are useful to the people of the world remain in the world. Unnecessary rituals and traditions are destroyed. Moreover, societies that are beneficial to the world live well. Societies that are not beneficial are destroyed and disappear from the world picture.
34Consequences of human actions
13:15. All that is in the heavens and the earth prostrates itself to Allah, willingly or unwillingly, and their shadows do the same in the morning and evening.
Explanation: All that is in the galaxies and the earth is completely submissive to the command of Allah. Whether they produce desirable results or undesirable results, they continue to act in obedience to the command of Allah, just as the shadow continues to move from morning to evening.
The direction of the shadow changes according to the light of the sun. But just as the shadow cannot change its direction to another angle, so the natural creations of the universe can never change their position by themselves. And if it were possible to change the direction of this shadow by any other power, it would not be possible. Similarly, the consequences of a person's actions follow him like a shadow. No one can change those consequences.
24:43. (O Reformist!) Do you not see? Indeed, Allah draws the clouds slowly, then joins them together, then makes them dense, and you see the rain coming out from among them, and He sends down from the sky mountains of ice, and He makes them fall on whom He wills, and He turns them away from whom He wills, and its brightness is close to blinding the eyes.
Explanation: Do you not see how rain falls? By the command of Allah, clouds slowly form in the atmosphere, and they join together, and become dense one upon another. You see the rain water forming in the midst of them. And sometimes, ice forms in the midst of the clouds that are like mountains in the sky, and hail falls. You see the clouds moving in the direction of the wind by the command of Allah, and then they disperse. And you see lightning appearing between them, dazzling your eyes.
That is, the moisture in the air is not visible to your eyes until it forms clouds. Then it thickens and becomes rain and lightning. Similarly, the consequences of your good and evil deeds do not appear at first. They grow little by little and appear like rain as a result of good deeds, and like lightning as a result of evil deeds. Only then will you be able to understand them.
16:78. Allah brings you out of the wombs of your mothers while you were ignorant, and He gave you hearing, sight and hearts so that you may be grateful.
Explanation: You cannot initially see the foetus growing in the mother's womb. But according to the prescribed time, it grows and gives birth to a child. Rabbu has given you the senses of hearing, sight, and thinking so that you can live well and act with gratitude and faith.
Similarly, in societies No one is aware of the consequences of their wholesome actions at the beginning. Their senses of sight, hearing, and thinking are not capable of perceiving them. This truth is revealed through divine guidance. You should accept that guidance and act accordingly, and live a safe life. Otherwise, you will only realize the consequences after they have occurred. By then, it will be too late. Just as you cannot prevent the birth of a child, you cannot prevent those consequences. (See also 36:68)
35The Historical Cycles
39:23. Allah has sent down the most beautiful things in the Book (which are not contradictory), similar to each other (Muthashabiha), and repeated (to impress the mind). Those who fear their Rabbu, their skins tremble (when they hear them). Then their skins and hearts become soft in the remembrance of Allah. This is the straight path of Allah. He guides thereby whom He wills. But whomever Allah leaves astray, there is no guide for him.
1. Allah has sent down the guidance teachings in the most beautiful way, based on historical events.(Hadhees)
2. Remember that similar events have been happening in this world over and over again.
3. If you compare these historical facts with today's modern times, you will find that the same is happening today.
4. If you examine these facts, they will make you tremble.
5. And they will act with fear, considering the adverse consequences of acting against Allah.
6. This is the way of Allah.
7. So, whoever is eager to follow the path shown by Allah, they are guided.
8. Whoever deviates from the path of Allah, there is no one to guide them.
When you look at historical facts, you will find that the same kind of events have happened repeatedly. That is, people living without divine guidance went astray, and the messengers of Allah tried to correct them and guide them, and those who followed him were given beautiful living facilities, and those who opposed him and lived in their own way met with destruction - the same kind of events have happened over time.
Similarly, when divine guidance was explained, opposition arose. For example, against Reformist Moosa Nabi was king, Fira’un who lived in his time, Haroon who had accumulated wealth, and Haman who was a religious leader. (See 28:6) Such oppositions were strong during the time of Reformist Muhammad Nabi (Sal). (See 95:1-3) Similarly, if we present the divine guidance today, these three forces will oppose it. This should be taken into account.
The support of the poor and simple people will be the first to be obtained. (See 26:111) Just as Reformist Muhammad Nabi (Sal) tried to guide the people of the Arab world, who were a corrupt society, we should also try to guide the people of today, and we should not avoid our responsibility by saying that Imam ‘Mahdi’ will come or Reformist Jesus will come again.
36Those who conceal the truths of the Book
2:174. Those who conceal what Allah has revealed in the Book and take a small price for it; they have eaten into their bellies nothing but fire. Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. Theirs will be a painful punishment.
Explanation: Even after clear guidance has come to them, those seeking a small gain, are like those who have poured fire into their bellies. When the consequences of their deeds become apparent, there will be no room for the word "mercy" from Allah. Theirs will be a painful punishment.
62:5. The example of those who were given the Torah (Book) and then did not act upon it is like that of a donkey carrying a load of books. And evil is the example of those who reject the verses of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
Explanation: What will be their benefit to those who carry the Torah, which was revealed before, and? The donkey also carries heavy loads. Does it know what is in its load? Similarly, this example applies to a people who claim to accept the guidance of Allah with their lips, but do not act upon it. Therefore, the guidance of Allah will never reach those who do wrong.
The Book benefits only those who know the truth of the best guidance and act upon it. This is the example of those who carry it in a beautiful bag and recite its words without knowing its language.
37The doubt of Reformist Ibrahim Nabi
2:260. And when Ibrahim said: “My Rabbu! Show me how You give life to the dead!” he said: “Do you not believe?” He said: “Yes! But that my heart may be at ease.” Allah said: “Then take four of the birds and train them (to return to You), then separate them and place each of them on every mountain, then call them, and they will come to You in a hurry. And know that Allah is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing.”
1. The Reformist Ibrahim Nabi was also concerned about how to bring the dead people of this town back to life.
2. Once he prayed, “My Rabbu! How will You bring these people back to life?”
3. Allah said, “Do you not believe in My guidance?”
4. He said, “I believe, but I ask this to make it clear.”
5. Allah said, “Take four birds and train them well.
6. When they have become well-acquainted with you, separate each of them separately and place them on the top of a mountain. Then call them. They will come to you in a hurry.
7. Know that Allah is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing.”
8. That is, if even birds with five senses, after being well accustomed, will come running to you no matter how far you send them, then how difficult will it be for a human with six senses to do the same?
9. For that, you should train people well according to the guidance of Rabbu and accustom them.
10. For this, patience, moderation and perseverance are needed.
11. Just as birds run away when they first see you, so people will also run away when you explain religious truths.
12. You should explain them with moderation and wisdom. (See 16:125)
38Is Allah seated on the Throne?
Thinkers! The verses of the Quran say that there is no place in the galaxies and the earth without the presence of Allah. When the truth is like this, is it correct to say that Allah is sitting in a certain place? So, knowing its true meaning is very important. The word “Arsh” is a word that refers to controlling power. The word Usthawa means having all control within oneself. Look at the text of the Quran.
32:4. It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days and then placed Him on the Throne.
Explanation: It is Allah who created the universes and the earth and everything in between in six periods (see 7:54 for explanation). It is Allah who created them and controls them all.
39Is Allah's throne on water?
11:7. And He it is who created the heavens and the earth in six days. His throne was above the water.
Explanation Allah created the heavens and the earth in six periods and kept them under His control so that the system of the world would work well. (For explanation see 7:54) Not only that, he also controlled the provision of water which is the life serving of all living things. (See 2:22)
Dear Intellectual! In this verse it is said that Allah's throne is on water. Water is the source of life for all living things in the world. And it is with the help of water that all living things are formed. Man is still researching whether there is water on other planets. Because without water source no living thing can survive there. Consider the words of the Quran.
21:30. And do not the disbelievers see that We created every living thing from water?
Explanation: We have created every living thing in the world from water. Will people not accept this fact too?
24:45. And Allah created all living things from water.
In this way, Allah created creatures and provided them with water to survive. So, the phrase that Allah's throne is above the water means that Allah has control over the creation of all creatures and their sustenance.
40Allah's throne is carried by eight angels?
69:17 And the angels will be in its ranks. And on that day the throne of your Rabbu will be borne by eight (angels).
Explanation More angels will be in its ranks. And on that day the throne of your Rabbu will be borne by eight angels.
Dear Intellectuals! “Malaika” are cosmic natural forces created by Allah. For example, there is a energy called gravitational force around this earth. It is with its support that man is able to walk on the earth without any difficulty. If there is no gravity, man will have to hang in the sky. Humans cannot see that gravitational force. Thus, there are innumerable forces at work in and around the earth and all the universes. They are called Malaika
Similarly, the Earth in the Solar System revolves around the Sun under the gravitational pull of the other eight planets. So, Allah's "Arsh" means "this world" and the other eight planets are functioning under Allah's control. So, all the events happening in this world are having opposite effects in other planets. Those effects come back down to Earth. For example, the man move objects weighing several hundred thousand metric tons. When there are cosmic imbalances in its gravity, the earth corrects them by itself. They are one of the various factors that cause natural disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis.
In this way, all events taking place on this earth are recorded. And "Arsh of Allah" can also mean the system of governance that is formed in this world as shown by Allah. It means that the government will be divided into eight (Cabinet Ministers) departments namely Education, Agriculture, Weaving, Commerce, Défense Food Distribution, Road Facilities, Health and Medicine. All of them help to highlight Allah's rule.
41The example of righteous women
66:11. And Allah cites as an example for those who believe the wife of Fira’un. She said, “O, My Rabbu! Build for me with You a house in Paradise, and save me from Fira’un and his deeds, and save me from the wrongdoing people.”
Explanation: Allah cites as an example for righteous women the wife of Fira’un. Consider how her thoughts and actions were. She used to pray, “My Rabbu! I am suffering under the tyranny of my husband Fira’un. So, save me from this and make for me a place of ease and security. And save me from the wrongdoing people.”
Accordingly, she was given such opportunities and became known as a noble woman. Historical records say that her name was Asiya Khathoon.
66:12. And (Allah) gave an example of Maryam, the daughter of Imran. She guarded her chastity. We conveyed (to her) Our message. And she confirmed the words of her Rabbu and His scriptures. And she was one of the worshippers.
Explanation Then Allah cites Maryam, the daughter of Imran, as an example of a good woman. She happened to be a hermit in the monastery of Haikal Sulaimani. Despite the abuses against women there, she guarded her chastity without falling into the trap of the abbots there. For this, We revealed excellent guidance through the Reformist Zakariyya. So, according to the divine guidance, she left the asceticism that was customary in the ashram and engaged in household life. In this way, she bowed down to the guidance of Rabbu and became the root of His guidance. She was a brave lady who fulfilled the plans of Allah. (See above for explanation 3:35-47)
That is, the question is not what kind of place a man or a woman lives in. The question is how he lives. Notice how the two women mentioned above, even though they had to live in a very bad place, they remained faithful to the divine guidance and set an example for good women. Therefore, the place I lived in was bad. Therefore, saying that I have become spoiled does not get anyone any relief. (Ignorance of Law is no Excuse)
42An example of bad women
66:10. Allah sets forth for the disbelievers the wife of Nooh Nabi and the wife of Looth Nabi. These two were the wives of two righteous servants of Ours. But they both wronged their husbands. So, they could not save them from Allah. And it was said to them, "Enter you both with those who enter the Fire."
Explanation: The truthfulness of the law of Allah, which is the consequences of human actions, can be seen from some examples. Among them, we can cite the example of the wife of Nooh Nabi and the wife of Looth Nabi. They were the wives of the best reformers. Yet they did not listen to their husbands' advice. Neither of them could save themselves from the law of Allah, the consequences of their wives' wrongdoings. Therefore, the wives of both of them were caught in a painful destruction and perished.
That is, some things become clear to us through the example of those two women. Those Reformists did not divorce them because they did not accept the guidance of Allah. Rather, they tried to correct them. At one point, even though they were informed that a disaster was going to happen in the country, those women did not pay attention to it. Thus, they also became among those who perished.
Therefore, we should also try to guide our wives if they are in wrong path by explaining the guidance of Allah. We should not divorce or persecute them just because they do not accept the guidance of Allah. We cannot force anyone to accept guidance (See 2:256)The reason is that we have to consider the future of our children. If we divorce and marry another woman, the children will have the problem of a step mother. We will not be able to do social work.
43Yajud and Majud gathered
(The crushed ones are the ones who are raging like demons)
18:93. When he reached (a place) between the two mountains, he found a people beyond them. They did not understand a word.
Explanation This time the journey undertaken by the great man named Zul-Qarnayn (Syrus) was a mountainous region. He met the people living in those mountainous regions. He could not understand what they were saying because their language was different.
18:94. They said, "O Zul-Qarnayn! Verily, Yajooju and Majooju are making mischief on the earth. Shall we give you a sum of money so that you may make a barrier between us and them?"
Explanation: Then he appointed a suitable interpreter and learned about the situation there. They were very distressed and expressed their grievances to Zul-Qarnayn. They said that they were being attacked by the demons and wild beasts called Gog and Magog and were living in peace. So, they asked him to build a high barrier so that they could not enter their land. They also told him that they would bear the cost of it. (See 21:96 for further explanation)
18:95. He said, "What my Rabbu has given me in this is better (than what you have to give), so help me with your strength, and I am a strong supporter between you and them." "I will make a barrier."
Explanation: He said, "My Rabbu has provided me with all the facilities. So, I do not need your money. Only provide me with servants. I will raise a barrier between you and your enemies."
18:96. "Bring me iron plates." Then he said, "When they reached the top of the two mountains, he said, "Blow." When he had made it into fire, he said, "Bring me molten copper, that I may pour it over it."
Explanation: And he raised the wall under his watch. He said, "Bring me large iron plates." Then he raised the barrier between the two mountains. The wall reached to the top of the mountain. Then he melted the copper. He made the fire to burn. When it was well melted, he ordered it to be poured from the top of the wall. Thus, the wall became smooth and high and very solid.
18:97 So, (Gog and Magog) were not able to climb it. They were not able to make a hole in it.
Explanation: So the demons and the wild beasts were not able to climb the wall. They were not able to make a hole in it. Thus, a way was opened for them to live safely.
18:98. He said, “This is a mercy from my Rabbu. But when the promise of my Rabbu comes true, He will reduce this to dust. And the promise of my Rabbu is (absolutely) true.”
Explanation: “I am able to build this strong wall with the blessings of my Rabbu, such as metals. But it can only be reduced to dust by the flood or earthquake that my Rabbu has decreed. This is the promise of Rabbu that such things will happen.”
Zul-Qarnayn’s prediction was very accurate. He knew that such strong walls and forts made out of stones would not help the community in the future. On the contrary, only if all people act well according to Rabbu’s guidance will they find a way to a happy and secure life. If they do not act in this way, these walls and forts will crumble to dust. How will this happen? If a community does not act according to Rabbu’s guidance
18:99. And on that Day We will leave some of them (like waves) crashing against others, then the Trumpet will be blown, then We will gather them together.
Explanation: In the coming times, there will be inequality between the nations, and some will clash with others, just as the waves of the sea collide with each other. Then there will be riots and wars. The sound of battle will be heard. Thus, they will all meet on the battlefield.
21:96. When the way is opened for Gog and Magog, they will descend from every hill and spread out.
21:97. When the true promise draws near, the eyes of the disbelievers will stand wide open, (and they will say:) "Woe to us! Indeed, we were heedless of this, and indeed, we were wrongdoers."
Explanation: Inequality will arise among the communities that have no guidance/follow it. Therefore, the rich and powerful people who grow up there will oppress the weak people. After a period of time, the weak people will attack the powerful people like Gog and Magog like dare devils, defeat them and win over them. After that, their situation will also become like this over time. This is the Gog and Magog thing that is happening in today's world.
On the same basis, strong countries attack the weak countries like demons and enslave them. After a few years, the enslaved people revolt and drive out the foreigners as Gog and Magog and gain independence. In such countries that have gained independence, after some time, they themselves will engage in illegal activities and oppress the weak people. These are the truths that the Quran says about Gog and Magog. The only way to get rid of this miserable situation permanently is the Quran, which contains divine guidance. Let us create a better world accordingly.
